Kishimoto wakes from his bed. Attached to the side wall, opposite from his bedroom window is a kunai. On the kunai is a note that reads, "Tell us the conclusion on the NaruSaku, SasuSaku, NaruHina debate or the next kunai wont miss. Love, your fans. <3"

Do you know nothing of love?
Yes, opposites attract. But similars stay together.
My god, that is truly pathetic proof. My friend goes on the whole theory on "Hinata is a better person, more accepting, blah blah blah..." It drives me nuts! Yes, Hinata is a nice person, but she's not BETTER.
Naruto and Hinata have drifted away, and lost their similarities. Hell, I don't think Hinata even knows that Naruto has a 9 tailed fox inside him. That would be a rather shocking surprise for the start of a realtionship.
Naruto: Hinata, from the aproximately 30 minutes I have spoken with you from these four years, I realize that Sakura is a slut and tried to steal me from you. Opposites attract and that is a natural law proven by many people. Oh, and by the way, I have a fox demon inside me that nearly destroyed the village some 15 years ago. I love you?
I think not.
Oh and I forgot that that little dialog up there should be horribly mis-spelled and written with poor grammar.
This is mainly directed towards the 'tards. I have nothing against Naru/Hina shippers with legitmate reasoning and good use of the English language.

To be honest, the oppisites attract argument is not really worth addressing for two reasons. First, most who site it don't get the saying right and, second, as I pointed out, its just a saying. Thus, it really doesn't prove anything. The only reason I addressed it before was because I finally got tired of seeing it repeated, so I thought I would explain why I considered it such a poor argument. Also, I needed to vent a little. I probably will not address this particular one anymore because I don't consider it a serious argument, and because I've learned that it will continue to be used regardless of what I say.
I don't mean to insult the poster who used it, but I don't know any other way to say it. Such cliches are not very compelling arguments.
Well, I wouldn't say that. They simply haven't interacted and we know very little about post-time skip Hinata other than the fact that she cannot deal with Naruto's presence. There is no reason to believe that their similarities have ended, but the fact that they are similar only proves two things (1) that they are similar, and (2) its possible that they might be compatible on some level. It's one thing to say this relationship could work if they were to get together, but it is another to say this pairing will happen. The similarties argument tends to establish the former, while one most focus on the specific events of the manga to establish the latter.
Also, no I don't think Hinata knows. In fact, I think only Sakura and Sasuke know (at least among the younger generation). I doubt any of the other rookies are aware of it. At least there is not evidence to suggest that they are. However, whatever else Hinata may be, she is a kind person. Might she be a little shocked andfrightened when she first learns about it? Sure, that's significant news. But I'd bet that after some relfection she would accept him as well. I suspect Sakura's initial reaction was something like that, though I admit that I have no idea (and may never know) what her initial reaction was. To be honest, it is difficult to believe that her reaction was instantaneous acceptance.
The impression Kishimioto gives is that the rookies plus Neji's teams would accept him regardless of whether he held the Kyuubi or not. Thus, I think Hinata would ultimately accept him, but, on the other hand, she would not stand out in this regard either.
Howwver, sometimes, I think more is made of this knowledge than should be. While I think Naruto would be greatful for the acceptance, such graditude is not love. I think that at this point in time, the significance of Kyuubi in terms of romance is that Sakura's acceptance removes what could have been a significanct roadblock to a relationship. True, it means she has something that Hinata doesn't and it does give her a slight edge, but only a slight one. I have my doubts that Kyuubi would be a serious roadblock to NaruHina.
Now, could it lay the foundation for a NaruSaku romance? I think so. By this I mean that whenever they sit down and have a heart to heart about it, that this could (and I think will) result in a very significanto change in their relationship. Of course, this is speculation. In any case, my point is that we should be careful about overemphasizing the significance of Sakura's knowledge of Kyuubi. Personally, I it would have been better if she had found out from him or in his presence. Finding out in the way she did meant the conversation can be avoided until someone (most likely Sakura) decides to force the issue. Ultimately, Sakura is unique in this aspect right now, but I think Sakura's accpetance of it is its most significant aspect, not the fact that she knows and Hinata does not.

Even if they accepted Naruto, they would still require him to submit to main family and Naruto wouldn't do that.
Urazz's Sister: I cut myself.
Urazz: Take it like a man even if your a woman.
