Nothing. I think Sanji, for the most part, is a good character all around. But as I said before, I despise the way he treats Nami and Robin like they're precious wall flowers, as if they didn't train for two years and as if they're weak. It's the complete polar opposite of Luffy, who has unwavering faith in all his crew members, treats all his crewmates the same, and never looks at anyone as if they're weak. Not to mention, Sanji's demeanor and his character blatantly show that he would be awful in a relationship, as he's a horn dog that can't keep it in his pants.

Sanji is one of my favorite characters, but I have zero illusions about his character flaws. Just because he's one of my favorites doesn't mean that I can't be critical of him, especially when I hold my favorite characters to higher standards.

Luffy and Nami is my otp because (among other reasons) Luffy and Luffy alone brings out the best in Nami as a character, and there's no one that comes close. He's the one that's seen her at her worst, he's the one that ripped her from her nightmare, and he's the one that is the anchor for her belief. Sanji does none of that for Nami, and continually disrespects her, albeit subtly. They would be awful together, imo.

While what I said was obviously a joke, let's all just agree that Arlong was an amazing villain in the series. Remember when Naruto was still running, and some people would ship Sakura with every single villain. :argh:

It does make me remember that I'm happy with Nami not changing her mind on Arlong after that flashback. In Kishi, he probably have Nami send cookies to Arlong.
