Then Sakura realized (lil. "opened her eyes") Oh... this scene was painful....! [writer's thoughts]
The novel (of the movie) reads this way:
"Rather than having the shock pass---she somehow understood this feeling
Here, this is not the same person as in the previous (my) world" [not to sure about this part]
is what Sakura thought in her heart.
[this part got me confused. Something about Sakura's situation and team 7 became pitiful/sad?]
So the person who posted that summary also read the novel, that's interesting.
I find that bolded part which is talked about in the novel very interesting. Maybe she's realizing how the Sasuke she's always fantasized about is completely different to the real one. And that no amount of wishful thinking isn't gonna change the way the real Sasuke is.
What other opinions do you guys have?

I shall reply to this with another quote.
I'm pretty sure theres like an arrow button on that quote above that can take you directly to the spot I posted it at.

"This hat means a lot to me. Promise me you'll give it back someday...
when you've become a great pirate." -Shanks

夜面の男がサクラに「お前じゃ相手にならない」と吐き捨てるのですがサクラは夜面の男を睨みながら
「本当の英雄が...みんなが命を懸けて守った世界を!里を!わたしは捨てられない!」
"You are no match."(Menma) spat at Sakura but Sakura scowled back
"The real hero... Preserving everyone's life and protecting the world! The village! I will not abandon!"
something like that
here's the written part five if you're interested
Wow you've done a really great job!
I'll try to take it from here
I'll skip the parts where the kanji is missing tho...
The moment Sakura set her determination, the masked guys (missing word here) to the village.
From here it becomes awesome!(writer's thoughts)
Naruto and Sakura each head towards the masked man
There, there was Minato, Kushina and many village shinobis held captive
Sakura gets shocked knowing that the masked man isn't Madara,
the masked man knowing that (probably Sakura) knows about Madara,
try to hit (probably Sakura).
And gets (missing word here) by Byakko which is manipulated by the masked man.
The masked man spits out to Sakura, "you're no match" but Sakura glares at the masked man and says,
"The world...the village....the real hero tried to save with his life....I can not abandon it!"
Sakura you are so cool! That's the Sakura I know....!(writers thoughts)
From here, Naruto starts to open his eyes.
Sakura gets captured by tennyo no hane(??? another being manipulated by the masked man) and she loses consciousness
Naruto immediately tries to rescue her, but Kushina stops him
The masked man uses a jutsu similar to rasengan and destroys the village
Sakura disappears with the masked man
From here it gets very heartrending...!
Naruto tries to go rescue Sakura again, but Minato stops him saying,
"We are not that brilliant....We can't throw our lives for somebody else
before we are a shinobi, we are human."
And Naruto finally notices.
These two are definitely not real. The parents who says they are shinobi before they are human.
"I'm going to go....because I'm a child of two heroes!"
I could really feel Kishi's will of him wanting to write about "ninja" (writer's thoughts)

Awesome, thanks.
While I'm heading to work, can you check part 4 over again? It's way back in this thread, but it's there. The other tried, but it was a bit hard. I hope you wouldn't mind.

She might feel disappointed in herself because she let herself get caught up by an illusion of Sasuke she knew wasn't real. That, plus the fact that she now understood a little about Naruto's loneliness probably made her realize how badly she acted with him, therefore wanting to apologize to him.

This.
She was foolish to think that not having parents would be the best, but instead, it only hurts her. Sasuke didn't help at all when she saw him. She just recollected herself that everything she thought was wrong. She didn't know Naruto has been feeling this way for 16 years, because he's the hero and seems like he's happy to be there. Now that she knows, she wants to say sorry for everything she did from the beginning. Also, the user admits his/her Japanese isn't that good, so best if you get someone else. That said since she knows this feeling of being not cared by Sasuke. Nothing new about it and the fact that he's not the same as real Sasuke, his view on Sakura remains the same. Also, she remembers team 7 at least according to that passage being well not good, hence that Sasuke is not the same, because the real Sasuke is corrupted and not even in Konoha. If anything, that scene makes her realized that Naruto is the one that was caring and understood everything, hence thinking about apologizing.

disagree because he did not say that she ran and cried. when she did it plus the fact he's not good on japanese i'll wait for ciardha because she said she will buy the novel, so lets wait until she reads it and post here.

Good point. Either way, it comes off as her remembering that the place is not real. Otherwise, she'll be saying, "He's so not Sasuke that I know. The real one would care for me." Nobody said that. She just ran away and feels foolish for her behavior on Naruto. It's no big deal. Oh the plus side, now we know Sakura was risking her life for Naruto. She even tried to be Naruto but sadly fails. Luckily, the true hero arrives on the scene.

Here's how I imagine it goes down in the novel:
At first she sees AU Sasuke flirting with other girls, gets sad and runs. Then, she feels disappointed in herself for placing her trust in him. Soon after, her disappointment in herself is reinforced by her understanding that this isn't even the real Sasuke that she knows.
In other words, she feels like a fool for letting herself get tricked by a Sasuke she knew was fake, especially when he did it by utilizing her immature vision of a perfect Sasuke.

This and of course acknowledging Naruto's strength to live alone despite all the fame he receives.
I would like to add. The fence scene was the beginning of waking up. Sakura vs. Menma awakens Naruto because of her bravery and her speech about the true hero. She was in place of Naruto, which he reminded of himself. It goes to show you how much Naruto means to her, especially her cry back in Pain invasion arc. She has the same love and care as Naruto. The last piece of waking up is her being captured. He tried to rescue her but stopped by Kushina. Then hastily, he rush to rescue Sakura, but his parents didn't want to risk it. Naruto is all about risking life for loved one, and Sakura is the best choice. He chose her because he realized that Sakura wants to go back home and so does he. If someone is going to be a true hero, he will be it, like the real world. I do wonder what does Sakura think of Naruto wearing her father robe?

I think what awakens naruto is when sakura get kidnapped ( yes she is kidnapped) then naruto says he's going to save her then minato says " before we are shinobi we are humans" then he realize that they are not his real parents and dresses up with 4th hokages cloak and kunai and go after sakura.

She wasn't escaping the world and leaving Naruto there. more like she was protecting his happiness because Madara was coming for them sooner then later in this world.
Edit: @ NaruSaku4ife I think she wanted to confront Madara is because of the cruel way of using these fake parents to trap Naruto into this world. she has to be very ticked off at Madara for using Narutos emotions like that.

My question: How is the movie canon & what do you mean NS Compilation in the DVD Motion Comic.
sashun08 answer: Naruto Shippuden (NS) compilation from naruto vs sasuke to the latest chapter of Naruto which includes one shot and RTN movie...so we thought it was a canon because it has connection between "One Shot" manga and RTN movie. There's a behind the scenes of making RTN movie.
