The earlier spoilers said that it was Itachi who held Sakura bridal-style (dat Itachi). But it would be much better if it was indeed Naruto.

No kidding. You should check out my early post. It goes to show you who's the best pair for Naruto. I would love to see Hinata do those stuff. Then again, the movie will have a bad ending because she will faint in the minute they're in AU. But I digress.

It's funny. When the mangaka gets involved with the movie, they sure exposed more than anyone else when it comes to pairing. Like in Bleach, coming soon Fairy Tail, and now Naruto. I know there are more, but right now I just can't think any of them.

Btw, someone asked about the princess holding picture. Now, we wait for the answer.

People are doing a lot of review with picture drawing aren't they? I guess the movie really got everyone excited.

I think so far we have 3 picture summaries right? There are two which you posted (the S-rank and A-rank missions) and now there's the one choco posted with Naruto rescuing Sakura princess style.

So far I think we've had partial translations of the S-rank mission, but still nothing on the other two. I really want to know what those panels say, especially the ones with Sakura blushing in her PJs (pisses me off to think that she was probably looking at Sasuke in that moment ), the princess style rescue, and the one in which she's bound in chains.

Let's hope there's a japanese language speaker somewhere that can assist us.

Someone asked already. We just have to wait and see. If true, that is some parallel you're doing there, Kishi. But I digress.

Funny, the person that asked is an anti-NS. Lol. I guess that person is feeling pressured by that art. We just have to wait, but the answer will come. Also, I'm waiting for my questions to be answered. I got mine already about Sakura bringing Naruto back to reality.

In the meantime, does anyone would like to try to translate those new arts?

@redragon88: Well, Sasuke did barged in and Sakura was caught off-guarded, which is why she has to put a robe on quick. She was shocked to see the 4th Hokage robe, then Sasuke interrupted. If I was her, I would be confused and scared. Wouldn't you find it strange?

@Hokage Sennin: Actually, it was said multiple times that Itachi just grabs her arm to pull away from Naruto, since Naruto ordered him to protect her while he fights Menma. Then again, Naruto probably pass it to Itachi with the same hold. Well, there is a panel in those images about Itachi being told to protect Sakura.

In that drawing she looks more embarrassed than scared.

But, you're completely right either way. Any girl caught off guard in that kind of situation would feel confused and embarrassed. I guess this is just my wishful thinking that maybe one day it will be Naruto that catches her in an embarrassing situation. I bet the scene would be 10 times better that way.

Still, if we have 100% confirmation that Naruto indeed rescued Sakura princess style that completely makes up for the previous situation.

Curiously enough in that same panel there's another picture of Sakura blushing while wearing regular clothes. I wonder what that one's about.

Well yeah, that's what I meant. Either way, it was a way to interrupt her since she found the 4th Hokage robe and was looking at it. Plus, I don't mind at all. I do wish for Naruto to catch her there, but hey, the whole movie is NS, so why care. Also, it's not even real Sasuke, so bam. I don't have to bring it the anti-SS moment.

Anyway, did you read my early post about how Sakura helped Naruto to leave AU. It really makes me happy that Kishi develops her this way. From misunderstanding Naruto, thinking Sasuke will understand her, and no parents equals best lifestyle, to understanding Naruto, Sasuke isn't the one to understand her but Naruto is the one, and having parents is a great thing.

Guys, I came with a news. Couple of things that I learned from the movie.

First of all, it is confirmed that Sakura did leave Naruto alone because she wants to keep his happiness alive while she goes against Menma. She was going to tell him to go, but knowing his reaction, she knew that he wants to stay there. Naruto was in confused state and don't know what's going on with him. Sakura did not want to break his happiness because she knows Naruto never have a family, and this is one chance he can be with one.

This one is a megaton imo. Okay, the new information I got was how Sakura got Naruto back to reality. I don't know when exactly but perhaps shortly after the fence scene. Okay, remember she brought the 4th Hokage robe? Well, she brought it to Naruto as a reminder to where they really belong to. What she said to him was that she wants to go back to the real world because they belong there, a world where real heroes had protected at a price of their lives. When she said real heroes, she means Naruto's parents. That moment is the breaking point. To be honest, that was beautiful and I got to say, I truly love Kishi for creating Sakura this way. It all make sense now. Think about it. If he stays in a fake world, then are you trying to say that Naruto's parents sacrifice was meaningless if he's not going to be the hero. This puts Naruto in a selfish position. That's why she believes that Naruto will always be the hero of the world when she confronted Menma. It also make sense when his fake parents refused to rescue Sakura, Naruto was like "Sakura-chan is right. This is not my world. I must return." Now I understand why people said Naruto chose Sakura over his fake family. Wow, this just gets better and better.

Y'know what, ciardha was right on the spot. This movie is definitely the Sakura arc Kishi's been wanting to write about. It looks to me Sakura has the bulk of character development out of the two and from all indications, Naruto's development is minimal and it doesn't happen until the last part of the movie.

Now, my only complain would be why didn't Kishi just do this in the manga?? I'm blaming this all on his editor. His editor must be a Hinata fanboy.

You're right, this would've fit perfectly fine after the Pain arc, and would've been a great booster for the confession scene, though it may have messed with the flow of the kage meet etc... as well as Danzo's officialness as a Hokage.

Don't know if it was the editor's fault, but hopefully Sakura still gets a manga arc to do something heroic like this, because if her heroic-ness was the confession/Sakura and Naruto hiding the truth from one another/lacking the resolve to do anything about Sasuke/and choosing to be neutral and simply "believing in those two" (whatever the hell that means), then I'd be somewhat disappointed.

I also feel like this is the Sakura arc that Kishi 'forgot' to put in the manga, but then again the manga isn't over. I also believe why he never really got time to do it in the manga (thus far) was because of his editor(s), but not due to them being Hinata fan boys. I feel like his editor(s) just strongly pushed him to have more focus on Naruto and Sasuke (and possibly other more popular characters, like Gaara), thus he put most his effort on developing Naruto (and, to lesser extent, Sasuke). He probably really did forgot to include a Sakura arc, and probably felt bad about it and decide to add certain elements he had planned to put in that arc into the movie.

This is all speculation, as I do not know how editors for manga work. But I do understand the basic thing of what AMERICAN comics editors do, and what I've read about author's experiences with editorial decisions, they really do hinder with their works. But at the same time, I've also heard that MANGA editors work more closely with the author, and USUALLY the decisions of what should go into the mangas is up to both the author and his editor(s). So, basically, editors for American comics acts more like an authors boss and tells what to write about, while editors for manga acts more like a partner to the author.

But I've also read interviews of comic writers who enjoy working with certain editors, and the more well known you are, the more you can get away with things. Though I don't know about manga, I'm sure there're mangakas(?) who have had frustrating times with editorial decisions. It also depends what kind of comic or manga, as the comics written for DC and Marvel suffer from a lot more editorial constraints than independent comics companies. I'm sure it similar to mangas, I believe it depends on the publishing company and the popularity of the manga. But, then again, I know little about manga.

Possibly both still happen, as Naruto may have passed Sakura to Itachi similar to that pose, or vice versa.
But something you have to remember, this is fan art. Certain things they drew may have happen in the movie, or it could possibly be art that was INSPIRED by the movie.
