If NS doesnt happen then NH still  doesnt happen for another 2 years even after everything that happened. Like how bad is that though.

EDIT did some research, all you said is just rumors that are probably fake, having to do with combining the pacific rim and godzilla 2014 franchises into a pacific rim 2 crossover movie where the robots fight godzilla, which I HIGHLY DOUBT is true at all.

Well Jiraiya could have almost have them both beat, (toad mouth trap forced Itachi to use Amaterasu after Tsukuyomi). That drain hell of a chakra, especially since he didn't want to use Susano'o, that was his trump card reveal only in his fight with Sasuke(since he wanted Sasuke to kill him but to transfer his visual jutsu to him as well). Zetsu didn't know about it.

Kisame wouldn't be able to escape it alone and I believe Jiraiya (Sage Mode) could have beat Kisame Alone and with a significantly weaken Itachi if they were to stay.

 

I doubt Kishi had formulated their entire movesets during that brief encounter in the middle of Part 1. A constricted environment coupled with an AoE jutsu that enabled Jiraiya to manipulate the terrain into attacking enemies were the key advantages to Jiraiya staving off their advance. Itachi wasn't going to allow himself to be killed in a simple encounter on Akatsuki's behalf. If necessary, he would have unleashed Susanoo right then and there.

 

The Akatsuki duo had the tools, experience, and strength to challenge Jiraiya in a one on one encounter. Together, and with complete understanding of their feats from Part 2, they would have very likely beaten Jiraiya, even with Sage Mode active (albeit it would be a challenging fight). Even Kisame by himself might have been able to escape with the proper jutsu. He had yet to unfasten Samehada or use any specific techniques before retreating. Flood the narrow space with water (Itachi could protect himself with an air dome via Susanoo) then swiftly use a jutsu like the Suikōdan to eat away at the flesh to create an opening. All of that would depend on how quick Kisame's handseal and justu execution speed is though.

My main problem with thinking of this movie as a canon. Its like Naruto slept for 2 years.

Plot twist: at the end of the film, we find out we were in Hinata's dream world the whole time.

Don't know, but I think Sakura is giving her a boost of confidence to get a nice dress and helping her to pick up a dress for the winter festival.
