Well Dragonballs is. DBZ has some things to do with them, but they take a back seat to the fighting.


Were you happy with the DBZ pairings? Like did Goku/Chichi and Vegeta/Bulma fit together?

I don't think anyone ever cared about the pairings because the actual series was aromatic. It's hard to judge whether or not people fit together, because literally there was zero focus on romance. They were just kinda put together and no one really said anything.

Well like many I got into DBZ cause of Toonami back when it came out in the late 90s I want to say. So Goku and Chi Chi were already together. Bulma and Vegeta were odd too, but honestly the fact is you pretty much knows its going to happen because Trunks shows up confirming it. lol I don't know how big of a deal it was back in the manga days. I'm sure some Yamcha Bulma fans may have been pissed.

 

So I really can't say it bothered me much, I didn't know about Dragonball the original series till much later. Goku and Chi Chi got along well though and I really liked them. They reminded me a lot of NS in that regard the strong protagonist hero who is kin of stupid, and the made of iron woman who yells at him a lot of doing stupid things.

Uhg and now Naruto's on.

 

I used to DVR the episodes, and was happy when it came back on Toonami.... then the ending came. Now I can't even watch it knowing the kitten that will follow.
