Ok, we have a full league, it was a bit scary there, the NFL was locked out, I had to track down our former champion, and I forgot my password on Yahoo. It was password1.

But now we can move forward, and set a date for the draft. How does Saturday, august 20th 5 PM est sound?


Note:Please remember the draft order is random. If roninmedia gets the 1st pick, its pure coincidence. We all like Nee Sama . Only if its I who picks first, should you all be suspicious.

I can do a Sunday, but they are not as open as Saturday, so I'm probably going to be a bit picky on time.

Anyday is fine with me, as long as its before 6pm et. I usually gotta be to work between 7-8 pm.

Sunday is better for me. I'll be out on the river on Saturday and I'm not sure what time I'll get in. Then again, having Yahoo draft random players for me would almost have to be better than what I'd do.

Which reminds me, this year, EVERYONE MUST PLAY COMPETITIVELY FROM START TO FINISH. Please folks, set your lineups each week, no matter how bad you may be doing, you ruin it for everyone else if you stop mid season. If you mess up once, then fine, but if we get to a bye week and I see a 0-4 team withing players on the bye still starting on that team, you'll get a warning. If it continues or you become unreachable, then we'll find a new owner for that team.

What if another person here besides Raven wants in, could we change the league back to 14 teams from 12? Possibility of more incentives. $ $

We do get incentives right or is this only for fun? Because either way works.

I have no objection going up to 14. It seems like it makes it a bit more important to hit on your early draft picks because you'll be filling out the bottom of your roster with actual #3 receivers as bye week players or replacements which may work and may not. But that might be an oversimplification from somebody that tanked on his draft - both early and all the way down. (I think that Best and Collie were my only good picks.)

I pretty much agree. Filling up WR#3 was such a pain because we were skimming the bottom of the barrell. I have no objection it increasing it to 14 if Raven can find another person to join him.

I'm cool with expanding to 14 teams, but if we do we MUST cut down on bench spots. I played in a league last year with 14 teams and 6 bench spots - it was ugly. Seriously, we were fighting over the likes of John Kuhn.

If we go to 14, drop the bench spots to 4 or 5.

In his defense John Kuhn had a really good season.
