Obito wanted to die so he was going to die no matter what. Prison wasn't an option for him. Though he should have been sent straight to hell for his crimes.

I talked to a nh fan on deviantart that's still complaining calling people trying to sign that fake banning petition extreme ns fans and keeps bashing at anyone upset with the ending thinking they're all ns fans, I tried to be nice and reason with him and explain why people hate the ending and even linked him the movie to show him how bad it is and he ignored all my points and didn't even read my entire replies and then this is what he says about the movie  (not gonna say his name because I'm not a jerk that would spread hate about a person, I'd rather not say the names  ) :

 

Its not bad actually. Here is my input: The animation itself is good not like the cheap animations you see, along with how Naruto has grown into popularity so here is my pros and cons about the movie

Pros: Animation is good like other Naruto movies
- Despite of the fact that it took a minute for Naruto to realize, but the emotions that moved in him to realize
-The fight scene between Naruto vs Toeni, Kurama vs Stone Guardian was detailed. I liked how it was made for Kurama to be away from him and to have that power
- The background story about the Tenseigan and how it ties to Hinata
- Those funny moments, personal favorite is Kurama writing on the moon when he implies that he is "horrible at writing"
-A plot that deals with two things with a side of romance tied in it. I like action but you have to put some romance in it.
-Naruto is finnaly growing up and seeing "other things..NOW GET ASH KETCHUM UP THERE!
- The suspense of maybe another Naruto movie. Toneri is defeated however he didnt die, but instead just not on the moon. You could say that it could bring another event maybe in a few years but a descendant of Kaguya is one of those people i would not trust.

Cons: The lack of development between Naruto and Hinata, as it was meant for them to get with each other, how it lacked....that tension.
- The memory part is a key element however it lacked something there, it felt open
- Lack of some characters actions, like Killer B. You would expect him to help but instead he fired a laser...yeah a little dissapointed there
- Sasuke screenage. Sure he managed to help out but a little bit of him..
- The kiss scene. I adore how Naruto propels himself with a Rasegan then blows the roof off, that was funny, however when they kissed, I was looking for the words of "I love you" from one of the characters.

Ratings: 8.1/10

You would make a love scene something more romantic however its understandable for how a character such as Hinata is kinda...well shy. I will admit Sakura could have been a canidate for Naruto's love options, however IF Sasuke had died..maybe just maybe because lets me honest. Sakura had eyes on Sasuke since they met, and is willing to kill the only person she loved, however Kishimoto well controls the characters and he can do whatever. So the person who wins is 
Kishimoto. 

Final Thoughts: You may say that the movie is bad but i like it its something I would watch again because its not about the pairings its not. And if i am wrong to express my opinion then let something horrible happen to me right now.

I'm not even treating this because "Oh it's the Last!" No, I can be harsh towards to RtN as well. Here, there are far too many. I'm not even done yet. Ok, back to the movie.

I'm following it and you bring up a lot of good points about how kitten this movie really is. It honestly is one of the worst movies I've ever seen. Even if you disregard the manga and look at the Last all on its own then it's still a terrible a movie as it's all over the place and jumbled into very incoherent scenes plus we all know the characters are completely unlikeable. I can't think of any real geniune positives for the film, and if there are any they are quickly overshadowed by the overwhelming amount of negatives.

right, not about the pairings when the movie is centered around hinata and most, if not all, of hinata's character is about nh?
