He wasn't worried about Sasuke, there was nothing Sasuke did to Obito that changed the war at any point. He helped Naruto out a bit, but Sasuke didn't add anything to that fight that Naruto couldn't have done himself. Obito knew what everyone else did: Sasuke was irrelevant.

 

I disagree, not only Sasuke helped on kabuto's elimination but with orochimaru back he brought back the kages and they helped the alliance a lot during the war

 

So yeah, Obito giving Sasuke the EMS and letting him to his own devices was a sstpid and naive mistake by his part or kishimoto's own stupid and contrived way to do things

If there is something I didn't understand in the story is why Obtio gave Sasuke his EMS and didn't made Sasuke fight for him at the war.
Instead he left Sasuke to his own stuff with led to the fickle uchiha changing his goals yet again and changing the tide of the war.

But without Sasuke there, would Orochimaru even be back? Juugo and Suigetsu would have no idea what to do.

Besides even if orochimaru somehow came back I don't see him bringing the kages back without Sasuke expressing interest

Orochimaru was brought back by the use of the curse seal, seeing as how that seal originated from Juugo, I think he would have at least known what to do. I think Orochimaru would have known he was far and away outclassed by the top tiers in the war, it wouldn't have surprised me had he gone himself to awaken the Kage, especially after he epiphany he had after monitoring Kabuto.

you are really trying to downplay sasuke 's actions aren 't you?

sasuke took orochimaru out of kabuto, juugo and suigetsu wouldn't even be there if sasuke wasnt there in first place .

i just want to show you guys how much planning (NOT) kishimoto put in his story , this is evidenced by the fact that even though obito supplied sasuke with a powerful weapon , the EMS , he simply forgot about him for plot purposes

Now I think about it, Sasuke add nothing to the villain side. Like nothing. Wow. kittening wow.

 

Not mention when he was a villain it was always under some one like in the First half of Part 2 (mostly) He was under Orochimaru's orders. The Second half (majority) he was under Obito's orders.  It wasn't until after his conversation with Itachi and Hashirama is when he started to take things into his own hands more so after Kaguya's fight.  Man I remember when that happened I was really really hyped when that face showed up in 692 like He's not joking around kitten's about to go down.  Oddly enough after 2 chapters Kishi just says yeah guys I'm getting tired the series will end in 5 chapters, God damn it Kishi .

My point is he did a heel turn at the end. For what? What do we get? Just to turn him good and lose an arm? That's it. No reasoning to make things groundbreaking. Like with Obito, he killed thousands of people, died with both of his eyes, got a resolution, declared the war, and so on. Sasuke finally turned bad only to go good. Nothing mean anything. Like wouldn't it be interesting if his revolution actually went through? Wouldn't it be interesting even Indra get a damn resolution? We got nothing. Just a new flip of coin with a new result. So stupid.

Asspull part? I mean the part where Orochimaru is back again from the dead. I have no idea how he remembers everything, but yeah, there you go.

True Naruto killed my joy, I never thought that a manga or anime could do that. The others series, fine the endings were not nice, but let's move on. Naruto killed my trust in choose and Manga in ongoing.

Orochimaru could have been a great villain. But like everything else in the series, he was obsessed with the Uchiha.

At least the volume tamed the scene and made it better. Sure, it was a bit silly, but the magazine edition is even worse.
