True, one piece (and a few other things) is really like the only thing that can keep me coming back to this forum. Nearly all my passion for NaruSaku is pretty much gone at this point.
That can happen to you when a millionaire throws away character development for some more millions.

Well without it we wouldn't have this site so at the very least something good came out of it all, but with One Piece thankfully we'll never have to go through that again.

Law will slowly become the fan favorite, and Oda will sellout and make him pirate king instead!

You should ban yourself for making Oda pulling Kishi references for like the third time. You should also ban TK4L for drawing lines from Saucegay to Law, which is extremely disrespectful to Law, as that trash is nothing comparable to Law.

To be honest, Law could have the potential to be the Pirate King if this wasn't Luffy's story.
He's not goofy enough to lead a shonen series. Nobody would watch One Piece if he was the guy we followed all along instead of Luffy.

I'm not saying he would make a good lead for a series, just that I think him and a few other characters have the power and ambition to do it if this weren't a shonen series.He's not goofy enough to lead a shonen series. Nobody would watch One Piece if he was the guy we followed all along instead of Luffy.

Honestly, I don't know what you two were expecting out of Law.
His role in the story is to act as an ally to the straw hats, and he's been playing that role just fine. I think anything extra towards his character is just a bonus.
Regardless, Oda must be doing something right considering he's the second most popular character right now.

Well, I was just going off the latest popularity poll which he is ranked #2 on. I know that doesn't represent the entire fanbase, but it's at least worth something.
He's not my favorite character, but I wouldn't say that he's boring.

As far as Law's abilities go he's kind of a one trick pony. If Zoro can overcome Law's DF abilities then yeah I think Zoro would win in a 1v1. Not to mention we haven't even seen Zoro's full potential post time skip yet.
