My original post: "I'm not insulting or degrading anyone. My criticisms are directed at the veracity of their sources. What motivates these people to respond in the manner which they do? Prejudice? In circumstances like these, we need to be impartial and objective if we hope to prove that The Last is really not doing as well as Pierrot expects to be.

Your responce: "What do you consider impartial and objective? They can't be because they hated it?"

It's exactly as I already explained. The sources they cite use sales figures, AKA Pierrot's measuring stick, to judge how the film is doing like the movie sales estimates that Ramen provided some time back.

If you believe that I was referring strictly to written reviews on things story, characters, music, and other aspects of the film as seen on Yahoo Japan then I apologise for the confusion. I'm challenging their sources in the sence that their numbers may or may not come from actual trustworthy sources. Could they be altering a few of the statistics in an effort to undervalue the film because of their grievances against it? That was the context of my questions.

So, again. You said that you believe your new source more because the other ones ""could"" be biased.

How trustworthy is your source? And how do you know it? I didn't read the last 200 pages.

 

 

The only ones who can answer that question are people familiar with 2chan's forum. Ramen is the only one of us who understand Japanese and frequents the website enough to clarify whether polls can be made or not.

Then ask him.

Other forum users have already gone to lengths in discrediting him so I offered my own evidence some pages back that reinforce the film's financial success.

Now I'm waiting for RyohkiFan to provide more evidence for The Last dipping below the top 10 besides eiga.

Then ask him.


Like I said, it's already been mentioned several times, and it's been ignored. Ramen could be asked again, but there's no guarantee that he would notice or respond to it.
