I can't help but laugh at the audacity of those who once told us that we were wrong in our assertion that NH and SS becoming canon wouldn't reprehensibly damage the characters of both Naruto and Sakura. What were once great characters literally became the worst hero and heroine that I've ever laid my eyes on. Sakura literally became Karin, he'll she probably went worse then Karin. And good kittening lord, I don't need to say much about Naruto, do I?
At this point I can't decide whether Kishi is just a sexist a**hole and is mocking real Naruto fans by writing and approving these two pathetic excuses for characters, or if he was forced to make the ending he did and is railing against SP and NH/SS by approving all of this terrible characterization of his two leads. It's literally like he's saying that NS was the only way to go and is demonstrating why SS and NH are poison to the manga and his characters. Like Jesus kittening Christ are you kidding me.
Just wait until Sakura's book comes out and it's revealed that she was only as close with Naruto as she was because he could help her get Sasuke back, else they might have been as good of friends as her and Lee. Hell, the end of the manga already did a good enough job at trying to portray the former. Just wait.
SS/NH can be happy all they want, but neither that S or that N stand for Sakura or Naruto, because the trash we've been exposed to aren't Naruto and Sakura, and everyone knows it. And to think that this came out on the day that I decided to start a chapter of my fic, Ive been too disgusted today to even write. It's actually hard to even think about those two now. Where's that OP chapter when it's needed?
Well said. I questioned myself, how did they even can be happy with Naruto like this? With all his "lulz just for rivaly" what they can be happy about him? They are only fanatics of Hinata. And for Sakura, she may not be a perfect, but a good part of chapters was how she become someone more then blind fangirl, and at the end it's "sorry, for what?". Only saw Sakura as Sasuke's property. Well, Sasuke get out of this with a less damage, at best he was lost soul, that was in need of rescue, at worst - pscyho. But ne never was a saint-sage, how he portraited in the end.
