 It burns my eyes to see those pages being portrayed here in one of the few (and probably strongest) NS sanctuaries that's still standing. Is it possible to conceal those images in spoiler tags with a forewarning that informs people of what they're subjecting themselves to if they click the spoiler?

TBH, if Naruto and Hinata were BOTH supporting characters, I'd be fine with it. The problem however, is that Naruto was supposed to be the Main Character. As such, whichever pairing he ended up with was supposed to have proper development, not just a few moments of hand holding and a little slap on the cheek. That'd be fine for a Side Character pairing, but alas; what can we do? It's over and done with; all we can do is sigh at the results.

I know right. I bet they're also going to portray Sakura in yet a different light, make her push Hinata to Naruto because "she wants to seem him happy" or something which would contradict 699 and in turn 699 contradicted all her development before that (excluding 693)

Yeah I read some moron who said that they're glad Naruto got with Hinata because at least Hinata had feelings for him. I responded with well if this manga was called "Hinata" then I would agree her feelings are relevant, However since this series is called "Naruto" and Naruto never showed any moment at all where he cared for Hinata romantically, he was focused on Sakura for 699 chapters, I tend to think his feelings for Sakura are much more important then his feelings for a non-existent entity that true may have feelings for him but those feelings are irrelevant in the scope of Naruto's story.

 

Of course that was before this asspull of a movie. The fact that people are saying oh don't worry the movie will clear up the manga. I pretty much called them out and say do you not see anything wrong with that.

 

A MOVIE SHOULD NOT BE WHAT TELLS YOUR STORY FOR YOU! A MOVIE IS FILLER IN AN ANIME SERIES, IT HAS NO RELEVANCE TO THE MANGA! THE FACT THAT YOU THINK IT'S OKAY FOR KISHI TO SAVE STUFF FOR THE MOVIE IS SO SCREWED UP! PEOPLE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO WATCH A MOVIE TO UNDERSTAND A MANGA, PERIOD! IT JUST REEKS OF GREED AND TRYING TO MAKE A QUICK BUCK WHICH IS WHY NOBODY SHOULD SUPPORT IT.

 

Then they said something along the lines of well Kishi is doing the movie because the manga would have gone off for 50 more chapters to show the development.

 

I basically ended the argument there by saying thank you for stating exactly what I was thinking. That Kishi was forced into doing this ending. Why because he had 700 chapters to develop a relationship between Hinata and Naruto or at the very least show Naruto is interested in her. He did no such thing whatsoever so thank you for confirming that it was indeed a huge asspull.

 

Suffice to say I won the argument. Oh but of course they got the canon yeah at the tarnishment and character assassination of all the characters.

 

this person is obviously a jackass :/ they just unknowingly admitted that the ending as well as NH was forced..The series is over now..where was the development necessary to make NH canon? in fact where was the development necessary to make Hinata relevant? -face palm-

 

Still ask them for a panel where Naruto shows that he loves Hinata..guess what...they still can't and neither could SS

Agreed. Naruto doesn't deserve Sakura. But the fact that he didn't even confess to her after he brought Sasuke back is completely illogical and OOC. From a fictional standpoint however, NS sends a much better message and resolution than NH. NH's not bad, just not as developed for a Main Character pairing.

 

No, I still believe NS deserve each other. Sakura doesn't deserve the hate. She got great development up till that confession in 693.. and then the last two chapters. Naruto doesn't deserve the hate. Kishimoto is the one who wrote the outcome. If there was no Naruto confession, it was because Kishi didn't write one. If there was no Naruto acknowledgement from Sakura's side, then that's Kishi's fault.. since he didn't write it. No POAL or forehead scene? That's all on Kishi. OOC from all the characters? Still Kishi. None of this is the character's fault. He lost his integrity when he sold-out his 15 year story.

I've been trying to hate Sakura but..I can't..my feelings for her right now is neutral as hell but then I always remember that this was the result of a major ass pull and no one could deny that
