I just reread this chapter, and have to thank Kishi for making the chapter so much like the chapters of old, with the humour and interaction between charactors, really cheered me up after how pissed off I was after the Xbox One reveal.

I noticed something I didn't first time around, when Naruto says yes...kinda about Sakura being his girlfriend, Sakura didnt deny it, she just punched him and told him to focus on his recovery, but never denied it, where the old Sakura would Do this!

Also what's up with Madara and the first Hokage? There is one person here trying to destroy the world here and they are acting like they are renewing their rivalry in a game of Tennis or something..what's up with that?

I wonder where Kain is? I hope Kishi doesn't plan to use her introduction as a way to make Sakura look jealous. I thought the way she handled Sasuke's arrival was very mature, there was no sign of her fangirling, (though Ino kinda did.) and it would be a shame if Kishi ruined that charactor progression just to keep the fandom guessing, I am not even saying Kishi shouldn't try to hint at the possible hints of SasuSaku, i'm just saying I don't want it to come at the expense of this maturity we've been asking from Sakura for years.

I loved Hinata's expressions this chapter, they looked so uninterested and vacant, like in One Piece whenever Franky goes all Gundam the males all have stars in their eyes but Robin, Nami and other females all have this vacant 'what's the big deal' look on their faces. It makes me want to ship SasuHina...she was so cool.

Anyone else notice the gates the first used to trap the Bijuu's tails were almost identicle to the gates Naruto summoned when he retrapped Kurama after their battle?

Also last page was awesome, Team seven all united and looking badarse for the first time in the Manga poor Sai he seems to have flown away somewhere.

Also next week colour pages, hopefully poster of Team Seven with on top of their summons or something.

Well, they closed it as soon as the chapter was released. It's crazy over at NF right now. In the discussion thread, there's no pairing threads like for 615. It's insane and mods are extremely busy.

Honestly, they're NOT accepting Sasuke back, they're still in shock that a Nuke-Nin who practically started this whole war is in here, at their side, and spouting out his desire to be the leader of a village he promised to destroy. Seriously, everyone's goin', "What are you doing here?!" during the Rookie 9 interaction.....

Even Ino's reaction is more of shock than anything else...

This right here. Yes, Team 7 is reunited but it's more of an "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" situation with the entire ninja world hanging in the balance.

The village will NOT want Sasuke to stick around, let alone become Hokage once the dust settles. He is REALLY going to need to grovel or be martyred somehow in this battle in order to regain their trust.

in regards to accepting sasuke. im not surprised sakura and naruto did so so quickly. naruto has always just wanted his best friend back, and even when sakuras faith in sasuke was shaken her faith in naruto never was. god my cheeks are starting to hurt hahahaha

Bolded: Agreed, It's like everyone just brought up everything he did and then forgot about it. That being said though, I feel like we are going a Naruto Sasuke fight over the Hokage spot, but not in the friendly context. I feel like after Madara is defeated, Sasuke will reveal that he plans to be an iron fist type tyrannical hokage.

Yeah, I can see that happening. That seems just so... Contrived, though, and kind of a lame thing to fight about, IMO.

So this is a good day for us, I just watched Swayer7mages review, well he is saying no no no, its all to keep the pairing fans interested, etc. I was laughing my ass off, he is concerned. He said Minato took a dump on the NaruHina fanbase.

Um Swayer, grow up, plus remember the NH fanbase may be bigger but the majority of the fanbase outside NH is much larger than yours will ever be

Kushina is not going to be revived as he hopes, this is not toying with us. In fact, kishi doesn't even do this all on purpose, he does it as he feels is best, otherwise he would have milked the NH fanbase for everything (maybe thats what volume 64 was made for)?

Don't know about him but it appears he still thinks NH has an incredibly long development.

All I can say is eat it Swayer, next time think about character development rather than who a lot perceive as important. Did he never mention the huge gap of space between the time Naruto beats Neji and she protects Naruto from pain? Did he ever mention or even was aware how there are 332 chapters between these spaces with Hinata having little to no real impact on the manga? Well fillers don't count and Sakura was well around for the majority of this space of chapters.

Everywhere. The debate thread is not closed BUT those who uses latest chapter will be deleted. It didn't happen with 615. I don't know if this is double standard, but it's probably because this chapter was more obvious to love than 615, especially with the approval of Minato. Naruto still loves Sakura, which killed NH after all that "epicness". The parallel is no laughing matter. One done, two to go.
