DJ Lee, one of our members here, has FINALLY updated her VERY GOOD NaruSaku fic, Painful Reality. It's been at least 1 year since she last updated this story! HURRAH! XD!

I know that you said that she is one of our members but do you know if she is gonna make it a NaruSaku or SasuSaku because I see that the readers are pretty divided between the pairings and some authors tend to go with the pairing the readers like the most even if the authors themselves don't like it.

I've never read a fic that there were almost equal amount of NaruSaku and SasuSaku readers, the ones I usually read the readers are 100% NaruSaku fans. It pisses me off what some of the reviews say like "pls make this a SasuSaku. i promise you that a lot would like this better as a sasusaku than a narusaku". I hate it because for me to SasuSaku to happen that means that Sakura should act like that shallow annoying little B---- that she used to be and I don't understand how people would like that because I can't stand her acting that way (I used to hate Sakura but I started liking her after the time skip).

One last question, do you know if she'll keep updating or will it be like another year til her next one?

Sorry about that, the summary was from before I became an official NaruSaku fan. I can most definitely say that the story will be NaruSaku . I was just too lazy to fix the summary, so sorry for that.

Haha, this last update was more of a spur of a moment thing after going on Live Chat the other day. I doubt that I'll get any more ideas to post up a new chapter any time soon considering how long it took for the current update...

Thanks for the rec murdoc Was planning on writing out the first draft of chapter 5 but came down with a bug last night- ugh what a way to spend Valentines Day. It's kind of sapped my creative urge, but I'm enjoying doing other fannish things in between times I need to lay back down and rest. Hopefully I'll throw it off tonight and work will be slow tomorrow so I can do that first draft of chapter 5.

You're welcome. I'm happy that you will soon start working on chapter 5. I still haven't read chapter 4, I know that you have it already in your live journal but you said that it hasn't been checked by your beta reader so I prefer to wait till she does it and you post it in fanfiction.net (but maybe I won't resist the temptation and I will read it tonight)

Now that Naruto Shippuden started, do you guys think that there will be more NaruSaku fics or less?

There might be more because with Naruto Shippuden there's gonna be more NaruSaku fans to write fics. But at the same time there might be less because there won't be that much need to write/read fics. I started reading fics when the fillers started because I couldn't stand watching them. Now that Shippuden started I don't think I'll be reading as much fan fiction.

Kakashi Junior by Digifruit an evangelion one shots author. This is his first Naruto fanfic and he did a very good job.

The famous Mizukage by Dragon6. He/She has confirmed in the last chapter that the story will be Narusaku but there is a long way to go until the two of them are together.

Also he/she has published a new narusaku story that it is called Only Human. It looks even better than Mizukage.

It's Shivakashi's new story, sequel to Millenium,
but her other story, Experiments does fit, (as she explained) at the end to fit with this new one.
(it doesn't hurt to give it a read though, good fic.)

It looks to be a Narusaku, but it could end up having no pairing.

There's been a lot of confusion with this fic. It's NOT the sequel to "Experiments", read the Author Notes, It clearly says "Sequel to Millennium", she has another fic called "Millennium". I think she only updated Experiments (although she really didn't change anything) so all the fans could see that she had a new story.

No It's not.

For the last Chapter of "Experiments" I wrote a HUGE review about what I thought it was gonna happen in the sequel and Shivakashi sent me an e-mail telling me that I was a little off with my predictions. She explained me a little bit what was gonna happen and it's not what's happening in this New fic.

And besides where does it say that it's the sequel to "Experiments", just because it's another Naruto fic doesn't mean it's the sequel to her other one.

Edit 1: Now that I think about it I'm starting to doubt if this is the sequel or not, maybe you guys are right. I guess I'll have to wait and see if what she told me in the e-mail happens in this fic.

Edit 2: Yep, you guys were right. I just got an e-mail from Shivakashi and she told me that it is the sequel to Experiments.

I'm a little pissed off, I hate crossovers. Experiments was such an awesome fic and it was also kinda believable, but now with Inuyasha or Harry Potter It's not.

er... i usually hate crossovers too. but i just skimmed through "Millenium" and its prequels.... and you know what ? after reading the first chapter of Troika i know that im DEFINATELY going to enjoy this fic. Millenium was amazing (atleast the parts i've read so far.) and i defiantely trust that Shivakashi can pull this triple trouble crossover
for now though i'm just gonna finish the Millenium and its prequels properly ^^

Yes it was. The writer is planning a Sequel, but he/she told me that it'll take a while until it's finished.

Thanks! I just finished my first draft of chapter 5. I initally thought this chapter would wrap up that arc, but the Hokage ceremony ran on longer than I thought it would and it just felt right to end that chapter at the end of that ceremony. The next chapter should be the last of that arc though with the wedding reception. I have some humorous things planned for that chapter.
