I think Gaara just jinxed the outcome by saying the solution now, before reaching Minato.  This sounds like one of those initial plans that end up failing.  Also, we had that situation with Kushina.  When Kurama says it should save Naruto, it doesn't mean it actually will.  No one has really survived an extraction.  No one really knows if anything will work; they just go with what seems the most logical with what's available.  Also, what would be the point of losing Kurama in the first place if Naruto is just going be a jinchuuriki again right afterwards?  Really. we have no idea if Naruto will really be saved this way.

 

We know Madara is basically heading in same direction as Gaara now.  With his speed, he'll be there in no time.  They will have to save Naruto now, while watching out for Madara.  That's what has me so excited, because I have no idea how this will progress.  As Gaara reaches Minato, he and Sakura notice the standoff between him, Kakash, Obitoi and Black Zetsu.  The four of them notice Naruto.  Then, all of a sudden Madara appears as the Jubi Jinchuuriki.  With all these people gathered, how will things progress?  That's what I'm mostly looking forward to.  There are so many possibilities.

 

One of the things I'm looking forward to is to see the distinction between the Yin and Yang halves.  Minato didn't just cut Kurama's power in half, but specifically cut it into Yin and Yang.  I'm hoping to see the difference between them ability-wise.  It's possible the Yin half has special abilities that the Yang half doesn't and vice versa.  They are essentially the same being, but they are two halves of that being.

I can't help myself but read and read again this chapter.

It's like a liberation.

Such a long time that Sakura haven't been this awesome... it's really great to witness her fitting her character again.

 

Mangastream translation is a lot different ,in my opinion.

I hope we'll soon be able to translate from the raw.

 

To me, it's pretty obvious it's Kabuto near Sasuke.

Sasuke will need a very good medic to revive himself, and Kishimoto can't just use taka to revive him like last time.

It must be something new.

Sasuke needs a medic as good as Sakura, and it only can be Kabuto IMO.

 

I'm dying to see Minato/Sakura interactions...

This chapter is a huge set-up... the first meeting between Sakura and Minato was a set-up too.

 

I can't help but think about Sakura despising herself about the "little" things she can "only do" for Naruto.

How far she's going now...

She must have study and study hard after the bridge events in order to be more effective...

 

Still, there is one thing that is not really logical : why the kitten Sakura doesn't use her Byakugo ? Why the kitten Tsunade still have it too and saying she's out of chakra ? Ok plot armor but still Kishi could just have NOT drawn the Byakugo on Tsunade... and for Sakura it's really anti-logical. Or maybe Kishi is keeping it for later... when she will really be completely out of chakra...

I believe that the place she sliced Naruto open was a medically strategic move. I think she was able to slip her hand under his rib cage and under his lungs in order to grab his heart.

 

Now in the last panel you can plainly see that she made the cut right in the middle of his Ribcage.

I think some people agree that this surgery was bizarre.

Bizarre and unsettling at the same time. It crosses a very sensitive boundary that shouldn't be exceeded under most circumstances. Perhaps it wouldn't be so troubling if it weren't for the identity of the surgeon being Naruto's closest friend and romantic interest since childhood. I think of the operation more in terms of how a soldier whose chest erupted from an explosive round would be struggling just to prevent his internal organs from disgorging with his bare hands. The horror and unbelievability of the scene just makes the context difficult to reconcile; especially given the nature of the person who is actually trying to save your life. It would probably be different if someone like Shizune or Tsunade carried out the procedure because they don't have that intimate connection to Naruto.
 

Sakura has no chakra anyway, how would she be able to perform Chiyo's jutsu in the first place? Not to mention she doesn't even know it.

Chiyo had practically no available chakra left when she used the jutsu. She was sacrificing her essential energy, i.e., lifeforce chakra. Sakura could easily forfeit her own life force to resurrect Naruto in a symbolical duplicate act of what Chiyo did as her words echo in her mind about protecting those closest to her.

Moreover, Madara is currently on his way to Kakashi and Minato as well to regain his other eye and probably seal the other half of Kurama into himself. We can guess on who will likely arrive first but it's pointless either way. The power of the Jubi including Hashirama's Sage Mode, his Mokuton ninjutsu, and the Rinnegan make him the most dangerous man in existence besides Hagoromo himself. If he wants Kurama, he'll take it and there's nothing that Minato, Kakashi, Gaara, or Sakura in all of her desperation can do to stop him.

I believe that might be what Kishi is setting up with the current circumstances. To have all of the bijuu coalesce to form a perfected Jubi. It's consistent with Hagoromo's premonition that they would all become one again.

