Writer of the Last didn't know much about the series ---> LOL. We should have guessed  . Still, let's wonder what the poor NHtards will say about that. Not only did they need a movie to retcon plot and character, this movie was even made by someone who didn't even know the manga. OUCH! Maybe they want some salve for those unseemly BURN marks?

The staff who were involved with this movie would probably have to take consequences. Also it is rumored that the writer for the RTN will handle the Boruto movie since the writer for the LAST movie knew nothing about the canon manga.

Yeah, because they really retconed everything :hinata being naruto childhood friend, naruto doing the kage bunshin....
it's a shame to make such mistakes in a movie which was supposed to be the last and canon !
The worst is that kishi was involved !

Seriously, we could apply this rule to all naruto movies, since we don't really need to know much to understand most of them...

It may not be the case bc the amount of money they have spend on production & marketing this kitten unlike RTN  . Releasing tons of Hinata merchandise that DON"T sell and collecting dust  , the tickets earnings  etc  this movie should have earned allot more then it did till now to cover its expenses and earn their estimated profit so we wait and see .

but in last week, Parasyte surpassed The Last & it was like in 6th or 7th position
and now it's not there

Yeah, i think that they had invested more money and time with THE LAST than they had with RTN. You can cleary tell which movie they had put more money on the animation, marketning, products and some famous guest voice actors. They may have earned more money than RTN, but don't forgot that they has invested a lot more money in this money and still the movie didn't made it so good in the audiance. So i think that they will lose and make it up for theirs invest.
So who knows maybe in the end RTN may be the most successiv movie (possiblity?) because they didn't invest so much in the budget. Still want to see THE LAST and RTN movie budget so that i can be sure.

pretty much. it's cleanup and the best way to do it is bring someone in who not only knows the story, but has gotten widely praise from it. but i think it's far too late now. i've said this time and time again that it's only going to get worse.