Urazz's Sister: Ok!
*Urazz's Sister kicks Urazz in the groin.*
Urazz: $%^&*#
Urazz's Sister: I dunno. I'm sure it's much better to take it like a woman. That was evidence to support my theory.
*Urazz whimpers like a baby*

NaruHina.
If anything Hinata should be credited for, it's for noticing Naruto's potential, his will and so forth. If she at least brought it to his attention that she did notice we might not be speaking here and a couple could of already have been decided. From episode one we have noticed that she is a silent watcher of the boy. It almost seems like she's stalking him in a way. However, their communication has been limited down to maybe 30 minutes at the most through the entire series. Her major debut was in my opinion, and every one elses, in the chuunin exams. She um, gave him a bottle of medicine. Err, well, it's a start. But from there Naruto began to cheer her on, yet totaly oblivious to the fact that she likes him. Naruto did, if anything to the girl, give HER much needed confidence. However, besides the medicine and maybe one of the fillers in the anime, she has done not much for the boy. Then again, not many people have. After that, we don't here much from her. In part II we catch a glimpse of her as she faints at Naruto's presence. Over the two years she has yet to grow more confident of her feelings to Naruto. After that, and to this day, we have yet to see anything from Hinata. And really since the Chuunin exams, we still haven't seen really anything. Also, we must come to the realization of the fact that it's damn near impossible for Hinata to date the guy. She can't, the Hyuuga family wouldn't allow it. Especially not the Main familly, at least. Sadly, I see no future of Hinata becoming a couple with anyone we know. Not Naruto, not Kiba, not even Neji (which is by far her best chance.) since he's in the branch family. However, she'll probably be arranged to wed. So I don't think we'll know who she ends up with. Sadly, I don't see much hope between the two.
SasuSaku.
Of all couples, I disapprove of this the most. Out of ANYTHING that's happened, this has been a foolish child crush, and I believe over the two and a half year time skip, Sakura has matured to realize that it was only childhood crush. The ONLY credible proof that Sasuke gives a damn about Sakura is that when he did knock her out, he placed her on the bench (which wasen't even magnifyed to the point that it mattered.) I believe since Naruto's absence that she looks at Sasuke as a brother since the time they spent together. Sakura has NO reason to even like Sasuke. He's been mean, uncaring, downright rude, emotionless, hell, he dosen't even thing about her. The only thing that Sakura noticed was he was maybe handsome, and was well, acting like a bad ass. Besides saying "Thank you" once in the series to her, he's barely complimented her. Maybe also with the Chuunin exams, when he almost killed the sound-nin, but I don't think he even knew what he was doing. Sakura was blinded by her emotions through the time, or maybe she was just stupid by her age. I'm not sure. Like many children in this age, there's always going to be a guy all girls will have a crush on. It's a trend and Sakura was in that trend. Also with her encounter with Sasuke with Orochimaru's hideout, she didn't show all the emotions I thought she would. Sasuke didn't care what Naruto and Sakura did to get to that point. The only person who did was maybe Naruto. All in all, I find the evidence to how the two care for extreamly lacking.
NaruSaku.
For the most part, NARUTO, not Sakura, but NARUTO has shown the most credibility about his feelings for Sakura. Since day one we have all known that Naruto has had a crush on the girl. I can't count on my fingers and toes how many times Naruto's saved her life. Still, blinded by her childhood emotions, she never truly noticed. Not untill Sasuke was gone, and Sakura could actually she what was going on. My favorite quote to prove this is, "He's always understood me." -Naruto Episode 110. However, I belive Naruto at this points realizes that Sakura really does like Sasuke. And from future episodes, I.E. when Naruto tried to prove himself that he was as good as Sasuke in his early childhood from flashbacks, that he put himself down and figured he never stood a chance for Sakura to return the feelings he gave her. In such, he felt he didn't want to get in the way. The best way to prove this is his facial expression that Naruto gave Sakura before he said, "Sakura really does love Sasuke." His face at first was somewhat down and depressed, as if he realized something, then he lifted his face up and gave her the "nice-guy-pose" and made the promise of the life time. Though, from further examination, his hands as he was giving a thumbs up, were shaking. I thought that he was gonna cry when I first saw it. In such, I think Naruto does what he does so Sakura will be happy, yet being selfless and not worrying about how he feels. I believe his feelings are still there, but he refuses to let them show. And he refuses to let her feel bad. Another good example is episode 140 when he gets stabbed in the back for Sakura when he defenitly had an open shot at Arashi while he was distracted. He could of killed the thing easily, but instead he selflessly got in the way of the blow and got stabbed in the back. On not two episodes back he saved her two times when he could of died himself. One is when he pushed her away from the rising and falling bamboo sharpened sticks, and could of got stabbed. The second was when she fell into that pit and threw her out as he slipped in. He's proceeded in saving her many times but only know she's noticed since Sasuke isn't there. In part two she's grown and has became more mature and in such, has probably changed the way she feels about Naruto. I've already givin examples of evidence on how she feels, and I stand by this evidence untill I am proven wrong. If there is anything that I worry about is how Naruto feels about Sasuke and Sakura. And if Sakura went out and said something we'd might not be here today. All in all, future chapters will dictate on what happens, and all we can do is wait and see.

