What do you mean? 

I'm saying that if Kishi was a little more like Oda for example maybe the ending wouldn't be such a kitten, maybe if he had a central direction he wanted to take the plot things wouldn't turn out like this. 

I'm almost 100% certain that Kishi doesn't actually deserves credit for Naruto's story, the one who deserves is Yahagi, his first editor, Kishi himself says he did everything his editor suggested him. So at the end when Yahagi parted he tried to do the same with his new editors and assistants, only to everything become such a complete kitten.

There is also the possiblity he became a sell out and gave his series for WSJ and Pierrot to cash in 

 

 

Either way in the end, its Kishi's fault, he wasn't forced or anything

NS wouldn't have needed a whole movie to seem believeable. It already had 698 chapters of development. Some of it was romantic, some of it was just platonic, The point is that it still had a solid foundation to become canon. 

 

For 698 chapters, this is how the pairing dynamic worked: 

 

Hinata loves Naruto, but Naruto doesn't see Hinata as anything more than a friend. 

Sakura loves Sasuke, but Sasuke doesn't see Sakura as anything more than an old teammate.

Naruto loves Sakura and there has been multiple instances where it was hinted that Sakura was in love with Naruto.

 

Oh yes of course, how could I have been so blind. It was obvious that NH and SS were going to be canon in the end. NS had absolutely no chance. Nope. It was just a red herring, but don't forget that Kishi doesn't really care about romance. That's why he spent 15 years consistently developing a red herring instead of giving any notable development to his actual pairings.

 

Yes, truly we NS fans are so delusional. We actually looked at the development and decided that NS had a much more solid foundation. That's just dumb. That's not how you write a good love story. A good love story is about who deserves who. Now how to you find out who deserves who? It's simple! Just look at who has been in love with who for the longest time. Yes I know that Naruto has been in love with Sakura ever since the start of the series, but you don't understand. He's a guy. Yes, I know he's he main character, but that's not how it works.

 

Look it's simple. The next time you read a story and you want to know what the end pairings are gonna be, just ask yourself these very simple questions. Is the character a girl? Is she in love with someone and for how long has she been in love with said person? Development? Logic? You don't need that, unless it's for puporsefully misleading you audience.

Well, I do remember seeing Yahagi in the front and center of the picture of staff members of Kishi's team. It's like Kishi truly owe a lot to him. In fact, they got interviewed. When that interview happened, a lot of people start to think, "Maybe that editor is the real mastermind," especially considering the timeline.

If he gave in he wasn't forced, being forced means he wrote the ending because of some bigger influence, sorry but this is impossible, Naruto is a big franchise like One Piece, Kishimoto is at the top of this franchise like Oda is at the top of One Piece. Its impossible to try to "force" something onto them. What happened most likely was that thanks to his own naivety , kishimoto was convinced he should end the series like that

 

 

The only possibility of him being forced is someone kidnapping his family or him and saying that if the ending wasn't going to be like that way it turned out to be then he/his family would pay the price...but this sound farfetched
