It's now a freakin hardcore SHOJO.

Hey now there are alot of great shoujo mangas out there..

Naruto on the otherhand is a shonen manga who becomes a shojo wannabe but failed miserably.


And that SS talk lol.

I could attest to that myself. As i've been through that.. it is embarassing to admit but im kinda laugjing at myself now that i am over that stage in my life. C'mon guys its part of growing up lol.
To give you guys another point of view from a former ss fan..

Some girls do come in a certain phase in their life where they want a hot bad boy to take them away.. to where you ask? Idk either but its a place your hot bad boy will do stuffs to the innocent good girl that is you and tralala.. you two are in love and you are able to soften up your bad boy but he is still hot.

Have you guys ever heard of this shoujo trope called "kabe don" basically its the famous "wall smacking" to trap the girl. its how tough bishounen guys show their love. Lol well that was hot when you are 16 or so but at my age that position just shows me a great way to kick their patootles easily...or it was from a guy you actually love and youll just laugh at how ridiculous he is.

So yeah basically sasusaku is like a wish fulfillment.. or an attempt to project shoujo manga style into shounen manga..or you could say its a trap.

You see the bad boy..
then the lovestruck girl who knows nothing bout pain..and for some reason is in love with the said bad boy.
And then you have the famous love rival.. the one who completes the love triangle.
the super nice guy who will be friendzone even if he is better from the former guy.

Sheesh luckily hirunaka no ryuusei and other shoujo manga was able to get out of this trope.

Problem in Naruto is that aside from it being shonen or supposed to be shonen.. the fated friendzone guy is the freaking main character.. who actually has mutual development with the girl more than the she and her "first love"

And dont make me start with Hinata. The character that was suppose to be friendzoned in a nice way for her to actually grow out of her shortcomings and move on to finally develop herself outside the shadow of the person she admires but never truly loves or care (if ahe does she wouldve focus more about him rather than her vision of him)

And the main character who was suppose to be the one changing peoples hearts and mind should have proven his feelings for "the girl" who is insecure about herself. That point where he could tell her how much she helped him and admits to her that he himself think that he is unworthy of her too.. Not the other way around.

I effing watched Bayonetta 2 and had a freaking time. Nothing makes sense (in a good way) and  that's the beauty of it. Its so fun and over the top

 

I am rewatching Power rangers in Space. Really enjoying it and if you see it as a kids show its actually great. Dat opening The love stories still make more sense than Naruto.

 

A great way to get over Naruto.

Maybe wouldn't surprise me, I don't think that's a fault to get inspiration from other series especially one as good as Berserk but the scene from Berserk is infinitively better done and the relationship between Griffith and Casca is uncomparable to SS trash, tough they can be compared post eclipse. if Kishi really takes inspiration from Berserk then he really failed hard because even Corkus is better than any Naruto character.

In the same subject I also heard Kishi copied the chunin exam from the Hunter Exam in H X H and now that I read it I can see the similarities.

yes, he did. the sasuke character motive based on kurapika and his fighting style resemble killua.

the other is dragon ball.

akira character angst and tetsuo kaneda frenemy who resemble naru sasu.

slam dunk rivalry and character love triangle dynamic.

you could say kinikuman.

maybe 500 days of summer for romance resolution.

and a lot more. 

 

oh about hunterxhunter I think akatsuki use chimera ant as the inspiration. Kishi intent that akatsuki member to be a monster before change it.

the other is dragon ball.

oh kitten I didnt even realize the ressemblance between Sasuke and Killua it's so obvious now that you say it but man Killua is overall a far better character than Sasuke altough I liked Sasuke part 1 and early part 2 his character has been inconsistent since then and toxic for the characters around him, thats Kishi's fault not the character himself. Oh and the friendship between Killua and Gon is really touching compared to the artificial and forced bond between Naruto and Sasuke.
I dont see the Akira part Kaneda was ready to take down Tetsuo and their relationship was more complex and had a real history behind it.
Don't know about Slam Dunk tough.
Naah 500 days of Summer isn't as bad as the last and at least it can work in its own context, the Last is pure fanfic trash full of retcons and asspulls it stands on its own and nothing can rival it.
Well the dragon ball part is normal every mangaka takes inspiration from Dbz, Dbz is my childhood anime and even now I can't forget it I remember all the girls were onto Sailor Moon while I couldn't care about it and was only interested in Dbz and watched it every week with my brother Dbz was just that good a revolution for its time and the inspiration of almost all modern mangakas. I think but I may be wrong that I heard Kishi inspired himself a lot of Krilin for Naruto the character altough he has also characteristics of Goku.

I am under the impression that the writer and other staffs who worked under this movie are either unfamiliar with the story and themes of Naruto or just plain insensitive biased.

 

If they are going to take inspirations from other great works, then they should've done a better job than this kitten.

Why couldn't they use a better fanfic??

 

To be fair, most Naruto fanfic writers (doesn't matter if nh ss or ns).. actually knows how to write the characters better.

 

Naruto as a prick whose feelings are so feeble? even after portraying him as a kid who understand complex feelings?

ugh i'm tired pointing everything out... you guys know it.

 

They just take and show whatever is convenient to them and expecting viewers to easily accept whatever crap they try to give us.

 

 

For 15 years these people were selling you good meat, and suddenly revealed to you that it ain't meat but poop.

I would have liked to see how Tsunade deal with this psychological trauma, how her student, Sakura (who instead of that wanted to leave the village to be with her “tru luv” by the way) and also Shizune help her through it. But no, we see her being all young (and here, as stated by Naruto, it is clearly NOT the case) and kinda happy in the ex-kage reunion.

P.S: I also don’t like how Kakashi is deciding to become Hokage because of his feeling of guilt for Obito.

Naruto, you've gotta be kittening kidding me! Calling Tsunade "granny" is one thing, but calling her unsuitable for the position of the Hokage is rudeness on its highest level. Japanese fans are right: Naruto is really a scumbay now. I'm glad that Hinata didn't get together with the Naruto we know and love but this despicable and respectless version of him.
