now, for the other small details(or not.. lol)
hmmm... i've read most of the posts and same as with the majority, i noticed the 'blush'... for me, it was a blush.. but that doesn't necessarily mean anything romantic. remember, this is the Sasuke-kun who tried to kill her a few times but now the same person just saved her.. on top of that, she wanted recognition from the two and she got it.. now, even if it is an intended SasuSaku moment, i still wont be alarmed, we had the last chapter and that pretty much cemented NaruSaku.. moments like this might be needed to finally end SasuSaku, if Sasuke and Sakura wont interact, then how can she ever confirm her feelings?
hokage title...
well, i think she was just joking.. this is the Sakura who wanted to protect Naruto's dream even if she end up failing the test, not to mention she was bringing Sasuke down with it.. in the last chapter, she's standing on equal grounds with the power two and she believe that she can now catch up with them.. if anything else, i see Sakura as someone who will protect Naruto's dream even if it means going against Sasuke..
HinaKiba..
well, it was a short one but i definitely saw that too.. but, she could have said that because he's her teammate? probably.. but Kiba and Naruto are alike... hmmmm..
'i'm here too' comment...
does anyone think this chapter is anti-NaruSaku? because i don't see it that way.. Naruto reacted and said "i'm here too Sakura-chan". he doesn't want Sakura to only see Sasuke, which in turn proves the girlfriend comment and thus strengthen the meaning of 631..
does Kishi wants to revive the love triangle? possibly, since he did confirmed a love triangle with this trio before.. but, again, i wont be worried, i already anticipate SasuSaku moments - that's needed, given the parting scene they had way back in part 1- we need a closure on Sakura's part and she can only do that if she interacts with Sasuke.. a little moments like these wont be enough to counter 631 along with the development of NaruSaku, development in which neither Sasuke or Hinata was part of...

So, do you think we will get a good ending to this volume or a bad one?
The good ending will be they defeat Juubi and people will cheer for their victory. Not sure on Madara and Obito, but at least Juubi is out of the way. The bad ending will be a twist within, much like how one anime have protagonist helped the former villain to defeat greater villain, only for that former to betray and become the greater of two evil. I'm having a hard time to think this ending. So, what do you think?

All I want to say about Sakura is that even if she didn't use the power that I wanted to see (Byakugu) I'm 95% happy with her progress plus I feel that the last panel was a sign of Kishi reminding her that even now that she is much more stronger is not about a one man army is about team work.
Thank you Kishi I'm glad that you're finally paying attention to you heroine, I guess after this the talk about Hinata being the Heroine, Sakura is not the true Heroine or she is weak can be put to rest.
I kind of agree with this.
In this case I kind of agree with Dαrkrєrs I believe people focus too much on what Sasuke might want or what he might not want, people love using the excuse that Sasuke will never love Sakura, he never love her or will try to establish a relationship with her because they try to kill each other, lets be real at this time that argument is nothing but a bunch of bull and a way to stand defensive against SS.
Naruto don't care about their history and the same goes for Sakura plus the fact that she does have feelings for him.
Sasuke is about to oppose Naruto with the things he desire the most, Sakura and Hokage but Sakura will be the one choosing who is the one she loves more, the biggest problem with Sasuke is that he will want to act as if Sakura is part of his possession so if Kishi really wants to end the Manga NS as how the story is currently dictating, he need to set up a scenario where Sasuke wants her but she wants Naruto, not that she ended with Naruto because she lost all her hope off having a relationship with Sasuke or Sasuke shows no interest in her.
I won't deny that Sakura blushing at Sasuke and not noticing Naruto's presence that he needed to remind her that he was also there didn't bother me since I always thought that any SS moment will come from Sasuke not Sakura since she will reject him plus I don't want her to keep shi**ing on Naruto afford to win her affection.
But it's also obvious that Kishi wants to give life to the real Love triangle, I don't like it I think it's silly at this point but I guess I need to wait and see how it works out even when my money is on NS with out a doubt.
Also who to know if Sasuke might be trying to force Naruto to be up front about his feelings for Sakura realizing that because of him they cannot be happy so that would be the lease he can do for them.

