One would imagine what would happen if she remains the girl who keeps hiding her real persona.

 

Odd that this never occurred to me till now. Sakura trusts Naruto 100% yet with Sasuke is... I wonder what would be like if it was Naruto that entered late. I can imagine Sai being all happy, asking Sakura the good news and Sakura would say the same line, only with a real smile. Kishi, what are you trying to say?...

well trust does lead to love you know what I mean .? Ever since the POAL , when she said those words , HE ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD ME , I knew they was going to get together someday . I mean Sakura always looked for Acknowledgement and somebody to udnerstand her , Naruto always did . I think Kishi is showing us that , Naruto is everythin she wanted Sasuke to be all along , but as she got to know Naruto better she realized he had all the qualities she wanted in a man .

Yeah, that's what it's heading to. My only concern is on how Kishi would end SS. So far, it's going good (or bad? Lol) because she's not being changed because of another woman or anything like that. Instead, she's being tested that being on the same team, under enemy of my enemy is my friend policy, still not good enough for her. Sasuke pretty much need to be a whole new person for Sakura to actually love him with no problems at all. You can say it's not positive love. So, the real question is how will she drops that feeling? Well, I hope Kishi does it good. It may cause uproar, but welcome to a "twist".

I just hope this war arc ends in the next volume :/ in pretty sure It won't with this one because of the way things have been playing out. However, with the Kage's arrival we can be sure that the war is near it's ending at this point. With that will come Sasuke's plan and the end of SasuSaku about like 99%. Again 4life I love your point because that NaruSaku moment again, didnt need to even be shown or brought up in the plot to change the story. Kishi just decides to do all this stuff just to show how good and improved the NaruSaku relationship is. Many people in the manga can tell that these two love each other just by the way they act around each other. Yamato with Sakura and Sai with Naruto, when both of them were not needed for plot development or the continuation of the story. It's beautiful how NaruSaku has evolved and become what it is and I hope kishi actually does give is the best when he makes this pairing canon. Imagine the anime and how good that will be for us :). They better use some amazing ass animations for it.

Part of why I don't think its recognizable to her is because it probably took her by surprise , she is probably thinking how did this baka make me fall for him like this .? She clearly has her reasosn in her head of why she should love him back , but think its just primarily shock on her part and the whole Sasuke situation that Naruto refuses to leave alone , even when sakura herself asks him to forget , I mean at that point it shows that she has no interest in bringing Sasuke back for herslef , but for Naruto .  With that being said yes I agree with you , her closeness is obvious , she obviously would die if she lost Naruto , thats why she she doesn't want him to go after Sasuke also imo . 

 

I mean I'm glad Kishi is taking the road as Sasuke coming back with evil intentions , he planned everything from the start , how he was going to transition Sakura from Sasuke to Naruto . It was brilliant on his part and it all started with the POAL .

Given that Kishi has written the story in a matter improving NS the most from friendship to friends with benefits or even lovers , i don't think that she will just hop over from Naruto to Sasuke or vise versa. The right man was in the right place all along and by place i mean in her heart , i can't even begin to imagine that sort of situation occurring at all .Sakura needs to find the answer for herself if not somebody would have to give her a hint , because honestly she is lost till otherwise contradicted . We still dont know how does she feels about SAsuke in general its still ambiguous to me heck maybe she still doesn't know how much she loves Naruto . What i am saying is that we need something big to happen something drastic that would trigger her emotions and lead to her final realization.

yeah , that was all great . It was building up ever since the land of waves to me when she started noticing Naruto even more . Like you said , the right man was there all along , she just couldn't believe it . Hence , why she is always so happy when Naruto is around , and why she seems to get sad when Naruto isn't around . How she cries even more when she feels like Naruto is just about to die and how she hits him out of relief when she realizes that he didn't die . 

 

The promise of a lifetime , made her realize , that she had somebody by her side that will always be there for her no matter what and who was there even when she treated him bad . She realized that Naruto would sacrifice his happiness just to see her happy , and sakura isn't oblivious to that because she actually takes the time to study Naruto and tries to make him happy .

I see what you are getting at , if its a good Sasuke , then thats even better because that just shows she love Naruto all along even a over a good Sasuke .

(I think ive been to all of em') they were talking about how sakura is cute and how sakura and kushina are ao much alike and how sakura is beautiful, and they were talking about how sakura is an awesome heroine. Btw while I was browsing japanese results about my fanarts on google, I found this under my NS x MK old fanart.

 

Ever since I first saw Kushina, I was thinking she was like Sakura just due to the back-story. Before the majority of other NS fans saw this stuff, I began to think, geez that rescue of Kushina was just like the Sakura rescue only 20 or so chapters previously. Some fans I talked with at the time, when the similarities were noted that the sequences and angles were very similar, especially the rescue, smiles, encouragement, and hugs, I had a discussion with other fans of all types to see if they thought this meant anything.

 

As usual at the time I talked with others about this, many said it was nothing major, but one time is not enough, this is something we have seen over 5 times now. I began to ask them if they thought either Kushina was really nothing like Sakura or if she was just based off Sakura for the sake of convenience to move the story along. So rather than a story design debate, it then sadly degraded into a pairing one in which they thought that this was again either part of the "NS red herring" or "it does absolutely nothing for NS as it was not development" then it somehow turned into a discussion over if Kishi was lazy in designing Kushina and the other sequences. So either Kushina is a factor for Naruto liking Sakura or all these similarities were just made as a choice to save time and cut the flashback story down quickly. Never mind Kishi made Kushina based off stuff he did with Sakura, he just wanted to save time or just mislead fans again....

 

Well aside from Kushinas past with Minato being similar to Sakura and Naruto, the design itself of these panels is just too similar by angle and by expression. Yet we still see next to nothing from the NH side of her somehow being like Kushina or even Minato. Nothing at all. Though this conversation happened a couple years ago, at this point its either kishi is doing this on purpose to give the reader some hints, at least it has a meaning. Or he was just lazy as others say, but to do this deliberately, when he could have just given Kushina a different easier unrelated personality and background to anyone, he could have but he did not. I highly doubt he was being lazy for the sake of time when it came to designing Kushina.

and also what about the Tsunade thing .? Because she made it clear that she was in love with Jairaya already to me . I think Tsunade might die and she might tell Sakura to not make the same mistake and to realize her love before its too late . ( Naruto )

Ok, something just crossed my mind. You know how the NH fans are always saying 'Sakura will just use Naruto as a backup because Sasuke isn't there'? I wonder if Kishi got sick and tired of seeing posts like that on every single Naruto related page on the internet and decided he'd put Sasuke in the story all of a sudden to show Sakura has really moved on. I doubt it, but it'd make my day if he wrote that.

 

Sasuke: Okay, Sakura, I love you.
