I think after this war arc, (with the exception of naruto & sasuke) all konoha 11 will become jounin. Thus disbanding team 7,8, & 10.
If part 3 truly happen, kakashi become hokage is like retiring him from manga action.

I never said Kakashi would definitively become Hokage, just that that's another possible meaning of Kakashi's statement. And we don't know if Kakashi will be Hokage in the new movie. But if it's canon and he is the sixth Hokage in it, Kishi could always do an epilogue in the manga that takes place after the movie, showing Naruto as the seventh Hokage.

That brings up a very important question. Who will lead Team 7 if its original commander is desk-bound? Sasuke isn't returning to Konoha without an absolute shift to Naruto's herd mentality - something which isn't going to happen until the final arc of the story. The fact that he's an international criminal with a serious rap sheet dampens his homecoming prospects further. With Naruto being groomed to take up the leadership mantle after Kakashi, there won't be a permanent return to the original team make-up until further down the road when Naruto has retired. 

 

Rocci beat me to it. It's not too likely of a theory, but Team 7 might not even be reconstituted. Another timeskip brings the possibility for promotions and reassignment into question. Kishi has made Naruto's lack of a push up the ladder a gimmick of his, even when his peers around him are all being moving up to higher positions of responsibility and power, he's still at the lowly post of a Genin technically. There's a good chance he won't receive a formal promotion until the manga's end where he bypasses the intermediary levels and skips straight to Hokage. The flip side is that Sakura gets promoted to Jonin, which has a strong chance to happen considering her leadership talent and powerful skill-set as Tsunade's number 1 disciple. Kishi also admitted in an interview that she would be the most suitable member of Team 7 for instructing young shinobi - this leads me to believe that she might either be teaching prospective medics or leading a team of her own. 

 

All of that would leave just Naruto to fill in the gap for Team 7. Kakashi might be able to have Yamato and Sai permanently assigned to Naruto, but who wants to see Naruto going out on missions with just Sai and Yamato? They're important members, but it's not the same without at least one other original member there whom Naruto has known since childhood to help reinforce the old school element.

"Healing this whoe war arc" still not much impressive as what Naruto, Sasuke and Kakashi done so far.
In terms of overall feats.
 
You keep using "double standard" i think you really dont know what it really means because just spouting this all the time doesnt nullify my argument, Sasuke was only 1 time in a damsel in distress, Sakura was several times in damsel in distress situations just on this arc and two times just on this battle alone, despite vowing she would not be a damsel in distress again.
She's put alongside three strong guys who are strong due to inheritance, gifts and reincarnation.

I wont discuss people who negates canon evidence.
 
It doesnt matter if they went though, i can use your same logic and say that only Naruto was successfull because he convicend Obito to give up, they didnt beat Madara neither Kaguya or Black Zetsu.
 
The only double standard i see here is people criticizing Sakura haters and acting like them when it comes to Sasuke.

I criticize the reaction towards her feats, Sakura has a lot of problems and on this chapter was greatly reviewed by ramenanimtsu by pointing out how anticlimatic was the combo, Naruto/Sasuke/Sakura did just ot show they can do "teamwork".
But suddenly people were like "Sakura awesome" i felt like in an NH forum when people praises Hinata when she says "Naruto-kun".
I would even understand if Sakura was a side-character but she's a main heroine she deserves much better treatment.


He pulled the 7 bijuu's with Sasuke's help and still you tell me to re-read the manga, giving credit solely to Naruto on all the occasions.
His combo with Tobirama didnt worked since he healed himself.
I'm just applying your logic, it's so irrational that literally negates everything the characters done so far just because it didnt worked and at the same time giving Naruto a free pass.

 
For me Sasuke was more productive than Sakura on the arc so far, that's my opinion based on what they did on the arc.
 

"Twisting" things, it's you negating a canon evidence, he did made her jump by rendering her dimension travelling useless by going to use Amateratsu.
 

It doesnt change the fact the kyuubi has a conscience, it doesnt do thing just because it's an animal, it has reasons and it killed Naruto's parents because they decided to seal him.
The same logic applies to Oro and Sasuke, on both cases Sasuke and Obito are the responsible of their behavior.

Healing instead of always failing way more impressive but the again only flashy jutsus apply to you

Wonder why Kakashi called it their last mission as team 7. Does he expect them to die after defeating Kaguya, or something else?

I just saw it as Kishi hammering in that this is their final battle. Kind of like how Naruto said that it'll be the last time he ever used the harem jutsu.

Inst the dream of Sakura and Naruto to see Team 7 reconstituited?
I think it's going to happen because the way parallels the fact Sasuke is going to have his ideas changed by Naruto.
Allowing him to return if any Kakashi's speech was just for drama.

Yamato was only a provisory memeber as long Naruto needed help to control the fact his bijuu goes out of control.

Btw is it just me or ever since they reunited again in 675 Sasuke appears to be the third wheel in the team ? It sure does feel like that  with the recent chapters and in the beginning of 675 .

The thing is Sasuke has always been the third wheel. This is one of Kishi's magnificent writing skills. Until now he never actually showed how amazing Team 7 is.

He always eluded to it, just like he does with the Naruto and Sasuke bond.

 

We've never seen Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi actually working together as a team. We've seen different combinations between them such as Naruto and Sasuke, Naruto and Sakura, Naruto and Kakashi. Their teamwork was good when only with two members participated. As soon as you add the third member all hell breaks loose.

Yeah pretty much that Sasuke just doesn't fit with T7 as a whole , its funny though how Kishi made him work well with Taka right of the bat but never with T7 like you said  after so long this is their first real teamwork  . It makes me wonder what is Kishimoto exactly trying to show with T7 what is the point of it when after 689 chapters they finally pulled it of even though Sasuke barely did anything in here contributive except closing on Kaguya thanks to Naruto but I digress .  

 

I just can't see them together after everything that has happened and after the Kage Summit  and this chapter that this is the last of them I really think that the message is that  no matter what you can't severe bonds no matter how awful they are so I think it will be Sasuke just accepting the "bond" with them and going on his own separate way with Taka as his support  I think this would be an surprised ending and a good one for them besides that I can't imagine him happy in the village where his clan was destroyed  IMO.

True true. But the problem is that the only mission Team Seven has been given in the entire manga was the Zabuza one. They all did work together pretty well there. This is the first team after the wave arc that all members of Team Seven are on the same side in a fight.
