After the immediate danger blows over and if Naruto and Sakura are left alone after the fight, then I can really see something happening kinda like: Sakura could finally have her breakdown, I think she may cry and be sad but I think this may be the first time in the manga where Naruto would actually embrace Sakura. Maybe no kiss, but good snuggling and what not.

But yea, I think Sakura at some point in the next chapters will have a breakdown, whether Naruto is there to comfort her or not, I really think she is going to have her emotional train wreck and then Kishi would start building her up from there. I can totally see that.

My two cents worth-

I don't think the Naruto/Sasuke showdown can possibly happen in this chapter. Its just not possible. Max will be that Naruto and Sasuke have a we-used-to-be-friends type convo where Naruto's all "Sasuke...what happened to you?" and Sasuke goes all emo saying no one understands him and his entire clan was lost and he just wants revenge...just when things look like they're gonna pick up Madara will appear and magic his minion away.

Totally in agreement with what naruto-z said a while ago...we just have to admit that yes, Sakura has feelings for Sasuke- but at the same time she has STRONG FEELINGS FOR NARUTO. The thing is, what's love (the real thing) based on? Obsessive hankering after a guy because he's hot and always tops his class at ninja school?
Or caring so deeply about someone ("in a friendly way") that you
a) spare him from the all-important truth ONLY because you know it will devastate him
b) weep while healing him from grievous wounds because you wish you could do more
c) realizing how blind you are for not knowing he was in love with you all along
d) acting upon this realization by attempting to unburden him from his soul-consuming promise to you in the fastest way possible
and e) know that mere words on your part are not going to stop him, so taking it upon yourself to do what HE PROMISED YOU THAT HE WOULD DO ALONE and save him the bother =)

She OBVIOUSLY cares much more deeply for Naruto than she cares about Sasuke- all that has to happen (and it will take some time) is for her to reflect upon her old feelings for Sasuke and realize that those were adolescent pangs and not real love, and to realize with a shock that the undefined feelings she had for her other teammate Naruto were ACTUALLY the real thing. Cmon, she TOLD NARUTO SHE LOVED HIM EVEN THOUGH SHE THOUGHT SHE DIDN'T. To Naruto (had he believed her) this would be the ultimate gift. She wanted to make him happy so badly that she denied her feelings for Sasuke, whatever they are at this stage of the manga. If that isn't deep feelings, or love- then I really don't know what is! Sakura started off as an extremely selfish person, but has made the transition to being selfless. She is trying to put aside what she wants/hopes for and make Naruto happy, because in the end she cares about him more than she does about Sasuke.

Furthermore, people fail to remember that Sasuke is part of Akatsuki now. Whatever his motives, his goals are ultimately what Madara wants him to do, and Madara wants him to nab Naruto. Do you REALLY think Sakura is going to stand aside and let Sasuke kill Naruto because of her "romantic feelings" for Sasuke? NO WAY. She'd stick by Naruto and fight to the death to save him if she had to- regardless of her feelings for Sasuke.

Anyway, just my opinion.

I agree with you 100% Dattebayo.
This was an interesting chapter.I was so happy when i saw last page, and of course I'm happy because sasuke don't gives a kitten for sakura. OMG he try kills her 2 times in the row.
Before Danzo vs Sasuke fight I'm sympathized with Sasuke and understand his wish for revenge. But now he over do it.He wants kill everybody in konoha. An innocent people who has nothing to do with the uchiha massacre.

Well,
I really don't know what will happen in the next chapter.
I think :
- naruto yells at Sasuke and vice verse. I wonder what craziness will sasuke bring to us this time,
- they wont fight, Sasuke is exhausted,
- madara intervenes and takes Sasuke away.
- I see Sakura being hurt and madara takes her as hostage.Damn, she is very important to Naruto.
- sakura surprises Sasuke and stabs him with kunai for real this time.( Kishis heroine part)
Of course Sasuke wont die.His redemption or death is reserved for Naruto.
Idk, all this sakura trip looks silly to me. I think all along that this is Sakuras arc and she will develop somehow.We saw her fall but what will happen next to her ?Return to konoha and nothing accomplish?,So i think sakura isn't finish with Sasuke thing yet.
Kishi, please, o please i don't wanna see Naruto crying over sasuke again.( Neither Sakura)

Cant wait for next chapter. I'm dying to see interaction between Naruto i Sakura.

Or how about if Kishi plays deja vu with us? what if he makes the same thing when Mizuki was about to kill Iruka and Naruto comes and hits Mizuki saving him? I'm beginning to think Kishi will do that. Naruto still can't get through the idea of killing Sasuke but Sasuke charges at him ready to kill him with his sword or with Sakura's kunai and just like that Sakura punches him sending him flying. She saves Naruto and she says that exact words Naruto told Mizuki with Iruka.

"If you lay a hand on Naruto I will kill you!"

That's not like Naruto at all however he could hug her warmly. After all he was worried sick about Sakura going on her own to kill Sasuke and when he arrives the first thing he sees is Sasuke ready to cut Sakura's throat with a kunai, how do you think he must be feeling right now? he understands perfectly why Sakura lied to him in the rookies decision to kill Sasuke thanks to Sai. Also Naruto will never be angry at Sakura he loves her too much to snap at her. However like I said before N/H fans are expecting he will get angry at her and reject her in the process, so that when he returns to Konoha he will go and find Hinata and get together with her. I'm telling you that they aren't even trying anymore.

While I would REALLY like to see that, I still think that Sakura will be in shock mode for a while. I think that she will still try to help Naruto but since she fails to protect Naruto with him saving her, no less, she'll be on super guilt trip. I hope that I'm wrong but that a possibility that I can't neglect .

I truely feel bad for Sakura an everything she just experienced within five minutes of seeing Sasuke u.ę Its real terrible, Naruto can't be angry with her, for one it's not like him and two, she's gonna be in trauma so she needs him now more then ever.

This experience will make her stronger Shippu-Chan. Of course, Naruto won't hate her, he'll probably be a little mad at her to do this alone but depending on how Sakura will be ( which I believe that will be on trauma mode or near) he won't stay mad for long.

Well yeah it'll make her stronger in a way and her and Naruto can finally decide what to do with Sasuke together, oh and Sakura probably is way over romantic feelings now ^^ thank god... I still feel bad for her though u_u
