Converted into Yen, that's ¥507 million, or 29% of the overall box office - more than enough to put The Last above the expected mark at ¥2.25 billion.

That's almost an entire billion increase in profit over RtN, a film that ended with ¥1.48 billion.
 

What you want is to ask every japanese who read the manga if they liked the ending, yes, no, why. That's impossible. You can only get the general view.

 
I recognise that that's impossible at the moment, or at least incredibly to organise. The most we could do is create a poll on 2chan to see what the general sentiments for the ending are like.

I don't have the necessary tools to ask them directly, and I wouldn't do so anyway. Instead I'll wait to see what the final numbers look like at the box office.

Yes, The Last is succes, because many reasons:
- fraud, misleading marketing company, title, huge base of fanats of Hinata, and VA of hers, casual fans of Naruto that wanted to end their jorney with this movie. because banana.

I agree with the latter points, that did help to entice a larger turnout than what may have been earned with a standard formula Naruto movie. But the fradulent tickets only amounted to ¥50,000,000 out of the ¥1.75 billion total, assuming the figures on that post are accurate. That's less than 10% of overall revenue.
 

No, it's not best Naruto movie, it's worst. Because every character that wasn't Hinata - was ruined or didn't have any resolution at all. 
What you trying to do, it's fighting windmills, you can't hammer logic or sanity of how stupid plot for ending of 15 years story that wasn't even about Hinata in heads of NH fans or SS fans. They already have numbers that shows how "good" it is. On other hand we already saw how much movie contradicts every moment of manga, and plenty of Kishimoto's interview that suggest NH wasn't planned to be pictured by Kishimoto.

For the second time now, I'm not considering general sentiments when estimating the financial success of the film. Pierrot factors in popularity, true, but what they're insterested in chiefly as a studio is profit. That motivation is already being appeased with a constant supply of revenue from those still willing to watch their film.

Numerical logic isn't always dependent on favourability or consensus. Whatever your opinion is, the numbers don't lie, unless person giving the numbers is intentionally deceiving for whatever reason. But the 1.75 billion figure appears to be the general consensus all across the board so I'm using it.

Well just got done watching a video showing the last 45 minutes of "The Last" on YouTube .

It had hardly any sound and was in a different language so I'm glad about that but I could tell enough of what was going on just from the visuals. All I can say the ONLY good thing about the movie is just the fight scenes........that's it. Though some aspects of Naruto vs Toneri reminded me too much of DBZ Super Saiyan vs Super Saiyan and went a little too much into overpowering Naruto in that fight .

That's all I got on that so I'm goin back to sleep see ya!!!!

Sakura was already starting to warm up to Naruto  bc of Naruto's actions like his determination , never giving up attitude , his support and kind heart  and even his idiotic part and his pranks   she was slowly seeing Naruto for who he was  and Sakura was taken by it and giving that special gentle smile  of hers  only to him  . I'm sure with Sasuke being his a**hole self and Naruto being there for her supporting her she would have eventually come around and be with Naruto .

Ugh, I hate scenes from the wedding. All of the girls have cute outfits in except for Sakura, who looks like she's in a kittening bed sheet. I really hate how SP changed both of her outfits, because god forbid Sakura looks like her attractive self in the manga and outshine retcon-hime.

 

Every time Kishi drew Sakura in cover spreads she always looked fantastic( Samurai, LOTR x-over, cowboys,ect.), but when SP or CC2 designed Sakura's outfits, they were average at best and ugly at worse.( the wedding scene outfit, Sakura's summer outfit in the game.)The amount of disrespect the associates of Naruto have done to Sakura should be a crime.

 

I know being upset about this is pointless, but after this ending, I just can no longer let the little things go.
