So The Last is getting delayed in The Phillipines until April 2016? Lol wut. Are they trying to get out of their contract or what? What "technical difficulties" could possibly take them 15 months to sort out.

It's only being delayed in SM cinema. I would imagine that since there has been no word on what other film organisations are reacting that the film is still set to premiere in their theatres.

and yup it's true. kishi and SP are losing money with this huge delay. and considering how long the delay is, i'm sure the hype will have long faded and people will lose interest. i hope "technical difficulties" reaches all the places the last is expected to screen.

Oh yes! Just read it too! For a second I thought the delayed would make the ending different, like, waiting for rewrite? But that's what I was thinking. Go back to sane-self, it's not gonna happened.

Oddly enough we don't even know the release date. That's why people were like "It's January...When is it?" So yeah, I really don't know.

@AHK: Fairy Tail new chapter is out. Next chapter should be good conclusion to the arc. The sad part is we can anticipate the next set piece much easier because it's logic. With Naruto, it's like rerouting GPS every missed turn.

Actually, that is the case. I think it's handling different from other releases. I mean the reaction in Philippines seems like all or nothing, rather than plan B.

Forgive me for saying this, but I don't think those standards would apply to The Philippines. Do you have any proof that shows SM Cinema being the only organisation to acquire broadcasting rights for The Last?
