Who still around? I'll say Kakashi next. He was more or less safe in manga, but who to say he's not done yet.
 
Speaking of him, you know what I don't get. How did they come up with Kakashi being elected as Hokage in Kage Summit. I think Gaara spoke of him, which made me question why and surprised that he know. Not to mention, how did they even conclude Kakashi. I guess there was no other options or something. I know he's known but still. In fact, how others decide another village to be Hokage? What?

Wow Ns4life youre still asking yourself such questions, just realize the author is a full fledged moron and everything will make sense.

At this rate, it feels like they're just borrowing the characters and just make them anything they want.

15 years of consistent characterization and character development arent that important anyway.

Atlantis has been discovered and I wasn’t aware ? Do you know about the dragon triangle ? It's even more mysterious than the Bermuda Triangle but doesn’t get the same publicity, it's near Japan and the same kind of weird kitten happens there.