(The theme here: Nothing more nothing less)
SakuSasu= Well think about it. You'd have to really alter the feelings of Sasuke for him to spare a spark of interest for Sakura. The only good thing Sakura is good for, in Sasuke's eyes, is to restore his clan. That's it. Nothing more. Plus think about it. Sakura's supposed "love" is more of a school girl crush. Even when she said she really did love him, it really was sort of a lie. I think the true way Sakura sees Sasuke, is more of a you are a very very close friend to me and not only that, you're my teammate. I really like you. Nothing more, nothing less. It's the kind of love that two friends could share. But that's just it. They're only friends. Nothing more nothing less. There's also the whole Sasuke saying "Thank you." to Sakura when he left. But seriously what does that men really? My theory is that it meant: "Thank you for loving me even when I treated you like crap. Thank you for staying by me even when I pushed you aside. Thank you for taking care of me instead of hating me. Thank you for being my teammate. Thank you for being my friend." That's what I think he meant. Nothing more. Nothing less. Plus when Sakura supposedly was in love with him, she was only 12. Now when you're 12 (like me) you often have silly school crushes. At age 12 love is basically a game to most girls. (NOT ALL) Or like shopping. (I hate shopping) When you get a guy, you love him for a little way until you fall in love with another guy. And another. And another. You don't have an actual boyfriend until you're like 16+. Plus if you think about it Sakura was really chasing a dream right? The Sasuke she fell in "love" with was perfect. Well almost perfect. Sakura just smoothed out the flaws in her mind, until he was perfect. Nothing less. The true Sasuke, however, is a tortured soul, who's mind is corrupted. He's an avenger, a loner, and just a boy. No matter how old he is he will always be a boy. Nothing more nothing less. Sasuke doesn't care for anyone except himself. He used to be better as a kid, but after his clan died, everything fell apart. Now he's alone. Just like he always has. Sakura know this. Sakura know this well, but still she ignores it. She's blind yet not truly blind. She's deaf but not truly deaf. She tunes out whatever anyone says and just follows her "love" for Sasuke. But now...now she's stronger and now she knows better. She still loves Sasuke somewhere in her heart, but she's learning. She's learning that it isn't love. She's learning how to slowly let go. And this is a start. This is the first step to truly letting go and move on. Nothing more nothing less.
(The theme here: Just friends)
HinaNaru= Hinata...is very nice. She has a lot of... chances in love. But she never takes them. She's so in love with Naruto, that she doesn't see the others who love her. The same could go with Sakura. Except that Hinata isn't too obsessed. Anyway Hinata doesn't really have a chance with Naruto. Hinata's medical skills aren't needed because he can heal quickly with Kyubbi's chakra. Hinata is going through her more than a crush, less than love stage. The chances of it being mutual is slim. Very slim. Hinata is too shy for Naruto really. Plus Naruto doesn't show any signs of affection for her. He probably thinks of her as a friend. A good friend, but a friend nonetheless. Although some fans say "What about what happened in the chunnin exams huh?". Yeah well my response is: Naruto is just being...well Naruto. He cheered for Hinata because he just hated Neji-kun's arrogance bastardness. Plus he considered Hinata as a friend and to Naruto friends are as important and precious as all the money in the world and his dreams. Because he's never had friends before and before that all he had was his dream of being Hokage. So when Neji started to insult one of his friends, Naruto got pissed. So I could see HinaNaru as a friendship couple nothing romantic. Plus when Sasuke left, he needed someone who could comfort him or at least understand what he's going through. Sakura is able to do this because she was also close to Sasuke. Hinata can't really do anything to help Naruto. Plus she always blushes whenever he's around and if he makes any physical, she basically faints. They could never really have any romantic relationship without something going wrong. Not to mention the Hyugga clan is very strict about marriage and dating and all that stuff. I doubt that the Hyugga clan would let their heir date the so-called "Kyubbi container". Plus when it comes down to nothing, Hinata can't really do anything for Naruto. She could support him and all, but that's basically it. Because when you look at it Hinata and Naruto can only be friends in the end. Just friends.
