Funny...

RtN does really seem like an abandoned plot line. Let's see:

-Madara (at the time) was the main villain (sort of)
-Revisit Fourth Hokage area
-Sakura's parents (before popularity said no)
-Naruto doing sage and not incredibly broken KSM
-Naruto's parents' flashback
-Moral being similar to the original theme
-Naruto and Sakura being in character
-Ended with Iruka being there, the first bond EVER!

Yeah...It almost feel like Kishi literally mean something he couldn't do in the manga, but that would be generous of me to believe in Kishi.

Given from what I hear about japanese fans being optimistic for Bolt series, it doesn't seem too hard for SP to win their fans back now that they have NH out of the way...SS is more popular in Japan so it shouldn't be difficult for them to try and justify that with a bullsh** excuse

Though from what I hear, even though The Last has been making money, its not making as much as SP wants (I would guess) I mean its out of the top 10, for comparison Big Hero 6 debuted in Japan in late october and its still #1 at the box office

They are optimistic about the Bolt series? Whatever, if the movie flops that's great but it doesn't change anything. NH and SS have won, game over.

 

Though I never thought that SS was popular in Japan. As far as I heard it was more Sasuke and random girl. I know Sakura definitely isn't very popular in Japan.

I'm sorry, what? You mean to say that this spin-off is actually being looked at with anticipation? Well assuming you're right, this is yet another example of 2chan's marginilisation from the general public.

 

 

That sounds extraordinary cheap. I was under the impression that animation cost considerably more then that. The Great Mouse Detective in 1986 cost Disney 14 million bucks in 1986 dollars. Your telling me Japan can make a modern high end animated film for half of that today? Maybe your right, but I find it hard to believe and would need hard facts to stop feeling like your way off on your cost estimations here. Especially since they advertised about how much "more" they did animation wise, which I assume means more cost. Not to mention advertisements and distribution.

 

I don't see them pushing this film to the west so fast, as a sign that they meet their expectations.

 

Of course, and Spirited Away cost $19 million, despite Disney financing it partially. I highly doubt Pierrot has the same resources to support the creation of films typically churned out on an annual basis. $10 million is a generous estimate, in my opinion.

 

Edit: We musn't forget that the anime is still ongoing. So that would drain even further resources from Pierrot's budget.

SS is the typical "bad boy" pairing that is famous among girls, most of the people though the logical pairing that is NS would happen though

One of multiple stupid themes of this story. Along with the idea that the only reason there isn't peace in the world, is because people don't "listen" and "care" enough. Or that wars start because some people just "love to much" like the Uchiha. I feel like writing a story to counter all this kitten, and leave a dedication for Kishimoto.

 

To Kishimoto: Because of your horrible themes, and inability to deal with complex human idea and ideals in any meaningful way, this story was created. Had it not been for your work I never would have even bothered.
