I don't really understand the ESRB system really. I think they just look at how dark the game seems, and give it a rating based on what they presume the target audience is going to be. Skyward Sword was rated E+10, despite having Ghirahim threatening murder on more than one occasion, and one scene where he even threatens to torture Link until he's deafened by his own screams. Yikes.

I remember thinking at first it was weird that the ACB gave it an M rating in Australia, but maybe they actually had the right idea...

I've never understood why its not allowed to show blood in kids media. I mean if the guy is cut, he's going to bleed right? Its realistic. I don't know maybe I developed differently or something.

I think it was rated M here because of the heavy use of motion controls... what with all the full-on stabbing and all that. If the game had button controls instead it would most likely be rated PG or lower .."

But anyway. Dead Hand is the scariest thing since AoL's game over screen.

The Silent Realms don't scare me anymore.
