I feel like people often forget just how tacticle Sakura actually is in favor of her brute strength.

I have to admit I failed to appreciate that aspect because I didn't really like how she left their sleeping bodies to lie there to be captured, or eaten by wild animals, or whatever. But I'd just chalk that up to Kishi being short-sighted.

We sometimes saw Naruto using tactics like a ninja, even if he didn't show it much later on when he was just all raw power. Like his fight with Kiba, he showed how tactical he was when he had tricked Kiba with the Transformation Jutsu TWICE in the fight, as well as fighting with Neji, his using a Shadow Clone after his Tenketsu were reopened when he used Kurama's power and digging underground while Neji was thinking the fight was over only for Naruto to take him down, even if he'd busted his fingernails by digging to get the drop on Neji.

Honestly. Looking at her battle with the Sound ninja, and Ino as well. When Sakura is given a chance to shine she often ends up fighting the most like a ninja would out of the entire cast.

I don't really see it as a good thing that her best combat moments all revolve around improvisation because Kishi didn't care enough to give her anything beyond things that any ninja can do and later abilities that Tsunade was already displayed as having.

 

It may be (in fact I would probably agree) that the manga itself would have benefited from more of this combat style and less clearly DBZ inspired junk, but it doesn't give me a better feeling about how Sakura was handled, quite the opposite honestly. That stuff is good but it's also frustrating.

I dont know if I would term it improvisational, because she doesn't just pull things out randomly. She plans ahead; the fight with the sound Ninja's she'd set up multiple traps making them think the threat was in one place when infact it was another. but she was outnumbered, out powered and exhausted so...

Sakura knew Ino and she knew what to say to make her fly off the handle and she used it.

It's really no different than Shikamaru, only Sakura doesnt get any praise for it.

So that umbrellas everyone except Shikamaru, but When Sasuke comes to town for a visit to report directly to him, he drops everything he is doing at that very instant and lets him in no matter how much paper work he has to stamp. That very task and his "hokage responsibilities" are the excuses as to why he is never home, never knew Sakura left the village while pregnant with Sarada, etc. etc. But Sasuke is worth ditching all of that. In fact Sasuke has a "kiss my @$$" freebie pass to any country of his desire as shown when in one episode, A, the Raikage let him into his office, no questions asked.

 

So does that sound like Naruto is sorry for what he had to sacrifice to save his "sexilicous boy toy lover" and get him scot free from any punishment and consequence?

Given what you just said I'm guessing no and that makes Naruto even worse as a character. So basically Naruto would have let everyone die to save Sasuke our hero everyone I mean sora in kingdom Hearts isn't even that bad.
I really want Naruto to a moment like in civil war where one of the victims family members of Sasuke rampage chews him out like that lady did to Tony in the movie for the whole ultron thing.
I'm just disgusted Naruto does that.
Really a just let's him walk in or would it be dauri since he's the current raikage which the new 5 kage is one point I can give the ending since the new raikage, mizukage and tschikage were well chosen.

Was that I thing I don't remember but dauri is so awesome he's worthy to be kage he's one the better characters in the war arc.

I agree. Out of all of the new last minute characters, Darui was truly a better character.

He definitely is one of the best of the Cloud ninja we got to meet. Even better than Killer Bee, since at least even as Darui is, he's honest with himself compared to Bee.

Omoi was pretty funny as well. Karui sucks because of her role in the debasement and ruining of Naruto as a character.

And I was expected Sakura gaining a new rival from that cover too... *sigh*. I wish Samui gotten more screentime and personality, she would've been the Android 18 of the series (and a better Oppai character than worthless Hinata).

Honestly, I don't think anything positive could have come from it. The more you think about it, the more stupid and deranged that scene is. Who the kitten is going to be so inhuman as to torture someone who volunteers that they might know something and also volunteers to be tortured to obtain that information (with the caveat that said torture will definitely not be successful)? Like imagine that the situation were reversed and Sakura did that to Omoi because she thinks he knows something about Kakashi being kidnapped. That would make Sakura look so kittening horrendous... It's IMO in really poor taste to have ANYONE do that but especially the kunoichi of the group.

 

And who is going to be crazy enough to do what Naruto did anyway? It would be one thing if it had ACCOMPLISHED SOMETHING, but it didn't. All it did was show how psychotic Naruto now is when it comes to his supposed "brother", no actual value for the characters themselves, just a form of twisted characterization.

Samui and her brother Atsui got trapped in the container that was for Madara (or was it the Gold/Silver brothers that somehow become relevant by being in Kurama's stomach?) After the war, they were released. No mentioned of them whatsoever.
