Well, that's obviously just so Kishi can use it as an excuse to make Sasuke his teacher. I bet the only reason Hinata was given lightning, was so that it could somewhat make sense that Bolt has the same chakra nature as Sasuke.

Yep, and this will be at least one thing Bolt inherited from his mother, cause God knows otherwise he's just a naruto clone, a cheap one at that.

You don't need sharingan to use chidori. Sharingan is need so can use it perfectly.

I am just going to post the response I did to someone else.....

You know, I wasn't even thinking about the Hinata passing down her lightning through genetics because honestly, how do we even know she is lightning? What's that? Databooks? Well, let's be honest how accurate are the databooks now? I mean, how many times did the databooks say that Naruto was in love with Sakura and Sakura's feelings for Sasuke were changing...and several other points that were retconed. Until I see Hinata use lightning in the manga or anywhere else....I am going to assume she doesn't have lightning element.

Also, isn't it kind of sad that Bolt uses the chidori because he hangs out more with Sasuke than Naruto.? What next Salad learns the Rasengan? Don't you think that this is how pathetic this has all gone? Think about this too, the chidory is actually inferior to the Rasengan AND in order to use it fully you need a Sharingan. Remember how they said in Naruto manga how the chidori is so slow and predictable that even the most competent ninja could dodge it and get a free hit. Bolt doesn't have a sharingan.

Of course, Kishi will probably retcon that too to something like "Sasuke managed to make a version anyone can use and don't need a sharingan to perfect it."

It's not that she uses lightning element, it's that her affinity is for lightning. Most people's chakras naturally lean towards a certain nature.

Oh which there is no indication of her being an affinity for it in the manga itself what so ever. If her affinity is for it, then she can use it. Just like how Naruto uses wind and Sasuke is lightning and Fire.

They better mentioned the affinity because fans and newcomers can't guess it or rather shouldn't. I'm sick of vague info.

Going by this, this is pretty much the final farewell to everything using this movie. It's like Kishi wants to pull Rocky Balboa, dismissing The Last (Rocky 5). That said well I now see the real objective and it's not using the new generation as the new stars, rather using them to make the old characters to remember the days and time to pass it for good. The villain is most likely the one that Kaguya built upon. Basically, Naruto and Sasuke are the main show while Boruto and Sarada aren't really but more like witness the last going.

While it's easy to top The Last and believe me, it really is, will this movie be good? Well, Boruto isn't that focus, so that's misleading. If anything, he probably will as in lesson learn, but not taking over as in taking out the villain and what not. Naruto and Sasuke are the one to take him out. Now it all make sense. It's not about new generation, rather use them for plot points, since Naruto now needs a feeling of Rocky 5 story or whatever.

Bottom line, the movie is made for them, not new generation. So why end the series? I don't know. Maybe because it was there to say if you don't want more, at least you already ended. The series hasn't really gotten better after the end. The movie ending most likely won't be the ending to change all (examples like deaths, character drastic change, etc.), so I won't expect anything, including Naruto Gaiden. Quite honestly, I'm disappointed. Honestly, I should be thankful that it will just be better than The Last, but that's all I got.

Yeah it makes Metal gear soild 2 looks like a work of art and trust me I know how many fans hate that game, good its just sad to see how bad Naruto has now become it really is and all for the Hinata fandome.

So if your saying that the chakra natures of Hinata are inaccurate because we never saw it in the manga, does this mean the chakra natures for the other characters revealed in the databook are invalid as well?

Minato was revealed to have wind nature, but we never saw him use it. I guess that means he doesn't have wind chakra because we never saw him use any wind jutsus

She CAN use it but that doesn't mean she will. Naruto's affinity is for wind of course, but he didn't use it before shippuden. Why? Because he didn't know how, he didn't know about it at all, just like Hinata probably doesn't. And she doesn't have to, because she can use the Hyuuga clan's taijutsu, with her byakugan. Sorry. I am show not tell kind of guy. Unless Hinata shows some lightning affinity, then databooks are nullinvoid. If Kishimoto doesn't even follow his own databooks, then why should I?

Remember when the databooks artobooks(?) said Salad was Sasuke's and Sakura's kid and how Kishimoto put traits of her mother, Sakura, into her? Oh I guess...the ambiguity is there since "adopted mother" is just as good too, right?

Environment's important for a child's upbringing too. At least Sakura can admit to having the "privilege" of moulding another person's spawn to her own unique emotional specifications. That's what's important to SS in the end, right? Not the genetics of the spawn.

Mention the chakra natures?  I doubt that will happen.  Kishi probably won`t see it as important enough

If assumption equals fact now, then I can assume Bolt is actually Naruto and Sakura's kid since, by what the manga has given with the story elements, Naruto had a drunken affair that he can't remember and Sakura was pregnant with Bolt. Too ashamed to admit it herself, Sakura decides to give the kid to Hinata and asked her to promise to keep his real birth a secret. Since Naruto has been oblivious to pratically everything, it wouldn't be hard to make him believe Bolt was Hinata's son.

And seeing how genetics really only apply when Kishimoto wants, or apparently remembers how they work, then it would also explain a lot more than just saying "Naruto and Hinata had passionate sex." As for Himawarii...well, Naruto had a lot of drunken nights.

And guess what....nothing can prove me wrong yet....

...........Yet, I don't see Sakura in Salad. What molding did she put in? All of the traits Salad has I can easily associate it with any of the other people like Karin, Sasuke, Hinata, and several other traits that Sakura doesn't really have. Are you gonna tell me that Salad is now going to show tsundere tendencies to Bolt and boyish crushes on the "cool guy in her school?"

Some studies can even show that personality traits can be passed down through genetics. Let's be real here, we know very little how genetics works. I have never been with my father for 26 years and he never raised me, but I still do have some personality traits belonging to him. Like my temper I exhibit. Our tempers are exactly the same since even before I knew him.



Here is an even bigger question....why can't Kishimoto just prove it? It's not that hard. Hell, just make a scene where Naruto and Hinata teach Bolt about elemental affinities and then have Bolt find out his through those pieces of paper...
It wouldn't be that difficult of scene to write....

Oh sorry, we are talking about Kishimoto here....ambiguity is a BIG word play here.

I was mostly being sarcastic, James. I haven't read the spin-off so whatever relationship Sasuke's spawn has with Sakura is a mystery to me. What I wouldn't expect to see, however, is that child falling in lust with Naruto's spawn because it's not in keeping with the stipulations of most girls in this manga who try to a pursue a boy - ignorant selfish masochistic obsession for the pretty boy with a loner streak whom they know little about and may have been abused by at some point in the past. Moreover, if Kishi and these fans have any shred of consistency in their bones, they'll pray for those two to remain apart in any romantic context since their personalities both fall under the same category of being upset with parental issues, outspoken, brazen, and competitive all-around.

 

People were quick to denounce NS as being "Kushina x Kushina" and the powers that be described it as being difficult to write for because of those traits. Well I hope they realise that "BS" is precisely like that, except with an actual competitive strain that muddies it with qualities of SN. No subservient moe dogs who bow to the whim of their male superior are present in that hypothetical. If they continue to vouch for it and hope that it becomes true then I believe they've earned the right to be called hypocrites.
