At least the volume tamed the scene and made it better. Sure, it was a bit silly, but the magazine edition is even worse.

 

Whenever I think back on the Pein arc, more specifically its magazine incarnation, I always remember the chapter that was published with pages still in pencil because Kishimoto didn't have time to ink them lol

Yes, he never a villain. He's more like anti hero. Lost anti hero.

Kishi has no idea what to do with him after he defeat itachi.

Its one of a kind writing to write your whole story as misleading :roll: Its the first of its kind bc honestly I've never seen someone butchering literature & storytelling techniques to this level  focusing and developing on a certain bond so much just to turn it into a red hearing :twitch: JFC not  even an amateur would consider this as such :facepalm: .  

 

You know, I think I'm going to try Kishimoto's writing style. I'm going to get to the end of all my fanfics and flip the pairings in the epilogue! Then when everyone gets mad I'm going to tell them they were reading it wrong!!!  :zaru:
