don't worry guys... there will be a timeskip in the timeskip.

Well, if this movie is the ending of the Naruto story then your idea makes the most sense. But if there is part 3 and this movie is just to show the transition then I doubt if there will be two timeskips in the movie. Its all assumptions of course. One thing is for sure, This movie announcement has me totally confused

Part 3 is most likely, especially given the direction this manga is going. The movie seems like an opening to the next phase of the series. And yes, it's painfully obvious that Kakashi will be the 6th Hokage, plus that's what Obito said to Kakashi. He'll be Hokage for Obito just like Tsunade was for Dan and Nawaki. So why there's nothing "concrete" there's enough development in the manga to form a reasonable explanation to these things. You don't have to be a genius to connect the dots.

Maybe. But we don't know if Naruto won't become Hokage until the last chapter. We don't know whether or not Kishi will give us a story showing Naruto performing his job as the Hokage. So....its best to wait and see before assuming something and feeling disappointed.

Not adressed to me, but I'll answer lol!

Annie's design is great. Her nose in particular. And I love her other form too.

I used to hate Mikasa in the begining when she was all about Eren, but then she started to show some true character and skill, I just fell in love. I still cringe when she starts screaming Eren's name all the time and has those pseudo-romantic moments. I don't think that this is a healthy behavior, I think it is portrayed as broken. Mikasa is very traumatized.

Levi is just hot. I don't hate his character too. He is a jerk. But all the characters with a little exception (Armin, Jean) are crazy and scary in AoT. I mean, I hardly ever saw a more damaged character than Eren in shounen (or is it considered seinen?)

I don't care whether naruto becomes hokage or not,i used to care long ago but now only thing i care is NS.

If this movie is connected to manga,Naruto might be the winner of this n-s fight and when they clashed maybe their seals dispelled the IT.But Sasuke ran away and KakaSakuNaru returned the village.This happens after 2 years.Kakashi became hokage,Tsunade retired or died,Naruto is training for the hokage title .Sakura is a medic ninja.Sasuke returns for REVOLUTION with Taka.He uses bijuus to attack Konoha.Sand Siblings came to help.

Naruto is supposed to become Hokage being a Genin. This is the point. It is also a reference to the chounin exam in part 1, when he screamed that he can stay genin forever and still become hokage. He hasn't lost his chance to become chounin back then, but he has to fulfil the prediction))

I don't know. If he stay in konoha, he will become a jounin. If he is not in konoha, then he will stay as a genin.
And we should take naruto arm into consideration. I believe he can't perform seal because his right arm get damage.

Yup, op is not a title, but king of pirate is.
Hokage is a behind the desk job. Only require action when the situation call.
Many manga should end years ago.
Naruto will become hokage at the end of manga. And 7 is a lucky number.

Why are we even comparing it to OP when it will last for about another decade? Plus we saw Roger when he was king of the pirates before he died.

 

Just because he's an hokage does't mean he has to remain behind the desk. Kishi can set up events like the pain arc and war arc for the kage to get some action.

 

How long has this war been going on? Half of it felt pointless and Kaguya was a complete and utter waste of ink. 

 

If we only see Naruto as Hokage just as the series is going to end I will feel even more unsatisfied than I already am. We should be awarded more than just a sample size of something that has been building up for more than a decade.

I wonder why is Kishi not showing us the full sketch of Sasuke and Kakashi. Maybe Kakashi is Hokage. Maybe Sasuke is half naked (yes kishi. lol) OR maybe Sasuke is pregnant.

You can tell me to stop assuming because that is the point of this discussion. We base our theories on the manga's development and discuss it. And I have long felt disappointed in the series, but that doesn't mean I can't discuss it.