(The theme: Everyone has been fragile in their lives and everyone of them could and can overcome it if they choose.)
SakuNaru: Ah the long awaited support. I can definitely rant about this. Most people are for this after the 2 and 1/2 year trip and I'm one too. But there's hints of NaruSaku even before Sasuke left. Sakura had cheered on Naruto when he fought Kiba-kun. Even when everybody thought he'd fail. Plus he had also cheered on Sakura when she fought Ino-chan. It was because of this that helped Sakura-chan tie with Ino. Now getting back to the couple in general. Sakura...Sakura is very fragile. She's like what her name says. She's like a cherry blossom. Fragile and beautiful. And like all fragile things, they need to be treated gently because if they aren't, they break. Naruto-kun had always treated her gently. Sasuke however, couldn't care less how he treated her. It was because of this that almost drove Sakura off the edge. It was because of this that caused Sakura to..break. Sasuke had pushed away Sakura since day 1. Why? Well most people think that the reason why is that he is a bastard. Actually he is quite the opposite...sorta. Like I said all fragile things needed to be treated gently, and Sasuke was treated anything but gently. You see everyone has been fragile in some part of their life. Even if it was for a little while, they are still fragile...And Sasuke was no exception He was always in the shadow of his ever-so-perfect brother. He idolized and hated him all at once. Then everyone had pressured Sasuke to be something no person is. Perfect. That was the first step in breaking him. Then when his clan was slaughtered it broke him. But that wasn't the end. He had become so obsessed with killing his brother that he left Kohana to get more powerful, while having the ever so controlling cursed seal, and he was trained by the psychotic Orochimaru. All at the young age of 12. This is what completely broke him. Still out of everyone, even Sasuke, Naruto probably had the hardest, harshest, cruelest, saddest, and most difficult life. The others had parents/relatives, and no matter how cruel some of them were, they still had parents. People who loved them, even if it was little love. Naruto didn't have that. He didn't have anything. No parents, no bloodline, no friends, and most importantly no love. Oh sure the hokage helped him, but was that really enough? Since the day he was born, Naruto had been shunned and hated. He was extremely fragile during his childhood. Everyone avoided him and abused him, for a reason that he didn't understand. He couldn't understand. But unlike Gaara, unlike everyone, he hadn't broken. He hadn't had a meltdown and went off the edge. No. He accepted things as they were and made the best of it. He did care about what the people said about him before, but after a while he realized something. As long as he was alive he could over come his fragility and become someone great. Despite what others said, he knew that he could and would be someone great. He had conquered his fragility. Sakura, however, was stilll a different story. Because she hadn't conquered her fragility, she needed someone to support her. She needed someone to hep her along the way and give her the strength she needed. Naruto was and is that person. When Sakura needs a shoulder to cry on, Naruto is always there. It was Naruto who cried out to help her in the chunin exams. He gave her some of that everlasting warmth he had for anyone and everyone to her. He promised to bring Sasuke even though it hurt him. Even though it broke his heart. He would do anything for her. Then after the 2 and 1/2 year training his love had matured even more....and so had Sakura's. Even if Naruto never said it out loud he knew somewhere deep deep down,he would never stop loving her. And just as Sakura knew she that she would never stop loving/liking Sasuke, she also knew that she's slowly moving on. Bit by bit her "love" for Sasuke was being replaced. Replaced by Naruto. The only person who ever truly loved her. That's why she has to find Sasuke. So that she could finally prove that her love was just a crush after all. To prove who she was really in love with. To prove that Sasuke would never love her. To prove that she had once and for all overcome her fragility
Yay I found more debates!!!!
2.Because Hinata can help Naruto bebame more cautious
3.Because Hinata is the only one to have aknowlege Naruto from the start.
