Oh no, I am not ill or anything. That's me just being dark and thinking about how each year since 2019 is getting worse and worse.

I hope so!  I would be so happy tbh. When NH happened I was so depressed and hated feeling like that. I invested a lot of time into NS and when that ending happened I fell into depression. I don't ship as hard as I used to and Ii always keep an open mind that ANY shipping can happen at any moment.

I'm seeing a lot of SS Sakura fans celebrating now that naruto and sasuke are depowered she is the strongest member of team 7 by default

Well when she got that forehead seal she was suppose to be their equal. Then they got power ups from the Sage and now they lost those power after years of relying on them.

 

Sasuke now is one arm and one eye, and Naruto doesn't have his super mode, chakra sensing emotions and likely the reserves he is used to. Sakura is the only one that didn't lose any power while they may have gotten weaker than they were before the Sage's power up.

There are many issues with the Naruto story that need a good scrub. Making NS canon is not the all around fixer-upper, but it a giant leap in a good direction. Yes, Ino's character needs to change too. ALOT of characters need some change.
 

This is what many NH and SS proenders seems to just forget. It is not just NS not being canon that is the problem. That's just the icing on the kitten cake. The pairings is the just the icing. The REAL issues is the fact that every female character is only valued for their love affair so their character gets destroyed; the bonds an friendships are thrown out, other characters who have not a single bit of panel time together are all of a sudden best friends JUST so they can push a singular pairing plot point, and just so much more.

The proenders don't realize that EVERYTHING was sacrificed to make NH and SS canon. It is not just us kittening cause NS didn't happen. The entire plot was scrapped for these kittening pairings. Not even for SS either...it was solely done for NH. SS was just a biproduct.

Ino is ONLY with Sai to get her out of the way for Sakura to be with Sasuke and Sakura is only with Sasuke to get Naruto out of the way for Hinata.

They don't see it. All they see it "Hinata loved Naruto...so it all makes sense." I bring this up with Naruto fans all the time even with coworkers and I realize that they don't care. Even when they agree with me the series doesn't make sense.

The Naruto fans didn't read the story...all they read was concepts. "Sakura loved Sasuke. Hinata loved Naruto" That's all they read.

 

They know it, they're just in denial. There are those that claim the Last is not canon, remember? But as long as they got what they wanted they don't care. I agree, We've all know this since day one, that the ENTIRE POINT of Naruto's story was thrown under the bus to make Naruto even look in Hinata's direction, that's why we mostly don't bother with post chapter 700 content. But back on topic the whole Sasuke debacle irked me for sure because it just made Ino and Sakura look worse off character wise. some things definitely could have been done better.

 

The more I think about, the more I say... Sakura falling in love with Naruto would have gave her character more development because he made her feel stronger while Sasuke makes her weak.

 

Sakura WAS HERSELF around Naruto, that was the key aspect. She was strong, funny, fragile, temperamental and patient all at the same time around him. She made Naruto a better person and vice versa. With Sasuke, she is just kissing his feet and being submissive. Same with Hinata towards Naruto. They are not equal relationships, the women are essentially being the men's enablers and letting them shrug off their responsibilities towards their families

Heard it before. Again we just need to make a topic for all the interviews.

 

The problem is like anything thing said after the ending. Is this actually what happened or is this what the corporations (Tv tokyo and SP) are telling them to say to defend the ending? Again kishimoto changed when nH was decided constantly until it eventually landed on 'always intended'.

 

Also remember they are still working on Naruto-Boruto that is a large part of their earnings that they live off of are from that anime. If the company (SP or TV Tokyo) needs them to lie that the pairings were always intended to appease the fans, they will do it. Because telling the truth/something else/doing the opposite will not appease the fans (in the minds of the executives) to get them to watch the sequel, anger their boss, and damage themselves financially.  

 

I'm just gonna say this, "people lie to cover for themselves and the people they work for all the time. People have lied to you all the time. People in government. The news media. Companies. That restaurant you went to last week that told you your food was 'freshly made'. Your own family has lied to you." And I'm sorry to say this but your all gonna have to learn to realize when people are lying to you and figure out what the closest thing to the truth you can find on your own.

They were impacted financially, of course they'd do anything to control the blast. Which didn't work by the way.

If it works, you'd see a lot more of NH and SS episodes, a lot more NH and SS chapters, more video games, more movies, more sales, more interest, more fans.

NH/SS still get little to no screen time, after the ending.

I didn't read Boruto, but I follow the threads on the summary that Bail diligently write for us (thanks Bail). Here's the litmus test: when Naruto almost die (which instead replaced with Kurama), when Sasuke lost his eye power... are there any pages in which husband and wife bonds being depicted? Are there any NH/SS moments? (In the form of flashback or current event).

I have my guess, but I'll defer to someone else to share.

Well I've been called upon, so I will answer. I don't keep up on the anime -other then a few clips I've seen- once I stopped doing summaries for the episodes I stop watching because I already seen enough to guess what would happen in later arcs. So, I do not know if they have done or not nH and SS arcs since then.

 

As for the manga. There wasn't much interactions for either couples till after Nail arrived at the village.

 

nH. They had breakfast together as a family with Nail. There was no special interactions between Naruto and Hinata other then Hinata telling Bolt to listen to his father; when he was telling Bolt he was putting too much salt on his eggs. Also Naruto was there because he was trying to bond with Nail to figure out his deal in order to then help him; with Bolt pointing out it was weird he was there implying he still doesn't spend much time with him, even after the chunin exams.

 

After he got his ass kick by Jenga. The family was there when he woke up for a page. Then the next time we see him, he is talking with Shikamaru about what happened.

 

Most of the time Hinata is taking care of their daughter; who is suppose to be 10 years old but always comes off as 5-6.

 

SS. Sakura had to buy flowers from Ino's shop for a gift to Sasuke to celebrate him visiting them again; which apparently became a tradition she started after the gaiden, so she been doing this for less then a year. But comes of as weird as it suppose to be the husband returning home after a long time away doing this as an apology not the wife. He also landed in front of her after escaping from Jenga. Though this is pragmatic since wouldn't you know how to teleport to the greatest healer alive if you could when you need medical attention?

 

Then, they are both are by Salad's bedside after the battle with the Blacksmith. Sakura praises Salad for doing well and Sasuke agrees with her.

 

That's it for both in the manga, don't know about the anime.

 

As for the husband and wife bonding after losing their power? They just got back at the end of this last chapter, so we will see in the next few months if there any, especially next chapter.

In the anime they are SOME moments but I wouldn't call it SS moments. Its mostly family moments and that's it. I don't care for NH but I don't think they are any moments for them in the anime if there are then its mostly family moments. I'm always seeing the NH fans crying about Hinata not being able to do much and that all the other female characters get their accomplishments shown off or that they see more SS than NH.

 

Hinata biggest accomplishment is Narutos wife which is sad.

1. Getting Sakura-Chan to finally look his way and ultimately marry her and have kids with her.

2. Becoming the Hokage and gaining the respect of the village.

3. Finally breaking the cycle and bringing peace to the 5 Nations.

To be fair number 3 was never going to happen evil will always exist and take another form even worse like Halloween 4 said it best you can't kill damantion it don't die like a man dies.

Kurama probably refused to reopen the Tenketsu point because of how embarrassing it was. I mean if a child can do that to him imagine if someone sent an actual assassin like a Haku after him. Or worse Deidara. Dude that slow would get blown to bits in an instant.
