I never shipped SS but I did do a bit of NH shipping during Part 1.

Anyways I was also busy reading a NS fanfic. It was so...freakin amazing. So in character, just so...simply beautiful. I cried. It's been a while since a fanfic has made me cried.

It miniseries. I think we should treat it as sequel. Like shaman king flower.
If it part 3 then the main character should be naruto and title of the manga still called naruto.
If burito become popular, most likely it will serialize in weekly or monthly shonen manga. Just hope it will flop.
I heard orochimaru and taka subplot will resolve in burito manga.
I bet they will make chunin exam version 2 and orochimaru will become the villain and salad would kidnap because uchiha. And maybe himawari will get kidnaped too, because lol hyuga.
And it's up to burito to save them. Well something like that.

Funny enough, before I got back into reading Naruto, I liked Ss and read fanfiction about them. But, as time went on, there were only two Sasukes I saw. 1. The ooc Sasuke, that was lovey dovey with Sakura and used pet names for her. 2. A cheating ass bastard, that would sleep with Ino or Karin behind her back, then either, suddenly realize how wrong he was and would apologize, to which after doing some idiotic heroic act, Sakura would forgive him. Or, Sakura would not be able to move on from Sasuke, even though he was an a**hole in the story, "cuz luv, ya'll."
 
Either way, I became disgusted with how Sakura and Sasuke always ended back together after all the kitten he pulled( especially if the author would give Sakura another love interest, like Naruto or Gaara, who would be there for her, when she was hurting.) So in the end, Ss turned me against the pairing in the first place and it only got worse when I found out how terrible Sasuke treated Sakura in canon.( That's also, when I began to see Naruto as a great guy, who complimented Sakura well and began to ship them.)
 
I don't regret abandoning Ss, but I do somewhat regret getting back into Naruto.( I only say somewhat, cause I met you guys.)

Yes! When I used to read SS fanfics it was always some vampire shoujo kitten that was honestly enjoyable but completely out of character. The ones that actually WERE in character turned me off so bad with all the murdering and cruelty. The real Sasuke is such an assh*le to Sakura and I just can't enjoy a couple like that. It sucks ass!!

Like, I was never Anti NaruSaku or anything like that, since I didn't even know it existed in Part 1. When Part 2 came around, was still never against it, just couldn't see it as happening. Wish I was proven wrong

I shipped Sakura with alot of people but didn't care for pairings until last year I realized I ship NS lol

I never once though about romance back in naruto part 1, the love dynamic didn't change at all back there I used to think, it was always static, Naruto liked Sakura. Sakura liked Sasuke, Hinata liked Naruto, Lee liked Sakura, etc

 

Though I got really NS vibes from the promise of lifetime and early part 2, and then looking in retrospect at part 1  i could see clearly sakura warming  up to naruto, and that NS got most of the development out of the rest....then the tenchi bridge incident came and that really put me on the NS train

 

That's why I call BS on KIkitten saying he planned NH from the beginning of part 2, early part 2 is full of NS!! SS only put its ugly head out once again after pain arc with the revelation that sakura still loved sasuke ( "why?" I asked at the time, "why should i believe sakura feels so strongly towards the guy if I don't know why she feels that way, I mean...i know  why Naruto likes Saura and even why Hinata likes Naruto, but SS? no kittening clue")

 

 I guess in the end tho, Yahagi was the one who called the shots around there, Kikitten gives me the impression to be a really naive person who follows other people ideas, this was good when he had someone like Yahagi, however it posed a problem once the original editor bailed out

I think he did thanks to his own sense of perceived popularity, he said back at JF in 2010 that people were always saying  hinata - hinata to him

You hear all the time that Sakura is a detestable person, but that's what seems to be the intention

Since Kishi is not a social person ( the life of a mangaka is pretty hard) the people who said this are probably from his work so they could be

-  his assistants (link_papa is clearly a hinata fan) 

- one of his new editors

- someone from SP

 

I guess he was swayed to this false sense of popularity by these guys and the fan letters of some rabid fan girls and worked his story accordingly because he most likely was already tired of it ( this is why we can see his clearly lack of dedication in some panels during the horrible war arc) and wanted to make easy cash out of it

 

In the end I guess, his greed. naivety and laziness are coming back to bite him the ass since its proved that his ending was an ending that most of the jap fans ( main fanbase ) disliked and his movie is not living up to its hype...

Kishi forgot Naruto IS a shounen, consistent storyline and good fights are the main things he should focus on. By trying to appease the rabid NH/SS fangirls and following his assistants/Sp/his new editors words like a blind man he most likely ended up digging up the grave of the franchise.