And yeah, I'm excited for more Minato/Sakura interaction. God, so far this volume has been a trip. I wonder how the second half will go. Hopefully just as good.

I highly doubt Kishimoto would've ended the great pairing war in this chapter, especially with Naruto in a comatose state.

I dont think it goes away. It takes 3 years to make it apear so even if you use all the chakra it should still be there.

I am not a SK shipper but its obvious Karin awakened the new power to save sasuke like he had done for her. Its really not hard to understand.

I just woke up and oh kitten! I really have to comment on this chapter. 

 

I'm really glad that despite knowing that the Kyuubi was extracted from Naruto she didn't cry but instead got more determined to save him and make his dream come true. This was more romantic and heart-warming to me rather than the CPR itself. 

 

lol I can't wait to find out Naruto's reaction when he wakes up and finds out she gave him CPR.

Gaara said medical ninjutsu won't work this time. All the chakra in the world won't help, so Sakura resorted to something else.

 

What she is doing now requires incredible skill. She must be 100% precice when pumping his heart, with the exact same speed and force. She's great : ) Minato will notice. Don't be surprised if he pulls a Yamato, let's just hope he can finish the sentence before Naruto wakes up. : P

The weakness in this kind of argument is that you essentially say because others have attached meaning to this, Kishimoto does too. It's an assumption without any evidence to support it.

I figure everyone would love CPR if they weren't half dead because if they are not "half dead" it is probably not CPR.

Some weeks ago, I was thinking it would be a HUGE plot-twist if Naruto would loose his part of Kurama to gain his father's part and go find back the part he always knew with the help of the other new part.

I guess this is what will happen !

 

I guess his father's part will have some differences of soul, and hopefully some different abilities.

 

It's funny how NaruHina's fans keep yelling "it's only CPR" and at the same time editing Kishi's panel with Sakura performing M-to-M to Naruto by adding Hinata in her place... LOL

Also, so much people are saying that "Sakura is a little useful this time"... or " Sakura is not completely useless this time".

God... they are so blinded by their biased brains...

Everyone here knows pretty well that : if Hinata had done 10% of what Sakura had always done for Naruto, they would praise her sooo much ! God they are so biased !

Well I'm not surprised the Gaara was going to Minato, that part was obvious the moment Kurama was extracted.

 

Wow, Sakura literally holds Naruto's heart in her hands, that alone really makes me happy, even if by some slim chance Naruto and Sakura don't end up together, the fact the Naruto survives will be because Sakura literally was breathing for him and his heart was beating because of her. If you think about it, thousands of lives have been saved by Naruto but who has saved Naruto life? Iruka in the first chapter, Tsunade during the battle with Kabuto, and who else? Sakura? That's something Hinata fans can never have.

 

Karin has the Chakra chains? No fair!!! Come on Kishi give Naruto some of that Uzumaki bloodlimit goodness. He has high chakra reserves but so do all other Bijuu hosts, he didn't die after Kurama was extracted but Kushina not only survived but was crawling and talking straight after, not only that she managed to use her abilities and hold down a full powered Kurama, and pass on her final words to her son...AND have enough chakra leftover that could be sealed inside her son so she could meet him later on, and she did that straight after giving birth as well. Now Karin can use the chains, something that according to Kushina was rare even within her clan. The Uzumaki Clan is freaking awesome, why does Naruto's power-up have to be related to outside sources like Kurama (though technically that is internal as he is sealed within Naruto) and his Sage powers, come on let us see some awesome Uzumaki abilities...infact go back to Orichimaru and let hm explain what he was thinking when Karin awakened her powers. It's a bit sad to say but as of right now, Karin is on top of the list of most powerful female ninja's, she can sense chakra, heal herself and others and use chakra chains capable of holding down Bijuu, just think if she could actually fight she'd be a monster.

 

Lets face it if Sasuke and Karin survive, that pairing is a given, Sasuke ideal women is Karin, she's from a strong bloodline, she is devoted to him, and most importantly is useful to him.  His second goal is to revive is clan, and Karin would fit the bill perfectly, not only that she belongs to the same clan as the only person Sasuke has (apart from his family) has ever truelly respected...Naruto.

 

Maybe i'm reading too much into it, but I think these pass few chapter Kishi has stopped playing his pairing games and is telling us who he plans to pair with who.

 

Btw: How did Karin make it to Sasuke so quickly? She's the only person on the battlefield who is barefoot so I can't see it being anyone else.

When Tsunade was first shown releasing the seal and using the Creation Rebirth technique, the seal disappeared.

I don't think that person is Karin. She doesn't know where Sasuke is because she can't sense him anymore, and I believe she'll find him but not so fast. I think her pajamas reaches down to her ankles too, it's not that short.
