You know, if you think the manga did it bad with Naruto being a DBZ knock off, this movie takes a whole new level. To be honest, I believe that's the case of having this amount of budget and took every advantage. Here's the thing: the movie is all flash, no substance. Everyone has a beam or blast, no Jutsu performing whatsoever. It wants to show off the explosions and the flash. The one part that has been bothering is that Naruto can do Rasenshuriken alone, no other forms, and use it literally as destructo disc. I guess that's why they skipped all other battles because it was saving for the end. This movie has no identity. I find it much easier to notice in Scott Pilgrim movie. Seriously, I didn't know about the graphic novel, so seeing him fighting caught me off-guard...

Sakura barely do anything good on the love guru part. It's rather unnecessary. The scene with the whole love talk is forced and come off horrible. To me, it would have been best just to leave it as it is and have Naruto actually explore his own love as well as understanding. In other movies, you have them confronting them because of their feelings, not because the other person. Like for example, if I were to get upset after the whole situation, they would talk to me about my own feelings, wondering if I did the right thing, but it's something that I must do. Instead, we got Naruto blaming Hinata out of all people, and only bounce back because Sakura said women can't change. No lies. That's his rebound.

Nope you missed the point  I said it bc this kitten is bad which means I really don't want it  and asked for brainwash machine get it     .  

 

I thought Hinata was with Tony at that time  right !? But if she was they would have made the Byakugan to repel Genjutsu  heck they made it cast one  with Tony how did a Hyuuga cast a genjutsu  since kittening when was that in the manga   .

 

Of course he did  he's a freaking sellout money a few yens were more important to him then keeping his own creation  he can burn in hell .

It's just SP way to say "look at how much money we've put in that movie...look at how the animation is great !!! You'll never see that in any of our animes (Unlike madhouse..etc) and forget about the story, all what matters is that the animation is good and that we can whatever we wants with the mangas plots "

Clearly, this movie needed to focus on Hinata's feelings completely. Hell, even in Naruto's memories, they only showed the basic. Naruto was not allowed to think for himself or express his true feelings at all. He was forced to bend to Hinata's character, by acting as her slave. Then, he was guilted into loving her via genjutsu. And in the end, decided to be with Hinata, because " her feelings would never change." Naruto was not a character, he was Hinata's kitten and treated as such, because any and everyhting goes to Hinata, since she's the real star. (sarcasm.)

 

The other characters were treated the same, but to a lesser extent. Sakura, Sai, and Shikamaru were forced to ignore Naruto's side of things, until he "saw the light" and realized what was "good" for him.Hinata practically sat on her ass, while everyone did everything for her and got treated as a princess in the end.( byakugan princess my ass, is that why she couldn't see the rock in front of her? or how about the spider web?)

 

I see exactly why people grow to dislike characters, when they become overrated. And Hinata has got to be the most overrated character, I have ever seen. She had potential, but all that was practically tossed out the window in part two, then completely crushed by the end. She didn't even get a chance to develop, yet somehow her character regressed. It's a damn shame.

Yes, she does that and it's more of a serious way, which is messed up. Sakura never got a comedic look aside from examining Hinata. Naruto only got one. This movie has "Why so serious?" written all over it. There's no charm to it. It just seems so serious. I don't get it, I see movies like Disney where they are older and they get comedy moments, yet they still get together because it's an adventure worth going for. Here, once Naruto came out from genjutsu, he's already in love. I don't get it. Like my girlfriend said, "Love out of pity? That's harsh."

Well, if Adam Sandler's movies, Transformers, Michael Bay in general, and even spoof movies get a lot of money, what makes you think this movie is no different. The audience in the movie seems casual because they would laugh at something that is actually not meant to be funny. The best example is when Naruto confessed his love to Hinata and gone pure quiet. They laughed. That was a serious moment. Though it does remind me when people laughed at seeing Pikachu trying to revive Ash back in Pokemon Movie 1.

Pretty much. That one punch, which is funny because I instantly reminded myself the old school Natsu, did way too much damage. It does destroyed craters, sent Toneri to the other side of the moon, and yeah, that is like, "Hey, gamers! Now you can show the power of Xbox and PS4 with this scene! Do it!!!"

The real Naruto would have been so~~ happy to lunch with Sakura-chan 

And as you said NS4L, Naruto was almost the only one to understand other's feelings,  and could feel when someone was really in love , this is like retconing- no... it IS retconing the PoaL scene...etc !the whole manga..

seeing this really makes me feel better..cause I know that's not the Naruto we knew throughout the manga : the one who could understand his friends, who would never give up, who would never let anyone down, respect his parents and senseis/Hokages..and THIS Nardo, in none of these, he's just a pitiful scumbag and a trophy husband for that as pitiful Hinakittens who can't even become an independent woman !
