The fence was a strong scene according to a lot of reviewers because Naruto was being separated from reality or in this case, Sakura. They didn't meet eye contact because they found themselves to be splitting up. Thankfully, Naruto woke up and becomes a hero in that world and to Sakura. Naruto didn't want her to die no matter what, so he put Akatsuki in charge to protect her, but Sakura wants to fight with him.

As for the bolded, your last sentence about movie brings it full circle in showing that Naruto needs Sakura as well. She keeps him grounded and is his emotional support; she is the one most consistently by his side and on his side.

I can go on, but in short, it's a deep bond.

Undeniably yes, it is. It's one of the most focused on bonds in the entire story, and I love the foundation Kishi has laid down for it!

And the lying - as if no other character in this entire manga has ever lied; lord forbid Sakura does it for purposes of trying to protect another person.

I really do hope we see a resolution to that whole fiasco one day. One way or another, the two should sit down and talk about it. Even now people still talk about the scene with a lot of confusion surrounding it.

Of course Kushina gets a pass -- she's not a romantic rival; rather, she's a potential shipper on board (depending on how people view her comment to Naruto in 503(?).

I can understand why people would like her for not being a romantic rival, but I just don't understand why she's put up in a pedestal when she is also very tsundere. By the same people who call Sakura a b*tch. The movie reinforces the idea with Kushina going into violent mode at least three times in the story.

Oh boy, have I heard some interesting interpretations over Kushina's shipper comments.

Plus, I'm still suffering from seeing lack of NaruSaku moments recently and now we finally get some in the 6th movie and we can't even see it until later. But honestly, how can you not think NaruSaku will be the end pairing after a movie like this? I know other fans like to say counting parallels are pointless, but that chained scene? How can that be a concidence? That completely convinced me right there.

As for Sakura escaping Itachi, I'm glad for that . It makes a lot of sense that she would disobey him and try and fight anyway. It's like showcasing the meaning of Sakura's "This time ... no matter what you say this time ... we will be together." line and her refusal for him to fight without her. Saying that though, I do wonder if Naruto was annoyed at first that Sakura didn't listen to him .

hmm if i was naruto i wouldnt be annoyed that someone saved me? XD i mean he WAS in tobi's genjutsu right? sakura was the only one keeping menma/tobo away from him when he was zoned out.(at leats thats what the reviews say)

Of course not. Sakura may put her life on danger, but that is because Naruto wasn't awake, so technically, he should blame himself for putting her on the battle. Nothing wrong with that in our views, but Naruto is that protective for Sakura. It has been said so many times, so it's no surprise. That said at least Naruto saves her from getting killed, so everything is all good.

I didn't really mean when it comes to romance. Also, I'm trying to compare to her to the average person, not really the average girl if you understand what I'm trying to say.

And, yeah, you're right, some aspects, not most aspects. For the most part, I was wondering if the average person would risk their life for someone else, or if the average person would break down if they faced some of the difficulties Sakura faces. That's all.

Ya know, if Sakura is supposed to be like the average person, and most fans seem to hate her and bash everything about her, does that mean that most fans hate the average person? Or does that mean they just hate reading about the average person? Or it might be just that they hate her for one reason (Part 1, pairings, etc), and then they try to come up with as much reasons as possible to justify their hate?

Honestly, I think the way most fans view Sakura is different than how Kishimoto views her. When he first created Sakura, he did say that he was bad at drawing females and his best "heroine" characteristic is a girl who does not understand men. He admits his first Sakura sketches were not an attractive female and on top of that her attitude at the beginning was not exactly pleasing but he stated she had a good head on her shoulder but Sasuke was her selfish love. He was her downfall. I think I remember reading that the reason Hinata is viewed more of a heroine than Sakura is because Hinata has a sad story and people can pity her. Sakura has a normal family life and even degrades Naruto because he plays pranks for attention and didn't have parents to punish him and blamed his lack of parents for his immaturity.

There is a small part of me that believes that Kishimoto wanted to give Sakura a sad story in Road to Ninja but still wanted to keep Naruto the main character. He wanted Sakura to feel Narutos sadness and learn from it. He wanted her to realize how lucky she is to have a family, even if they are picky and tease her, she at least have a family. Maybe to finally feel what it was like to care about someone (Sasuke) and them not care about you the way you wish they did (Naruto with Sakura). There is also a small part of me that believes that maybe Sakura feels bad for saying what she did about Narutos parents after realizing who they are and why they were not around when Naruto was playing pranks.

I knew Sakura saved Naruto but I guess I missed the part where she saved him after she ditched Itachi . But you're right, Naruto would blame himself more than her . Yes I do like it when Naruto saves Sakura's life. But it's refreshing to see Sakura return the favor every once and a while.

Yeah, she really wants to fight along side of him. I bet she would have back in Pain arc, but Naruto already requested everyone to back off. Plus, he was back and stronger than ever. But you can tell she was worried a lot, hence she hits him saying "You're so reckless as always." She hugs him for saving them. Funny, she should have tell him thank you and that's all or a high five. But no, she hugs him in front of Konoha no less, which is why everyone was in shocked expression. It's obviously seen as more than friends. Hugs are usually seen as a potential romantic light. People always look shock when a couple hug in a unexpected way. But you guys already know that.

Yes, she wants to fight with him, no matter what. I am so glad she has done that in the movie.

Ya know, I don't understand why Naruto's always saying, "Don't follow me, I can handle this on my own." A major message in Naruto is teamwork, yet it seems like even the main character of the manga hasn't realized it.

Well, Itachi did warn him that he shouldn't do everything alone, otherwise he will end up like Tobi or something like that. I really hope Kishi makes Sakura team up with Naruto while the rest are going to take down the awakening beast.

チャラスケは先日サクラに言った台詞と同じ事を女の子の言っています
そしてサクラは目が覚めるわけですが、もう、このシーン切ない…！
小説版を読むと、
｢ショックを受かるというよりは――どこかで分ｋっていたような気がした。
ここに、元の世界と同じ人間のどいはしない。」
とサクラは内心思っているんです。
サクラが絡むと途端に七班は悲しくなっちゃいますねブワッ
そしてサクラはナルトの家へ向かいます、自分の部屋にあった四代目の羽織を持って。
サクラはごめん、ナルト！と窓越しに声えおかけながら中を見ると、
なんとそこには楽しそうにクシナの誕生日祝う一家の姿が…！
すごく楽しそうに笑うナルトを目にします。
