In a weird way it kind of reminds me of how Karin is also bold when it comes to her feelings for Sasuke. I guess a character trait of the Uzumaki clan is how they take a direct approach when it comes to their intentions.

That's how I see it. It's a great development. Kishi sure knows how to leave a cliffhanger for NS. It's like reading, "Can they be lovers? Read the manga to find out! Get volume 1 today!"

So, I was right about the blush. I mean she said not much if you compare to the later one with her being all embarrassed. So that means she was definitely shocked. This keeps better and better.

Hey guys can someone explain to me Menma's real personality? I quite didn't understand if he is good or evil, from what I heard after Naruto defeats him his hair turn blond again. I know that he was controlled by Tobi but I also heard that he was a shinobi hunter or something like that :/ I'm kind of interested to know everything about it since I kinda made a short AU Menma x Sakura doujin Thanks in advance!

Menma does not initially fuse with Tobi. Remember how Naruto said in the manga that he could've easily been like Sasuke if he gave into the darkness and ended up hating Konoha? That seems to be what happened to Menma. According to Shadow, Menma was living a 'double life' -- he was secretly collecting the biju in the AU world. Tobi fuses with him later on.

On another note, I'm curious as to which spoilers are true and which spoilers bend the truth. Some spoilers are saying that Sakura does kick major arse and others are saying she's defeated very easily- unless I'm confusing fights or something!

In the first battle, Sakura was easily defeated by Menma and captured. After Naruto comes to save her, he briefly forgot about everything. until he saw a scroll that looked like a swirl and reminded him of the rasengan. Sakura briefly helps Naruto at this time.

Yes, she did watch Road to Ninja. There are about five NaruSaku friends I know who are from Japan. One of them (known as Bobby) tends to have her blogs linked to this forum a lot. Speaking with them, from Japan, is limited since I we have to translate our conversations. There is an Indonesian NaruSaku forum who has a lot of members who are amazing in support and also someone from China said they found my NaruSaku doujin on a Chinese NaruSaku forum site and asked to translate it into Chinese for them. I was blown away by the amount of Narusaku love all over the world.

But back on topic, I am looking for more detailed answers for you but like I said, it takes time.

This is not from me is from someone who saw the movie, I normally pay attention when someone is speaking or explaining something.

That's why I said that accepting something and ignoring the rest only make us biased. Just like SS holding and the thank you scene but ignoring the murder attempts.
Sorry if I sounded rude is just that NS is so obvious/logical (we have so much on our side) but people still refuse to accept some facts that hurts the pairing NS is nor perfect, nothing in this world is perfect.

Actually Sakura is the one that parallels Naruto, the flirting in chapter 245 (doesn't pay any attention to the fact Konoha's legendary pervert no less- Jiraiya, and her shishou- Tsunade are right there), the attempted suggestive feeding in 343 (doesn't notice Sai is right there nor of course Teuchi and Ayame), the romantic embrace of Naruto in front of the whole village in 450 (so yeah her parents would have seen that), and her confession (the only time she showed some shyness, but it was expressing deeply personal feelings in front of not just Naruto, but an audience made up of other people. Naruto showed a similar shyness when Sai just outright talks about it right on the street. Asking for a date or expressing things physically isn't as deeply personal as stating your feelings (Note when Hinata confessed to Naruto and Sakura confessed to Sasuke neither looked the person they were confessing to in the eyes. Hinata had her back completely turned to Naruto, who was pinned to the ground and Hinata thought she was about to die with Naruto, but still she can't look at Naruto. Sakura couldn't look at Sasuke- she stared at his back and they were alone. Sakura showed the force of her love for Naruto by looking up at his eyes shyly and blushing as she says she loves Naruto twice, and says it in front of an audience to boot.

Even Tsunade when she almost confesses her feelings to Jiraiya, they were alone at night, but she does indeed look at Jiraiya in a kind of similar way as she starts to say her feelings... Before Jiraiya cuts her off with a jerkish comment- which didn't work as well as it had every other time, she just got irritated, not angry. And when he can't hold back anymore from alluding to his feelings, in a poorly concealed joking way, she plays along with the joking tone, but makes sure she hints at her feelings with her words.

Basically, Jiraiya does know when he leaves Tsunade actually loves him, but he chooses to lie to himself that he failed. The truth would have hurt way more- realizing if he hadn't made jerkish comments and then made perverted come ons all those years, she would have said yes to him a long time ago. Better to die lying to himself that he'd never reached her, than that his own defense mechanisms were the cause of her not saying yes years ago... Tsunade's flashback about Jiraiya showed she had feelings for him way back, and certainly by the time he asked her to come back to Konoha to become Hokage, if he had alluded to his feelings like the way he did she would have enough life experience to catch what he was strongly hinting at. Certainly Tsunade was blunt about her plans that if he made it back she wasn't going to let him retreat behind his defense mechanism anymore. (too bad we won't see this, it would have been hilarious, yet romantic.)

