That's Hiromu Arakawa for you. You might wanna check out her other work The Heroic Legends of Arslan (anime version from 2015) even though she's not credited with the official writing.

On a scale of 1-10 rate the Anime you're currently watching

So I've started the original Full Metal Alchemist anime and it's better than I thought. I like how Lust is introduced early in episode one and how they talk more about religion and God. So far, I give it a 7/10.

Guilty Crown -- 4/10; Yeah so, I just finished this one and I'm left wishing I hadn't wasted my time. Execution left much to be desired here, it was basically a mish-mash of ideas and plot that was just a mess and I was hard pressed to care a whit about any of the characters. It was, in my opinion, absolutely terrible.
On the flip side of that:
Kino no Tabi: The Beautiful World -- 9/10; I just adore it. It's a short, fourteen episode slice-of-life anime based on a light novel series and gosh, is it amazing. I just love the way to sets itself up as something that on the surface seems pretty simple and straightforward and then takes you totally off guard with its strange, thought provoking, and sometimes deeply disturbing look at human nature. I imagine some might be turned off by the art style, but it's so very worthwhile.

Just finished Attack on titan and i'll give it a 10 out of 10. That show is intense.
I like Attack on Titan but I'd give it a 8/10. A bit too gory and not enough story.

Fullmetal Alchemist: Conqueror of Shamballa - 6/10
I just rewatched this movie for the first time in a long time. Since last viewing it, I have rewatched FMA 2003 several times, so the series was fresh in my mind when I viewed the film. This movie kept me a lot of company when I was younger. I loved it to death, watched it tons of times. I was eager to see how well it held up, now that I've started judging things more critically. Unfortunately, as predicted, it didn't hold up nearly as well as the original series did, and doesn't come remotely close to reaching the same quality.
This movie had a lot of great ideas to play around with. It had great animation, a solid opening act, a great dub, and was well-directed. The new setting to explore was interesting and had a lot of potential, some of which was lived up to. Even so, the movie had a lot of issues. Characters were not fleshed out enough, and several things that happened felt weird and had a lack of emotional payoff as a result. Some mechanics felt flimsy and really stretched believability. The villain was poorly developed. The movie also didn't further the original series' themes in any notable way, making its purpose for existing even more questionable. Even some of the characters carried over from the original series didn't feel at home in the movie, like they belonged or had much to contribute; they weren't done much justice. All of this adds up to a severe lack of tension in the climax, and a lack of general payoff.
Overall, as predicted, the original 51-episode series is much better off without this movie. Shamballa was an unnecessary sequel, and it doesn't do too well in justifying its existence. If you've seen FMA 2003 and are curious about this movie, I wouldn't necessarily say to avoid it. There are certainly good things about it. Just don't go in expecting something of the same caliber as FMA 2003.

Plastic Memories 9/10 It's pretty standard for romances but has themes of death and the question of how do you define who or what is human that I really enjoy. May move to a 10/10 when I finish.
I now bump Boku no Hero Academia to a 10/10 due to how it interests me.
Who are the best characters from the original series in your opinion? Like, is
Envy really's Ed's brother?[
Ed Al, Envy. I also like Roy and a few others cause their personalities in the 2003 Anime is a great dynamic to the manga/Brotherhood

Oh, that anime. I was thinking about starting it... P-1 Studios sometimes is really good, and then they just fail epically. I watched Glasslip from them last year, but it was soooooo bad (don't watch it).
Nagi no Asukara can get very sad I heard, and the second opening is one of my favorites!

You should!! But finish Gintama first XD.
I don't think I watched one of their anime before.. But this is really interesting.
This is one of the animes my cousin cried to XD. He told me it's a good anime to watch + there'll be a lot as sadness..
Haven't heard the second one yet, but I don't really like the first opening.

I'm one episode 120 right now, and love it. Marathoning Gintama is so worth it.
For Gintama: 9-9.5/10
Wonderful gag anime, but the serious arcs are well done in my eyes.
Oh, Nagi no Asukara will get sad. Just wait until you get towards the half of the serious. Don't watch the second opening yet though... It's kind of a spoiler if you ask me. I only know that much b/c I was spying on the forums XD

Giving Gintama 9/9.5 is understandable. The series is just amazing, I can’t wait to fully start it (I only read some chapters + saw the episodes)
NoA is done amazingly. I’m really in love with the animation. I can’t wait to finish it, It really seems like an amazing story, and the characters are loveable XD. What forum??<3

Time of Eve (Eve no Jikan): 8/10
Really enjoyed this anime. I've lately learned that I'm a sucker for animes and mangas dealing with android stories (reading the manga Pluto right now). This ONA series is only 6 episodes long, and are usually only 15min-17 minutes long per episode, with the exception of last episode. Nothing oh so spectacular happens plotwise that changes the entire society ; it's rather reminiscent of a slice-of-life anime that explores the backgrounds of a few characters and highlights the need for company, not only for humans but for androids. For the androids especially, we get to see how they can escape the reality for a while and can act "human" themselves, even if it is only for a little while. The only issue I have is that it's so short. I sometimes felt like this show cared my about style than substance.
Recommend this anime who are recently watching Plastic Memories or came of from Death Parade. Don't expect anything spectacular though.
