Point is Sakura didn't need changes to her body, if she was more sweet and caring to Naruto and was a type b tsundere to him as in she is lovey dovey to him except when he does something stupid then she gets mad maybe she definitely would have been more popular. But wasted opportunity am I right?

And it didn't help Studio Pierrot often overdid it with her tsundere moments, especially in fillers. That's something in TDW I work on where Sakura will call Naruto stupid and sometimes bonk him or smack him, but she deep down is grateful to him not just from Naruto saving her from Gaara, but his managing to protect her so many times and entrusting her with the knowledge he's Kurama's Jinchuriki.

ya know normally I don't check out forneverworld's videoes, but I decided to hear his thoughts on how Kishi handled Hachimaru and Ann's little conversation in Chapter 39 and he said some pretty interesting things. 

 

 

He admitted that Naruto and Hinata were slapped together at the end, and that "it lacked substance" to the relationship and most importantly "it didn't feel natural the way it was put together at the last minute."

 

He even said SasuSaku was that of a toxic relationship. 

 

 

 

When pertaining to the whole romance angle in Samurai 8, he calls it a massive improvement over how the romance was handled in Naruto.

Doesn't change the fact that he was a YouTuber with clear bias towards the "moe" princess, he was crapping on Sakura etc. etc. He can have a complete change of heart, most people do. Doesn't change that how things turned out IS. PARTIALLY. HIS. DOING. If any of these damn YouTube weaboo reviewers showed ANY impartiality at all and leave their own god damned lack of success in relationships OUT OF their reviews for Naruto, this series would probably not be the trash it is today. It was their "jacking off" to Hinata and her boobs that caught the attention of Hinata worshiping executives at Shueisha and they pressured Kishi to complying with their demands for Naruto to "ride Hinata" and "knock her up". It doesn't matter to me what they think now. THEY ASKED FOR IT. NOW THEY HAVE TO LIVE WITH IT. END OF STORY. I have no sympathies to give them nor will I hear what they have to say now because these jack@$$es helped ruin the series for EVERYONE. And I am done with Naruto. I have moved on and am never looking back at it no matter how many years pass.

If things stood as they were like In Naruto I am sure they would be drooling and touching themselves over whatever "Hinata" Samurai 8 would have too. I can't trust these nut jobs to be objective over anything unless it is something they want to see or they look back on it long after the damage has been done. If I seem unsympathetic, that is because like I said, these weeb otaku wannabes are part of the reason Naruto was ruined for me. Therefore I give no kittens to what they have to say now. I'm just stating how I feel.

And now you so-called fans see that your "wishful" ship that became canon isn't exactly what you wanted to be?!  You should had shut those mouths up and just talk about what was happening in the story in general, instead hyping up wishful comments in regards to couples! Because of that "whining and crying all over the floor", you're part of the reason why the franchise is in this state, instead of letting Masashi continuing on writing to the end (and making sure his assistants and those editors steer clear away from Western social media and focusing on their own audience because we were secondary).

Oh I completely agree with you guys 100% when it comes to that standpoint,  I think it's just funny that it took him 6 years after Naruto ended to admit that the pairings weren't natural.

I am not watching foreverworld. I have seen a handful of his videos and that was enough for me; also he must not be that big a youtuber because I haven't seen him recommended to me for years now. But saying that it has been six years since Naruto ended, from what I understand his has been trying to lose weight, and had a girlfriend at some point. That may have changed his views somewhat.

 

But please note that even by your phrasing; he is not saying nH/SS shouldn't have happened (,and that NS should have happened). Just that Hachi/Anna have a better written romance than those two pairings. (Well, really just nH.) Which could just be him trying to praise Samurai 8 so people go read it.

I have not and I never will (I don't understand why you guys would want to watch NH youtubers... now or ever)... But by LuckyChi's phrasing it DOES mean exactly that. NH was slapped together in the end -> it should not have been slapped together in the end.-> the only way for NH to happen was by being slapped together in the end -> NH should not have happened at all. Because guess what, if it was NOT slapped together in the end then it would be somewhat if not entirely LEGITIMATE regardless of how awful it was. Maybe Naruto changes his feelings for Sakura, or something else happens. Moot.

 

But all of that also means NS/SK should have happened by default by virtue of NOT being slapped together in the end. It doesn't matter if he realizes that this is the conclusion or not. Most likely he eventually will if he does not. People do mature/wisen up at some point. He doesn't even need whatever limited trappings of the real world are available to him to do so. Though admittedly it would definitely speed the process... I don't see NH (esp. as presented) having much appeal to someone with a lot or even a little emotional maturity.

Not really. Look neither of us are going to watch that video, so we are going off a summary lucky made of what he said. Now he could be recanting his position, but Lucky doesn't mention that which I assume he would if he did.

 

All foreverworld is saying is, "its a shame nH didn't get as much development as HA is getting." Not that nH shouldn't have happened and NS should have happened instead. He still likely thinks nH is better than NS; he ultimately just wishing it got more screen time and development.

 

The people that were obsessed with nH were because it was their revenge against being friend-zoned when they were young.