4.Because they have a similar backgroud and can understood each other.
5.Because they're cute togethere
That's all I can think for now.
and
I'm sure that other NaruHina fans would agree too.
But, just for you, I'll list some off for you.
1)All the things zagan said
2)Hinata is awesome
3)Naruto is cute
4)They'd kick ass together
5)Their children would look beautiful and just adorable
6)Just... who could resist NaruHina?
7)They're just meant to be
8)Don't you think all those little hints mean SOMETHING?
9)They're perfect for each other; opposites attract
10)They'd get along great
11)Hinata needs to stand up for herself; I mean she's trying her best, but she needs that little extra push that only Naruto can give her.
12)Naruto is sometimes dense, he needs the wisdom of our little Hinata
13)Naruto is unpatient, and Hinata has too much patience.
14)Hinata always listens to him; and usually the only one who listens to him
15)Naruto is made for girls like Hinata
16)Hinata is made for guys like Naruto
.... The list can go on, and on, and on. I could go on forever. =) But, since i'm such a nice person,
I'll spare you the time of reading this. I'm sure you already wasted enough time reading this...uh... reply?
Anyway, NarutoHinata Love; they're meant to be.
-Aloi
Okay how does reasons 2-8 prove anything? 2.) and 3.)How is your opinion of Hinata being awesome and Naruto being cute have anything to fo with a reason? 4.) Kick ass? I think you're mistaking it for Naruto and Sakura. 5.) Okay first, that has nothing to do why they belong together. Second., Naruto and Sakura's kids would look cute too! 6.) I could resist it.... 7.) Some people say that with Gaara and Lee or Neji and Gaara... 8.) There are hints about NaruSaku too! Ch 297 for example! (fav. chapter) 9.) -sigh- like the others said. (Why must they always have this?) 10.) Oh suuuure! I doubt Hinata would talk more than two sentences before she faints. (no offense Hinata fans) Great relationship! 11.) She has other friends to help ya know! 12.) Yes but Sakura-chan is much smarter than Hinata-chan and she would help Naru-kun too! 13.) Again Sakura-chan can help! 14.) Meh must you ignore Sakura-chan? 15.) and 16.) WTF?! -hits my head on the wall- Hopeless!
AND
I'd just feel so sorry for Hinata if Naruto was paired up with anyone else!
I'd have writers guilt!
I'd turn a NaruSaku fic straight around just because I'd feel so bad.
Hinata deserves Naruto for more reasons than one, besides, we know Kishimoto made her like him for a reason. If someone is ignored as much as Naruto and someone like Hinata actually cared this whole time, not even loosing interest over three years of his absence, then there is a very good reason for that.
Plus there was the whole Naruto avenging Hinata thing that didn't even make much sense because Naruto didn't even know her, but he was compelled to avenge her anyway. And that he did, quite well I might add.
Okay the for the first 3 lines, you have proved absolutely nothing! Yay you!

The reason why Kishimoto created Hinata's admiration, IMO, is because it makes her strive to be like him. If she didn't have a crush, well, she wouldn't be the slowly-getting-more-confident- Hinata we all know! And yes he did try to avenge her because she was his friend. Plus he hates when people treated other people badly. He'd probably do the same thing to Sakura! Heck he did do a similar thing to Sakura!

While "logically", such a scenario could make sense, this is a shounen manga where Hinata and the Hyuuga clan in general are about "change." As such, if there were previous rules about the heiress not being allowed to marry outside the clan, then it'd actually work in Favour of NaruHina as Naruto will just rush in and save the damsel in distress. And it'd work since this is... you know... a shounen manga.
That said, I believe that the Hyuuga marriage system is a detail that Kishimoto will likely never bring up, simply because he has bigger things to worry about than:
- placing a 16-years-old (that's like... young)
- active shinobi
- into a forced arranged marriage plan
- which would require diverting a hell lot of attention from the main protagonist
- at a time when he should be concentrating on you know... Kyuubi, Akatsuki, the likes.
It'd simply take away too much focus off the main storylines, at a time when Kishimoto doesn't seem intent on giving much focus again on Any of the younger support cast, much less Hinata. Who's only 16 (ie rather young, for a shounen manga in any case, to be placed in such adult situations).
While it'd work in a shoujo manga, this isn't a shoujo manga.
