Do you guys remember how Kishimoto was supposed to work on "Mario" once Naruto was finished ? You know, the manga he called "the best manga I've ever written" ?
I guess Mario being totally unknown to the public wouldn't have been profitable to him. However, milking the series that's already an international success even more ? Easy peasy ! Just have to use the characters he already had !
But just think about it people. If NaruSaku had been canon, what would have happened to Sasuke ? And Hinata (well, Hinata shouldn't count as she isn't an important character) ? Sasuke wouldn't have been able to marry anybody (and this is coming from a SasuKarin shipper, but he doesn't love her back JUST LIKE he doesn't love Sakura back). And Hinata would have ended alone...

Which wouldn't be a problem normally, BUT he needed a lot of pairings to happen so he'd have new characters (the kids) for the new project.

 

So you see, even Kishimoto gave up on his "ideal" manga (Mario) for a bad compromise... so you shouldn't be wondering why Naruto didn't get his "ideal" either... as mangaka, as protagonist, I guess. This is disgusting.

I hope everyone here continues to be members... I know I sucked in terms of appearances these last couple of years, but I just wanna let you all know that I don't care what anyone's opinions were, I don't care if you were quick to judge or quick to jump. It doesn't matter to me if you were here for the sake of it or if you were a dedicated fan... All I know is you were here making posts, you were here to be a part of this experience, and now your here for it all to come to an end. I know most of you probably don't know me and I don't know most of you...but, but I just don't like saying good byes. I've had to say so many up to this point, that I don't wanna say it anymore : ( Things didn't go our way in the end, but I hope we'll all stay together for at least a little while longer...

Still in a bit of shock. Not sure if I feel mad or just amused because I keep laughing about this ending. It's just so bad I can't help giggling.

 

I'm not very fond of NH because I think it's boring as hell, but I'm very glad that Naruto was able to let go and move on from Sakura. To think that I had high hopes and a good opinion of Sakura... thought she went through some kind of DEVELOPMENT but I guess not.

On a colored cover for one of the chapters after the Pain arc ( it was when both Karui and Omoi showed up to demand Naruto, Sakura and Sai info about Sasuke before a fight came out), we have Team Samui and Team 7. Karui and Sakura are front and center looking at each other with such intensity, assuming that Sakura may have found a new rival. But that didn't came into fruition. 

 

Too bad, that would be a nice angle to play out

Omg, I also had a dream today! I had a dream that I was reading the final chapter and NaruHina and SasuSaku became canon, I woke up immediately, went on the NS tag on tumblr and reassured myself that NS was not dead then went back to sleep. And sadly my dream was accurate.

Hello to my NaruSaku fandom, It is and has been a privilege to be a part of this fandom. I have been NaruSaku fan since 2009 and proud member of Heaven and Earth fandom since 2011. I havent posted much but I was always on forum reading stuff, lurking etc. You people have always made my day with your sharp assesments in trying to figure out manga and pairings and i thank you all for that. It seems Kishi has submited to Shonen Jump HQ cause of future works and steady income of money or was seriously threatened by NH and SS fans. Japanese people can be very scary :)

When people grow older they loose their ideals, and forget whom theyve been and what made them what they are today. Kishimotos underdog Naruto hasnt achieved his dream and if we see that Naruto is based on author himself then the author himself is seriously unhappy with his life :). Also he forgot why he even became a manga artist and how this work was about him underdog rising to glory, to fall so low is uncanny.

Still NaruSaku was and till this moment is the most logical pairing of the three as it was wonderfully and steadily crafted in the earlier days of this manga and authors life. Who knows how  thretened he was so in the end those things changed his way of thinking. If that happened than he was not worthy of writing our hero Naruto who never gives up, cause his author wouldnt break down and run away from all of it like a coward which our hero was not.

As the sayng goes to all good things come and end, so the end must come for this story even if like it or not. We have cried, endured and eventually matured over the course of this manga and gathered a pretty bunch or unique people. I think we today are ready to leap into the brave new world world outside of this manga where things are a little bit more logical than this ending. and fulfill our dreams and life in our own way not dictated by some petty scared ass of a writter. And let it be known that we were proud and fell with pride, took on with our lifes unlike some NH fans who would not be able to move on with their lives if NH didnt happen. Cheers to ya all Ill be around lurking and stuff. Also chill out with a song :)

Are you ShadowFox88 from NF? Yeah, none of those pairings were actually earned, nor do they make any sense, but that's how Kishi rolls.

Is it bad that I'm still clinging on to some false hope that this all a genjutsu or some kitten? Cause I seriously refuse to believe this is actually 100% how the manga's supposed to end without reading the chapter first. 

 

I tried pushing that theory all, but if that's the case, the final chapter itself is one pretty big genjutsu, hahaha

Ino turned out to be good-looking person, so did Kiba, and Sakura, and Naruto, and Sasuke, and Neji, and TenTen, and so many others.

SO WHY CAN'T THEIR CHILDREN LOOK GOOD. AND DIFFERENT.

I'm pretty sure that Naruto moved on after what happened in ch 693.
Kishi decided that Sakura won't change her feelings, so you know because Naruto is the hero he will sacrifice his feelings for her so that she can be happy. Actually, I like Naruto and that's what a true gentlman would do.

Yes, I know that exactly. I cried myself out on my mother's shoulder, begging her to not ask why I'm so sad, and she didn't but just comforted me. I'm still a fan of this series and I always will be. But not of this ending. I accept it as canon but I also don't, because the time I've invested in this pairing has made it canon in my heart. I don't need the maker to draw those lines for me if I can imagine them myself, and this is what I'll do. Who knows, maybe I'll get the strength someday to laugh about this and simply do what I want to do, which is making my doujinshi about MY Naruto and Sakura's daughter's adventures. The Harry Potter fans were able to do the same after all as well. It will always sting a little, but I know what we had and I won't let it get destroyed by the mangakas errors.

So is not bad to feel sad about this, but because it hurts.

like im tired of the so called sakura fans still  putting her on a pedestal and being completely alright with her decision even now..and also blamming the others criticizing her when they have every single right...she is the soley reason why narusaku didnt happen..cause im sure naruto loved her until the last minute but  after he witnessed how many times she is still smitten for sasuke what could he do?if sakura would had given him a chance naruto would choose sakura ten times over hinata...so stop defending sakura...she is a destroyed terrible character,worst role model for teenage girls...just complete utter kitten of a woman with nothing but air in her head

Agreed. I love her but if she still loves Sasuke than she has chosen her own hell and I'm not going to defend her anymore. It's like a druggie on meth. You can try to help them, but if they keep going back to their poison than you are just wasting your time. It's Kishi's fault for bad writing, but Sakura has free will and she has made several terrible choices throughout the series.

Wow, thank you. I was just trying to get people to see this big possibility of Kishi just screwing everything, so you wouldnt get it hit in the face full force, just like it happened now.

Well in the end that didnt even work for me, i still got it in the face even though i expected it. I only never thought it would be this bad.

Of couse you werent wrong for believing in NS noone was. It was the most logical outcome of all this, but as it seems kishi doesnt seem to care about logic and whats shown in his won story.
