someone please explain to these people again who obviously missed it when the "wait for me" comment was in alot of the ads that what is said is omea, not sure if that's spelled right, the term naruto uses for his PEERS!!! I am sick of this overreacting....

Well apparently the trailer today had that line, but with the word "Hinata" in front of it. So it likely is directed at her. (Though the possibility of dialogue manipulation still remains.)

She watched Road to Ninja with me and said that one movie cannot conclude a pairing in her opinion. She didn't even know that movies for Naruto existed in the first place before I told her. And believe me, she was once a hardcore fan, although that isn't the case anymore since Madara died for real  
And to be honest, I think she's right. I won't stop people to jump the ship or whatever, but it's stupid to do so when the manga's end isn't revealed yet. Just imagine for one second: What if we are indeed canon in the epilogue? Is the movie's theme totally destroyed or not? Is Hinata's goal to actually be with Naruto or does she just want her feelings to reach? 

I agree, and why can't people see that the trailer is misleading? every naruto movie trailer was misleading, heck even the new godzilla movie was misleading since there was hardly any Godzilla in a Godzilla movie and japan hated it so bad not only did they buy the godzilla movie and make that godzilla fat but they banned america from making any more godzilla movies themselves xD

It has nothing to do with Hinata. It's money, Hinata means more money. They could give two kittens about her character aside from the fact that she makes money.

You know how it work? Like if NS canon already in manga, than they look at the trailer and will be like "Eh...what? Let me see that". And NH fans will be like "OH GOD, I KNEW THAT IT WAS NIGHTMARE" *runs to the cinema*. Teasing is all that I can say. But someone will get TONS of cash from running this in their cinema.

Yeah, I know. Looks like she's listed under Naruto in a lot of movies. The old movies she's listed under Sasuke and then Kakashi after her. I never doubted Sakura would be a secondary character in this movie anyway, so yeah.

I thought Blacbird made a great point about it not making sense for Kishi not to resolve pairings in the manga. (It may have been a post in the debate thread.)

But I still can't help but have reservations on that. I'm on the fence, there. I certainly hope Kishi does resolve pairings next week.
