I think NS is already together. What would hold Hinata back from giving him this scarf if he wasn't taken? I don't know if Konoha has winter at the same time as we do, but right now it's October 10th in the manga. If she's so conflicted with this scarf and giving it to him, why the worry if he's single? Or did it take 2 years for her to man up?

 

There's also that possibility that Naruto went off to train or something, since we see him on rocks in the trailer (but that could just be during the mission and the movie will start off inside the village)

It's rather odd that the scarf comes in play now, as if to say, "movie exclusive." I'm still trying to figure out why do a timeskip if you only going through once. Like I said, "Hey, Kakashi is Hokage, but oh well, move over, Naruto's time."

Hmm let see ?  I  was originally thinking about the scarf gift   bc why do it  if Naruto is in relationship  it would seem weird , also why focus on Hinata's love  apart from that I can think of anything at the moment   . Though it doesn't bode well for HN that she hasn't made a move and remained distant from Naruto  for two years  its ridiculous bc it negates any progress for them in that time span  so it doesn't look like the relationship has gain some momentum  for it to go canon if anything this should be enough  to tell you that it won't and its just resolution .

me too. not that this style doesn't look nice, but I'll still miss her old one. She had it since she was a kid.

Speaking of that, it seems Kishi wasn't very creative with the new designs. He gave three of the girls side bangs even though they've never had them before, and now all the girls have side bangs except one, Hinata, who has clothing that resembles Sakura's style. It's weird because I think all of the characters we've seen so far have had pretty much the same hairstyle all their lives.

At least he didn't keep her with the hairstyle she has currently in the manga, I hate it. A lot of people seem to like it though..

I don't like how she looks in that picture posted above though tbh. Naturally, Kishi draws her best.

If Hinata want to give a gift to Naruto, that means that Naruto and Sakura aren't a couple...otherwise this could mean Hinata's trying to steal her boyfriend... LOL

 

Unless Sakura is already dating Naruto and just wants Hinata to give her the scarf and sort of whatever that mess was from the past and move on so she would stop stalking them when she is on a date with Naruto...nothing more unnerving than a stalker with X-ray vision.

Maybe Kakashi banned too logic in his village. Hinata actually believed it, so she couldn't do anything for 2 years. Naiive~~~~~
