Who expects Kishi to make good on those two additional pages/chapters in the volume edition of the epilogue? Nothing has been expressed regarding them lately in spite of the fact that they're due next month.

I admire their determination, but they're placing faith in the wrong man. Kishi is not going to become the saviour who rescues them from the pits of despair and agony. He's the false teacher, a wolf in sheep's clothing.

"Eh" is not quite the same as "No". The former implies weariness and hesitancy, not a blatant denial of his false logic and butchery of the manga.

This ending could be a symbol how series can't end. It's practically set in stone so many wrong messages and stereotypes:

- Though the whole manga fans of Sakura was praising her for development, haters saying she is useless. In the end? All her development went down the drain, she is fangirl that she was when we saw her for the first time. She being the best medic of manga, shown as wife that only waits her husband while cleaning dust. Those who insulted her character in the end - becoming right one.

- Good guys ends last. Sulery, Naruto don't have so much benefit as Sasuke in the end, he didn't become hokage on his own, didn't have girl he loved for 99% of story, became bad father.

- Bad guys always get out with their deeds. So... how Sasuke was punished? Nothing, he get out of Kohona on his own, left girl that waited for him...

- General plot being changed because of popularity of some characters (Hinata to heroine).

- So much bs about conclusive ending, and a totall sell-out for purpose of creating another spin-off for more $$$

- 70% of plot questions didn't get any resolve in manga.

- In epilogue, you could think we will see all those who was important to the story, but died in procces of it. Who we all saw? Neji... secondary character, who is relative to a minor character who was promoted to heroine only because of loud voices of her fans. None other.

- Money got upper hand on sending possitive message though the story.

There's still enough of the fanbase remaining to keep Naruto on the map. The question now is how much the spin-off film expected to earn? It could as much as a standard Naruto film and that might be perceived as a financial success.

I am happy to see the much of the fandom, outside the sailors of the corrupted ships, are still fighting against the ending.

Anything that garners more than what was expended in the production and promotion of the film will be considered a success. Given the fact that this film is likely to have only a fraction of the time for creation and polishing as The Last, I would say that the budget for it is pretty standard for Naruto. If a decent net profit can be earned it's a technical success. And I would hazard to guess that maybe 30-40% of the fandom (NH, SS, some neutrals, and casuals) still remains.
