If you ask me, the new generation isn't doing anything captivating. It all goes to the old generation once again. It doesn't make me care about the new generation with a weak subplot.

like i know kishi can still take a few stabs at her character, but because she's unconscious, he won't be able to make her say stupid crap like " i guess sasuke never wore glasses."

 

honestly sakura not showing up in the spin off, is the best treatment kishi can give her.

Yeah, it's stupid. A next generation is now obsessed with Sasuke (though not as a fangirl like Sakura, but as an abandoned daughter in Salada). ChouChou is obsessed with weight and appearance, her own and her fathers. And Naruto is farting around the highest office in the land worried about headbands. That's like the president worrying about there being enough pencils in the classrooms.

 

And explain to me exactly why Naruto has to leave his station to go chasing after Sasuke, AGAIN? Cause he just wants a little more information? Yes, and neither he nor Shika notice the 12yo with her hand almost on the door knob. 

 

The whole thing is weak.  

 

That's so stupid. I'm thrilled Kishi's still fixated on Sasuke. Didn't we get enough of that in the original? And the forced baby mama drama? Terrible. Wasn't ChooChoo happy being a big girl in 700? Am I out of line interpreting this as more typical sexist garbage from Kishi?

 

Like I said, I read the first chapter and was just interested enough in the humor to keep going. But you know what, it's just not worth it. And I'm just mad at myself because, to be honest, a tiny, tiny part of me held out hope that Part 3 would somehow offer Kishi a way to redeem himself. Shame on me.

I just read the chapter: So the rumor about Sarada's being an experiment was a mistranslation....Argh...too bad...

And the guy who talked to Sarada and Chouchou, is he the blue-haired boy from chapter one, but they seem to not really know each other....He looks a lot like Gaara, and since he's from another village...

This chapter is another proof that Sarada is the main character of the mini series...Still better than Bolt...