And on a personal note I'm feeling a bit better after a couple of hours sleep, choco's translation of a bit of part 4 of that almost certainly Japanese person's review makes that the second Japanese person who said Sakura's fighting was good. I note the person who said her fights were lame- Shadow is a gaijin cuurently living in Japan who, makes no bones about being a Sakura basher and a Hinata's breasts worshiper... Hmm, what sources are more credible? Good research practice says the two Japanese viewers...

Merry, choco did a bit on the last page. Choco is definitely better than me on understanding spoken Japanese, and probably more proficient on written Japanese too. I can only read Japanese on about a second grade level, sigh. So I have to use my giant sized kanji dictionary, a couple of Japanese-English dictionaries, and a couple of grammar books with the different tenses for words to do my translations.

basically this is what I got from it... this is where sakura finds out that sasuke hits on all girls and and feels shameful. She wants to apologize to naruto and meets him at that fence scene. After she realizes Naruto likes this world, Sakura is determined to defeat Madara by herself. The writer loves how Kishimoto made Sakura a true heroine in this scene

It's hard to see what kanji that is, from the picture lol. I tried, though!

It means "attain, reach, arrive" etc. Although when I put it into bing, it translates to "our" :c I don't know. And if I put in the sentence with the kanji I found, it translates to "And Sakura anime better than us." Doesn't really make sense, but what can you expect from online translators?

Hinata had her back turned to Pain because it would not have made any sense for her to be looking at Naruto, because then she would have her back turned to the enemy. Not looking into Naruto's eyes doesn't change anything. As for Sakura's confession to Sasuke, I doubt she was planning to confess to him, I think "I love you!" just kind of came out. Besides, it would be weird that she decided to confess, so she walked to stand in front of him and stared right into his eyes. I don't think Hinata/Sakura not looking into the eyes of Naruto/Sasuke matters, especially since they were pretty desperate confessions imo.

^^Agreed. Although, I personally believe Sasuke will die in the end but in the same matter Itachi did for Sasuke. Long explanation and not the right forum to talk about this in. ^^

I can agree that Sakuras confession was out of desperation (at the bench scene) in order to keep Sasuke in the village, to which Sasuke rejects her. If he wanted Sakura that badly in a relationship, he had thousands of opportunities to take her...but he didn't. Not because he believed Sakura would be safe in the village than with him but because he simply didn't want her.

For Hinata though, it was more out of resolve for herself than anything, in my opinion. If Naruto couldn't defeat Pain, I kind of assume Hinata was expecting to die right there and figured, "Hell, might as well confess since I am going to die anyways". I also think Kishimoto used Hinatas confession to push Naruto overboard into the 9-tails so it was also used to quicken the plot. Notice how her confession was less than 2 pages long including the confession AND her fighting?

1) To feel shame for misplacing her trust on Sasuke and realize how childish of her it was
2) To understand Naruto's loneliness to the point that she wants to confront the enemy to preserve his happiness in this world
2) To deny that they where on a date at the beginning, only for her to acknowledge it as the longest date ever at the end

I think we can conclude that if Sakura ended up with anyone other that Naruto it would automatically make this movie the mother of all awkwardness.

So, would this awkwardness also include Sai asking Naruto if he loved Sakura and when Sai told Sakura that even he could tell Naruto loved her? Poor Sai. He will never get a break.

So obviously this movie supports Naruto and Sakura's relationship, and even hints at it being romantic. The question I have is this, why is Kishi doing this now? Is all of this leading up to something? Is he just throwing a bone to NS shippers who are starved for NS interaction? Is he pulling a massive troll similar to the previews?

I personally think it's leading up to something, what that is I can't be for certain, but I'd bet that when the rookies arrive to help Naruto we are finally going to get our long awaited pairing drama. This movie is probobly a sort of preparation, or understanding point. I believe Kishi wants to make fans understand where he stands on his characters, how he made them to feel, that way there's less confusion with these upcoming Team 7 related scenes that I foresee in the near future. Honestly I'll be kind of disappointed if Hinata barges in on them. I really only care about Team 7 right now. In fact, the less Hinata the better, she already got her character development scenes. I think she should let Tenten or Kiba get some screen time. I'm going to stop here before I get really OT.
