And as you said NS4L, Naruto was almost the only one to understand other's feelings,  and could feel when someone was really in love , this is like retconing- no... it IS retconing the PoaL scene...etc !the whole manga..

seeing this really makes me feel better..cause I know that's not the Naruto we knew throughout the manga : the one who could understand his friends, who would never give up, who would never let anyone down, respect his parents and senseis/Hokages..and THIS Nardo, in none of these, he's just a pitiful scumbag and a trophy husband for that as pitiful Hinakittens who can't even become an independent woman !

Anyway, that's from the genjutsu world. She was supposed to talk to Hinata there, but Naruto somehow swapped world with Hinata. I don't know. The whole genjutsu never made sense in the movie.

Even the way Naruto fell in "love" with Hinata doesn't even make sense .... 

I think the whole studio (except for a few)  doesn't know to "write" romance ahem...

No. This happened. Ok, in the movie, Sakura was talking to Hinata. Now, in genjutsu, apparently Naruto swapped with Hinata and have his own reactions. That's his. It's insulting.

I find it funny how Sakura did a lot of important kitten, like snapping people out of the genjutsu, taking out puppets, saving Naruto's life, defeating a giant crab monster, and saving Hanabi, yet we only get glimpses of those scenes.

 

Meanwhile, we get scene after scene of Hinata knitting a kittening scarf and just embarrassing herself, tbh. If it wasn't for the fact that they forced Sakura to become a love guru for NH, then I would have said SP didn't do too bad with her character. But, since they did make Sakura only cater to Hinata's wishes,while ignoring Naruto's, they can screw off.

I wonder if the the harsh reception in certain circles of the Naruto fandom populace for TL is what inspired the anime to wane in popularity. Does the popularity of a feature film typically influence the serial franchise?

This movie made little sense before it was leaked, now it has only insulting side for logical people, fans of Naruto, Sakura and their characters... hell even Hinata from manga...

Sakura barely do anything good on the love guru part. It's rather unnecessary. The scene with the whole love talk is forced and come off horrible. To me, it would have been best just to leave it as it is and have Naruto actually explore his own love as well as understanding. In other movies, you have them confronting them because of their feelings, not because the other person. Like for example, if I were to get upset after the whole situation, they would talk to me about my own feelings, wondering if I did the right thing, but it's something that I must do. Instead, we got Naruto blaming Hinata out of all people, and only bounce back because Sakura said women can't change. No lies. That's his rebound.

Hahahah exactly, once again, Sakura proved that she was the REAL heroine ! it is funny to see how much SP failed as depicting Hinakittens as the true heroine..

Everyone in this movie is Hinata's puppets !  They're all there to make her dreams come true !

Movie makes 2 things if something wasn't popular before it had movie - after movie - it's popularity raises x2-x5. And if movie is like DB/Naruto/OP and etc  - it's only have it's audience, not really increasing anything, but maybe word "last" meant something, before people saw that it's HInata wank from SP all the way.
