I heard the movie was bad... Maybe tomorrow I will go to see it.

It mostly depends on whether you're a Tolkien purist or not. If you are, well, they've changed a number of things, and added Tauriel (which I love and adorbs but I'm not a purist when it comes to movies so..)and... so saad    

 

Still, Thranduil is kittening awesome and hot as fire.

I am a cinema purist too, not only a tolkien purist LOL Tauriel... Tolkiens fans calls her as the "jar jar binks" of the story...they really hate her though, and honestly me too, just a bit. (especially 'cause evangeline lily is nothing special as actress). I only cares if the battle of 5 armies is good as gold.

At the end of the second part of the chunin there were 20 genin left. To which the proctors decided that was too many and decided to cut that number in half. Meaning only about ten contestants are even let in to the final. Even if all those contestants passed that would mean only 20 contestants a year could become chuunin.

 

Now later on we are supposed to believe that there are over 80000 ninja just in the 5 main villages. Given 50 years without any chunin dieing or being promoted that only leaves around 1000 chunin, yet we are supposed to believe that this is the most common ninja rank.

That is true. I don't think he really thought that well. I guess that's why we never got the explanation on the full system of rank or rather reminded to earn Hokage title. Who knows. We were more focus on Sasuke, so I guess it didn't matter what's good for us.

I know, the same applies to me too. I just hope one day that Kishi realizes how much of a fool he is and apologizes for the amount of disrespect he has shown to his fandom.

Yeah, I don't believe the "red herring" statement. You want me to believe that an author who forgot to give two of his characters byakugan had the skill to develop a "red herring" for 15 years? Yeah, I'm not buying it.

 

The question now is what will it take? Will he do it on his own once the hype has died down a little or when his wallet starts to feel a little empty. Only time will tell.   

 

 

The ending is like a sudden brick to the face: unexpected, painful, and you wonder why anyone thought it would be a good idea in the first place. This whole situation is aggravating.

Oh but don't you know, it was all for "shock value".

That's not how you do it. It's not just about tricking people. You have to construct it in such away that when you reveal the twist, people will be like "Oooooh yeah. I see. That's actually makes sense".

But again, I liked it, there are quite a number of people who were put off by the changes PJ made. But anyway I still think it's worth watching :).
