Oda already made a tribute to kishi when the Naruto manga ended. I find it completely unnecessary to do anything else.

Well, he surely does with the elemental jutsu in this chapter.Oda already made a tribute to kishi when the Naruto manga ended. I find it completely unnecessary to do anything else.

I think in Jump, it's no stranger to do a tribute. Haikyuu did one for Assassination Classroom, so I wouldn't be surprised with One Piece.

It doesn't matter whether Raizo was a tribute or parody to Naruto. He's already better than anything in Naruto after just one chapter.

My one issue with this chapter, is the fact that it made me think about something odd. If Robin was this 79 million bounty girl at the age of like 8, then how did no big names try to get her?
The biggest one that got her was Crocodile, and he was nowhere near as strong as an emperor. You're telling me that no emperor went to go smash Crocodile in 5 seconds after touching the island and snatch up Robin?
They know everything, and yet the one person who can uncover their ponoglyhphs isn't being captured by an emperor. Ace was on Alabasta and didn't care about Robin being there.
Every big name knows about the Straw Hats... so why hasn't these ponoglyph freaks who are willing to sneak on the emperor islands and steal their ponoglyph text not jump Luffy's crew yet?

Refresh my memory but I don't think they know she can read those at a great rate. If they do and if they see her, they will get her immediately. The fact she read it in front of others, that gave them an idea that she can read it yet it can be very dangerous for her. Because probably people though of her as dead, her last wanted poster was exactly after destroying her motherland.
