Yeah I gotta admit Asta's voice is not NEARLY as annoying in English. But of course I don't mind the Japanese voice, it is only that his hyperactive yelling is grating to hear

I really liked this chapter even saying great... It was interesting that Asta's team despite getting tied against Langri's team they still lost.  This could definetely be planting of the seed for Asta's character to develop that's for sure. Luck's fight was quick, but i think worked in alot of way.  Also the fact that we're already at the finals with Team Yuno vs Team P  i'm kinda looking forward to it.

Given the vow Noelle made i would say that most likely they'll win, but on the off chance Team Yuno looses it'll give both Yuno and Asta something in common when it comes to losing, and striving to be better to reach the wizard king.   For Noelle, I mean she is on the same team as Asta so you can i'd say it'll give more bonding moments between them.. Maybe even one of them tries to cheer the other up.

So not only is episode 1 coming out on sunday, but also Episode 2 which means we won't be too far behind from the subs which is a good sign.

Exactly. SHIP TEASE!!!!! Need more between them. Because with all the ship Tease Asta and Noelle have, I don't think it's a secret that Tabata-sensei will put them together. At least I hope because Asta has little to no ship tease with Mimosa or Rebecca

Anyway, pretty psyched for this week's episode because this is WHERE it gets interesting

All jokes aside, the latest arc has been fun. It's the arc that can help to diverse the series further. I hope it's not just because of Tournament Arc = Fun. This type of momentum has to keep going for a long period of time. The older arcs were decent but not exactly "must" or "explosive." I wouldn't say I was bored, but it didn't convert me as a fan and still hasn't. In due time, it can change.

I finally got around to watching Episodes 1 & 2 in English dub, and Funimation you guys did a fantastic job.. if i ever go back to revisit the anime it's going to be through the dub all the way.  For now I'm still gonna watch the subs because I'm curious how  their gonna adapt the rest of the episodes they've licensed for Black Clover.

Wait am i joining two episodes of the Black Clover anime back to back?  

 

I guess so,  Asta much like last week didn't sound like a chainsaw going off like he did in episodes 1-3 lol That and I liked the little extension the studio did for Yuno's fight that was actually kinda neat to see.   The episode much like last week only adapted 1 chapter in this case it was chapter 3.  SO the pacing itself for me anyway was fine for the most part, and if it's like this for the rest of the anime then i wouldn't really find too many things to gripe at it like i kinda did with episodes 1-3 in terms of pacing.   That opening is starting to get kinda catchy though, and it might just be me, but it's nice.  

 

Next week I'm really looking forward cause Black Bulls, and the first official appearance of Noelle!!

and it will take another TWO MORE to get the plot going and we alre already at the halfway point for the season. WAY TO GO SP, You probably shot yourself in the foot with your so called  "next Naruto"

 

Anyway I watched the first 2 episodes of the dub and while Asta's voice isn't as grating to listen to, he 's still hyper-actively shouting so in that regard I see little  difference in either performance. I really just think that Gakuto Kajiwara makes Asta sound like an annoying motor engine that won't shut up and turn off, maybe that 's the impression that people get and it annoys them. Anyway there's nothing wrong with Gakuto's performance to me but it is true he gives Asta a somewhat annoying voice, but justified as he is relatively new

 

P.S. It should NOT take this long to introduce the main character's  (future) wife

This arc has definitely been alot of fun not going to lie especially for a shounen tournament arc.  Also can I just say that I called it just after reading last week's chapter. So next chapter is gonna be the aftermath to this arc, and then we'll start with a new arc which will be interesting.  As for arc comparisons to the previous arcs we've gotten, I'm gonna wait for next chapter since that  is gonna be the one that completely wraps up this arc.