Nice post it kind of remind me of that chapter 632 perdition joke aside, to be honest the most I can picture Naruto saying is that she still has a charming forehead.
Agreed, despite not seeing her blushing or not, because i didnt see her blushing because there's dirt and whatesover but the love triangle is there, with NH out of the game basically, Sakura is being oblivious to romance and the insertion of lot's of comic moments.
For me there are two scenarios.
Sasuke wanting Sakura and Sakura then chooses Naruto or Sasuke is just there and Sakura chooses Naruto because now acknowledges she loves him.
Both ways lead to Sakura loving Naruto and not Sasuke anymore.
@James.
Yes it's a double standard also but the love triangle is Naruto/Sakura/Sasuke with Sakura being the romance driven, it's she that will decide if we will have a pairing on the end or not, it's not up to Naruto,Sasuke,Hinata,Karin,Ino or whoever, it's just Sakura, i feel that it proved Kishimoto words when he said there will be only one pairing and i feel that now with this chapter it got more obvious.
SS is just Sakura really with Sasuke being inconsistent and unstable, he may suddely love anyone with no reason and there's nothing much we can do really because he's already unstable(due to crap writing).
NS is just about Sakura, It's just proved Naruto feelings everything on his life was predetermined, Naruto loves Sakura because she's similar to his mother, he fell in love with her solely because of that reason(his father), just as why he wanted to be hokage, how he controled the bijuu, how he masted the bijuu dama(rasengan), why he was trained by Jiraiya(his father), why he doesnt want to give up(Jiraiya's book), his name(the book also) and so on...

Long time lurker here the last time I was on was during that whole 615 issue.but I am on every week reading. Heck this time I didn't even login as I'm doing this over my phone.
People relax. This whole chapter was about Sakura and her catching up with naruto. As for the blush I don't think it was a blush. Look carefully at the left cheek. Doesn't hat look more so like her increased emphasis on the eyelining. That's just me. And then look at the other panels she's got both cheeks scratched alil. You only see the right one and the other side is just the eye lining. But that's just me. Don't freak out. She was just elated cause she knows she's badass and everyone's impressed and that sasuke was the first to show up. Heck I actually see a narusaku. Moment. Naruto re-reaffirming his love by letting alil bit of jealous insecurity Oooz out. And then look again she's totally focused on him. She teases him about the hokage thing and tell him or them that this time we ll do it together(back to back)
But that's just me. And this does set up the fore head scene. Cause I say s*** is gonna hit the fan and things are gonna start looking bad for the alliance agains soon.

Thank you for the translation. Could you also tell us about the last panels?
What does Sakura say exactly when she talks about becoming Hokage? Is she talking to Naruto or both of the boys?
Sakura:...N!! Sasuke-kun! !
Naruto: Uhm~I'm here too....Sakura-chan!
Sasuke: Don't get in the way Naruto!
Sakura: Yes! If you keep on saying about little things/minor details, I'm going to snatch the Hokage seat!
Naruto: Eeeee~!!!Sakura-chan too!!?
She was talking to Naruto. "The minor details" part is meant towards him because he was accusing her of not calling his name first.
So Sakura is teasing Naruto that she will take away his Hokage seat if he doesn't stop minding the minor details

I hope this is only the beginning for Sakura. It's nice to see her kick baby-juubis around, but I want to see her do spmething relevant for the plot. Pure action looks like fanservice to me.
I think she will. She is a disciple of the hokage after all.
I think she'll definitely assist in taking down the Juubi which is indeed relevant.
I think he wanted to showcase her abilities so this was a nice start.

Probobly the bad ending. After all, Naruto still needs to bring peace to the world and Sasuke clearly has some hidden motives. We also don't know what Orochimaru is up to yet.

So, sorry, she didn't ignored him.

Apparently all of the worry she has had for him gets thrown out the window... It's so stupid. She says Sasuke's name and all hell breaks loose.

Tenten gets no love
Ok seriously, who?
I think the reason some might be unsatisfied with the Sakura noticing Sasuke is because they saw the whole ordeal backwards.
The moment wasn't done to showcase how Sasuke is great or how Sakura loves him so much, it was done to have Naruto show jealously. The focus is not about Sakura being happy with Sasuke, that's just a means to an end, and that end is to show Naruto once again wanting to make Sakura notice him which we could potential get more of later on.
Now that Sasuke is back Naruro can properly seek Sakura's affection and I think that scene was the introduction to that revived storyline. I do miss the Naruto that was all determined to get Sakura's love back in Part 1, so this might be a way to bring him back.

Which is kinda weird because doesnt she knows that he loves him, it's just...
Like Naruto did with Hinata when he forget about her confession.
LOL
I believe that it's just a comic scene because to remind their interactions of the past since everyone was acting like that but after the Sai words it can be like before anymore.

Right. If she pulled a major power up without showing growth against some cannon fodder first, there would be complaints that she was being given power out of the blue.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
And now that scene has become 100 times more awesome. So Sakura herself tells Naruto that it's not that big of a deal that she said Sasuke's name first. I feel like somehow Sakura is talking directly to the pairing fandom with those types moment.
Thank you so much for this. You da man!

This!
I'm happy with the direction he's taking this time around given, even after that explosive attack, she's still VERY confident, and it's obvious there's more in store for us. I think the rookies will play some part in this as well when the time comes. Shall be interesting to see though I think Team 7 will keep the spotlight ultimately.
