That is only one scenario that is possible but has no back up just because matrix has something similar like an oracle or a prophecy.
Besides thaf matrix has no dream world where everyones wish come true.

its not meant to be EXACTLY like it but some of the concepts can come to pass I guess . I really would like to see Naruto's love be put to the test .

I like the reveal. If it's one thing to be a God of everything, then might as well be a god of life symbol, which happens to be a tree. It's always like that in folklore, so why not. Plus, it does make it feel like things are becoming twisted, much like in FMA, the ritual was completed and you just see a creature grasping the moon. Things in media need to get twisted once in a while.

So it seems that not everyone is happy about the reveal that we got in this chapter. Personally I sort of like it, I was hoping for something better but the explanation we got is okay it works. It's a lot better that Sakura's contrived power-up or Tobi's reveal which was horribly executed or the retcon we got with the "Reaper Death Seal" or Izanami or any another retcon and contrived thing we got so far. This chapter answered some questions but raised others at the same time. For example why didn't the Juubi attack the princess when she stole the fruit? Why didn't the Juubi attack Kaguya before she gave birth to the Rikudou Sennin? Why wait until someone can stop you? How did the humans knew that eating that fruit would give you powers? And on and on. Maybe we will get an answer maybe not. One thing I'm certain of Naruto will use the power of the Tailed Beasts because lets face it they are completely outmatched so somehow Naruto will use the power the Tailed Beasts gave him. We will also find out what exactly is Naruto's connection with the Rikudou Sennin, is he the reincarnation of him, is he a second version of the Sage or is he someone that this stands for the same things the Rikudou stood for.

Could be, the thing is we got a couple of answers but we're still missing the entire picture. We still don't know everything. I say we will get the full picture when Naruto will use the power the Tailed Beasts gave him, something will happen in that moment. Maybe the Rikudou Sennin himself will appear because he sealed some of his chakra in the bijuus just like Minato did with Naruto or something else. Eventually we will get the full picture.

Sadly I am not able to recognize the first 5 kanji (too blurry for my poor eyes). I'm able to give you only a partial translation of the preeview... sorry... It says:

"[....] Can the Mugen Tsukuyomi be detered?" but I say again: it's partial, the fist untranslated kanjis can change the core of the preeview....

 

Megi or another, are you able to recognize the firstest kanji?

Izanami worse...yeah. I'd agree. Izanami back story makes no sense. At least this was coherent.

I find some similarity between Naruto and Matrix right now.

 

1. Tsukuyomi a fake world that will bring relative peace.

2. Naruto as the one who will bring peace

3. Now this part is the most interesting one. Obito is creating this world so that Rin will be alive, and I wonder if Naruto will be challenged either saving Sakura or the world just like Neo.

 

But seeing how the story goes do you think Sakura will be killed? I somehow think she will be in mortal danger. Even this panel from this chapter showed that Sakura isn't exactly ok but it's a result of the attack made by the Juubi ( do we call it the Juubi or now god tree?)

 

Shinju is the same as God tree, and it's the Jubi's final form, so may as well use that.

 

Now that you put it like that it actually makes a hella lot of sense . The war might end just like that . i for one would like to see his love test and watch him choose Sakura-Chan .

I think Naruto used that too.  However, here's what I think could happen.  Since, we found out that chakra distributed doesn't disappear completely and links with the source as with the Alliance chakra cloak.  To answer Narutos's wishes, the Biju in the Shinju replenish the chakra they gave him, giving Naruto the strength to continue as well as a morale boost, because he'll know for sure that they are still fighting as well.

Last week rikudou linked a picture with a preview where it said the Tsukuyomi begins and what will Sasuke do...It looked like this one.

No Naruto won't have the same ending Matrix did.

It CAN'T have the same ending. In order for the plot to unfold anything like the Matrix it would require a MASSIVE betrayal by one of the characters and some people are going to die. They would have to. The only characters I can see doing this are Sasuke (utterly predictable), possibly Kiba (jealously), and (this would be AWESOME) Yandere Hinata.

Additionally, there were only a handful of occasions where Trinity was actually in danger. One is the above, and second when she's going down in the chopper. Neo never actively made a choice between Trinity > World. In short, I'm having a real hard time comparing this to the Matrix xD Trinity is also stronger than Sakura in many regards unfortunately. :/

Expanding on her as a person would be fantastic. It would be much easier to write her off as a mythical figure if Kishi's track record w/female characters wasn't so bad. I would like to see more of why her motivations were they way they were. Perhaps why she was a "Princess". How she found out the fruit gave power. Who told her this? Did she have a prior relationship with the tree/juubi? How did she end all these wars? How did she feel about it? Who did she love enough to have a kid with?

Just things like this that shape a person to actually be a person instead of a vehicle for another character's development or story.

 

I agree completely, and considering Kishi's penchant for backstories and flashbacks it's not entirely unlikely we could see something like that, it's too soon to know. I fully understand your frustration with the way female characters can end up getting the short end of the stick, in this manga and others, I can't stand it either and I want to see Kishi give his female cast the attention and acknowledgement they deserve, because you're certainly not wrong in that they are too easily sidelined. I just don't believe it to be intentional.

 

 

P.S. I just have to compliment coolcatjas, on the second picture they drew for their signature, it looks like a manga panel, really great job.

Oh, bijuu battles? The kanji were too blurry and I didn't recognize them... But It doesn't make sense with the next statemente.... ahahah what's the meaning of bijuu battles with the fact that the mugen tsukuyomi can be detered? Ahahaha sometimes preview doesn't make sense, it's just random...

it ain't no major plot point but its important to both naruto and Sakura-Chan . It is stressed . I know Naruto has proven his love but does Sakura-Chan still believe he loves her .?

We haven't gotten any instance the says she doesn't.  I don't know, because other matters have taken precedence.  I would say yes, because even though they had that misunderstanding in the Land of Iron.  They were back to normal after meeting Sasuke again.

I mean her words "If you don't love me anymore just say so" showed me that she had doubts in it . But maybe i missed something . But its up too her to show him her love also though .
