Which begs the question, why Madara even do that in the first place? How is it that Nagato can do it greatly, yet Obito is struggling with one eye with both cells? That old discussion from the podcast really did bring up a good point.

Nagato raised with those eyes his whole life. Madara did that, to save eyes of his. Obito struggled that, because controling Hashirama cells itself takes some streth, and one eye with that much power - is big problem. Obito was only Uchiha with midcore ammount of chakra.

Ironic because the same applies to Sakura. She "loved" Sasuke because of Ino and used him as a way to top her, the only difference between her and Naruto is that she succeeded.

Absolutely. A great point that really shows how problematic and inconsistent Kishi has been with regards to romance. If anything, we actually see quite a few reasons for why Naruto loves Sakura. We don't ever really see why Sakura loves Sasuke except for the bench scene. Oh....wait

 

The Otsutsuki clan in general was a major letdown. They added nothing positive to the story at all and brought us two of the worst villains in the entire series.

 

I agree. They were just a vehicle for Naruto and Sasuke to get cheap power ups. And that really bothered me. The tension between the two was strong enough that Kishi didn't need to add some bogus reincarnation stuff. Moreover, in doing so, he invalidated one of the strongest themes in the Naruto manga; that destiny isn't the most important force in determining one's future. Sorry, Neji.

I know the comments and the picture are juvenile, but part of me sympathises with their frustration towards Hinata. She really doesn't deserve the publicity and attention that's being handed out to her.

Yeah, in the end Neji was right about destiny being what determines one's future. I guess Kishi wasn't thinking about the ramifications of killing Neji off in that manner when he decided on it. To him it was just a way to have a pairing moment between Naruto and Hinata.

I don't know. It seems like as relevant to that thing that grant all wishes in Bleach by Aizen. Why Nagato? Why do it in the first place? Why not hold on or whatever? What is the point? It just feel phoned in.

 

Oh I actually went back to the old chapters and yeah, I called bullsh** on the tablet. That tablet was once about the secret of MS and now, all the sudden it's life history with all those stuff? Really. It all happened, again, IN kittening KAGE SUMMIT!

 

Also, one thing I never get is that Pain wanted to create a powerful jutsu with all Bijuus, right? So, again, in that kittening arc, all the sudden, the moon eye plan now exist. Which one I supposed to believe to begin with? STOP CHANGING PLANS!!!!!!! GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They said it was a jutsu. It was stated by Jiraiya and Scroll Toad. So...retconned. As for Sasuke....no clue. All I can say is rereading these old chapters sure has more heart than last 6 years.
